I recommend using Tails to people with disabilities using screen readers and so on.
This is incredible! Thank you!
🙏
brilliant will try it out
Taking Snowden's advice is like taking the advice of Martin Bormann.
Ok, this sounds good, so everything is in the flash drive or external memory, right? Nothing is in the computer, but then original Operating System where is it? Is it still there?
"Heads", is another boot from USB OS. It's based on Devuan Linux.
Kind of off subject but I struggle with pros and cons of Google account 'find my phone' feature. Reminds me of a car salesman selling me a car with automatic locking doors as a selling point (yes I'm old). Well so odds of being carjacked vs rolling over and needing doors to open vs staying locked for security. So with that said. Privacy leaving phone location on along with 'opening myself' to Google? But odds of losing phone greater than being hacked or identity theft? Dilemma? Or over thinking?
No it's a great thing to consider. The apple find my phone feature has saved me before! It all comes down to your threat model, what kind of things you're doing on your device, etc. There are definitely trade offs between privacy and convenience.
@@NaomiBrockwellTV yes yes yes. Android me thinks find my phone is priceless... So I accept that risk.
I finished downloading it on my MacBook, but it doesn't switch even after I shut it down. What should I do?
Naomi needs to dust her keyboard. I know, I'm one to talk.
😂 indeed
Merci Naomi
Merci achtung
I'm a bit confused, I KNOW that Tails is a Linux Distro, then why are you trying to implicate its not? (Windows, MacOS, various versions of Linux and THEN there is Tails) ? Not appriciated
Love ya Naomi. Do you think you could do an investigative piece on Palantir Gotham used by the US intelligence agencies? Would Tails easily defeat thus software?
You can have seperate tor instances(containarized) running for different things.
Thank you Sweetie x
I can see the way your mind works in the way you edit your videos, it was entertaining as well as informative 😏.
Thanks
New to your channel, love your vids!!!
Thanks for this. Install was relatively easy.
May i know which software you have used for this video editing....? hope u reply soon..
Ok my questions are: tails operated in ram, you can extract information from ram. How does it if it does clear ram?
making people to believe that their identity is secure after you boot out.....what about Communication protocol which make you traceable where you location is or was. and many many traceability whic exists in digital communication.
Naomi, thank you for great information.
🙏
So, persistent storage is saved to the Tails USB rather than the computer itself...?
yep
