Love the look and fit of your table. Spent many summers in a small trailer with the same type of table. Thanks for the memory. - Annie

I know mine wasn't the first. I've seen them with one tool on each side which is really awesome. I just needed a way to fit it under my bench.

Wonderful video.I wish I had all of the tools to do this. My vintage travel trailer needs a table, I have the old one but like you say, it is way too big. I need a smaller version of my own. Thanks for the video, very well done.

Man that's some equipment. I intend to make one with hand tools. Seems every where I look for a little inspiration everyone has like a lottery win worth of shop and tools. Lovely to watch though! Thank you! I'm just jealous! Haha

Thats not a lottery win worth of tools, thats a lack of other hobbies. It's cheaper than having a project vehicle or a couple dirtbikes. My hobby just happens to bring me a little extra cash haha! Thanks!

I want to do this for our camper. I'd really like to know if the table will slide along the length of the rail, or do you have to lift/angle it first? Ours needs to move to provide better access to one of the bench seats.

I'm about to make a similar table with 1x4 fir (but it will be free standing with folding pedestal legs). Before I start, do you think this will be strong enough to use as a bed in a traditional rv dinette (resting between two benches)? The boards would be running parallel to the benches. I'm concerned about the boards warping under pressure. Thanks for the great video! It's the best I've found, by far.

How do you find that clip-in aluminium rail with a much heavier table like this? Does it feel like a solid mounting? And that's also quite a lightweight folding leg - does your table feel sturdy?

The original table-top was clearly designed by someone who was planning for spills. By having a curve on the surface any spills would be contained on the table itself. ;-)
