You have a huge heart. God has your purpose in life to protect His Spirit equines. Big heart, great story teller and funny lady. You never stop surprising me in a wonderful way. Much love my dear
Yes, please. More stories on Stewy.🥰
I am really enjoying seeing your channel. Sort of reminds me of my youth when I loved to ride trail horses & sometimes got to curry comb them.
I went on your Amazon wish list and wasn't sure how to send you a gift card because I am an old lady and not so great with computers. Do you have cash app or Paypal so I can just send you a donation as I really want to support what you are doing for these horses. Have a great day.
Spending all that money doesn't seem silly to me. I'm a person who spent $300 on vet care for a $5 rat. We can't always act according to our heads but according to our hearts. Killing these horses because no one wants them is unconscionable. Watching this little guy bloom under your kind and knowledgeable care is beyond touching. ❤
Now if only we could get people like you elected to high office in US!
It brakes my heart to know that horses are sent to slaughter. They have never been recognized for their immense contribution in settling the west, hauling equipment and soldiers during 2 world wars and showing true loyalty.I thank you for your compassion and respect for these beautiful and smart animals.God bless you always!
Let yourself spare a tear for goats, pigs, sheep and cows as well.
that’s different. They’re bred to be food and there’s nothing wrong with meat. Horses arent for eating
@@ChicagoMel23by humans at least
Selling horses for meat is against the law in civilized countries. I guess the United States is not in that category 😢
I disagree with "NEVER been recognized". Watch the use of the word 'never'. Horses have most certainly been abused and neglected and treated with indifference by many---but they have also been revered, held up as tremendously Prized creatures, as well as loved and then mourned when they pass away. This world is FULL of polarity.
"Vowed to never drink and buy horses again." OMG LOL I totally agree on both points.
Lol! With me, it’s craft supplies
But do we really learn? 😂

He may actually be worth the money. He is a tough, good looking horse. Some of my best horses have been tiny. My best horse of all time was a mare out of a Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse, by an Appaloosa. She was never over 13:2 and 720 lbs. She handled my weight better than the big horses I've had over the years. She was smooth gaited and fast, and would do absolutely anything from pulling a manure spreader to cultivating the garden, to pulling formal carriages, to herding cattle, to long trail rides, to skidding logs out of the woods. She was also incredibly kind and careful with even the smallest children. I would ten times rather have a horse like that than the most expensive Thoroughbred. She was active and useful up until her death at 28. Unfortunately, like Stewy, she had a heavy load of worms when I got her. She was prone to colic because of the damage they did, and colic is what finally got her. Her daughter lived to be 35 and never colicked once, but I never let her get that load of worms.
I’m so glad you had a few, then bid on Stewy! He’s a great horse, and you’re pretty great too🌺
Seemed like a good idea at the time ! 😁
Yes,she is! N I've only seen 1! But ❤❤❤❤
@TheCleverCowgirl years ago I refused to go on HRT as the type common here in the UK came from the US and after looking into it before deciding found out that it was made from pregnant mares urine and a good % of the unwanred foals ended up in slaughter I saw a documentary and it was worse that a puppy farm not sure if it's still happening now though
@@annieg5487 I don't know how it is in the UK, but in the US, compounding labs can make bio-identical hormone replacements. Check with your doctor if this is possible in the UK, if you are still wanting HRT.
Back in the mid 1970s some Arabian breeding friends of mine rescued a colt something like this one. He was over a year old, WAY under weight and height for his age, full of worms, dull coat, and looked more like a weanling size. Anyhow, the horse had been gifted to the owner - she really hadn't wanted it, and just sent it to a boarding farm that had NO clue on how to feed him properly, or anything else ! So my friends offered to take the young colt off her hands. They worked very hard to bring him to his full potential, and due to his excellent Arabian breeding, he was eventually added to their breeding program as a stud. To see 'Abby' when they first got him - small, skinny and neglected - and to what he looked like about a year or so later, when he reached his full potential after being dewormed and fed all he needed to grow properly and into good health ? You'd never guess in a million years that he was the same colt ! He was just beautiful. :)
Alcohol fueled horse bidding is a significant step up from ordering a few extra things on Amazon prime and forgetting until they show up 😂😂😂 next time my husband has questions I’ll remind him it could be WORSE lmao! What a cutie though! He won the lottery with you ❤
It could be a horse 😂😂😂❤
I resemble that remark. 😆 Alcohol & Amazon are a lethal combination. I'll have to tell hubby "at least I didn't buy a horse". Yes more Stewie please.
🤣🤣🤣
Stewie reminds me a lot of my BLM mustang. My Logan had known hard homes all through his life (He's 26 now), the cowboy who tried to "train" him said he was the rankest horse he'd ever encountered. He lives a quiet and peaceful life here with me; nobody will ever hurt my boy.
I'm a layman, but isn't it great luck to get a horse that's smart, can be by himself AND play with the herd, do silly endearing things and come running because he loves you? Stewy's a star. I needed a lift, and this video is it. Thanks for saving Stewy and I'm happy knowing he's in Montana being his Stewie self right this moment. More please. I don't know what your channel is about but you're awesome and I'm subscribing!
Thank you so much!! Stewy is one of a kind!
You are definitely "One Of A Kind". I call you "Angel Gal", in every aspect of what an *Angel* is.🐎🪽
He is so beautiful! He hit the jackpot when he found you!
I love your horse rescue stories. Very professional grade productions. Engaging, easy to follow, nice story trajectory and empathies and happy endings, great narrator voice and story moves along at a just right pace. Yes, I definitely wouldn't mind hearing more about Stewy.
Thank you very much!
Yes love her voice! I can follow the narration perfectly especially with no music. And learn sooo much even tho I’m not a horse person! Bless you for the rescue of these beautiful creatures! ❤ I believe God appoints certain angels to be their guardians.
Well said. Totally agree with all.
It's heartbreaking that sny horse goes to slaughter. Thanks for saving him
Stewie has such a sweet, and still playful nature, without being too rough. And his level of curiosity and focus seems high too. Lucky you.
I'm clueless to horses but I'm beginning to understand your work. Thank YOU...
Loved this, CC, and love you for posting. 💕🙏🏼💕
I love this story of how a wise eye picked out such a wonderful colt, and in helping him by bidding took on a huge rescue and rehab, only to see that the colt was so perfect as a prospect, and so sweet. Would adore seeing more of him and his cute antics - he's so very watchable in whatever adventure he is experiencing! Kudos to you!!!
I love seeing him play with whatever he can get loose. It makes me smile to see them do "silly" things ☺️!
You're a real horsewoman! All respect to you.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step....He is a real sweetheart...
I was almost afraid to watch the entire thing because you kept using past tense. I was afraid something bad had happened. What a relief to see him alive and well.
He is full of beans! I love the way he holds his tail, Very majestic. It makes him easy to pick out of a crowd.
I call him Stew Bean all the time ! ❤️
Seeing him run with his tail flagged is beautiful 😍
What an interesting history. He’s lucky he found a home w/you & had a chance to acclimate & develop.
The vet never should have done a fake geld. He or she should have refused to do that. Removing one testicle, without looking for the other, is malpractice. Representing a horse as "gelded" when only one testicle has been removed, is simply lying.
What a beautiful story - he was meant to be yours. Beautiful.
More Stewy please. What a wonderful adventure this has turned out to be. (I also really enjoyed Scarlet's story).
He’s honestly a complete gem. What a sweet, adorable little soul. Bidding tipsy probably wasn’t the best decision but it was definitely a happy accident. He’s going to make someone so happy when he’s ready to sell.
Those were some healthy looking horses. Thanks for posting this video. It's a welcome escape from the negativity of most of the stuff on UA-cam right now.
I get such a wave of peace inside when I watch your horses and their stories. I have a big crush on Stewie. Thank you very much for sharing with us.
Stevie is THAT boy that everything was thrown at him, including the kitchen sink....DUDE dealt with this like a champ. His demeanor is stellar. " YAY STEWIE "😂❤❤
So honest and hilarious that "a few adult beverages " helped save this little darling's life😂
Bless you for all you do!❤
I’m no horse guy..but kindness is a virtue..you did a lot to save a young life..thanks

11hh at 2 and made it over 14hh! That's crazy!!! He looks so good. More Stewy!
stewy will pay for himself in no time just from his comedy gold alone
I love hearing about Stewy, I love seeing how beautiful and healthy he is now.
Thanks for saving him, he's Absolutely Beautiful!! Love your videos..
Thank you for saving him Margaret from Australia 🦘
What a wonderful rescue! You are terrific person. I do cat rescue and love watching the horse rescues since I cannot ride due o a back issue.
, but I rescue most of the older cats since no one ever wants to take them.. congrats on being one of the best ones I have found!
Thank you so much! I also have a few special kitties!
I have a car who has a allergy to plaque she went through a lot before I got her so glad you have cats too
You can also tell hes mama was a mustang.
He has that bigger bone in his legs.
Hes got the strong mustang legs.
Stewie is a handsome little guy. And has such a sweet face and kind eyes.
Mustangs are smart. So its no suprise this young guy is smart and a willing learner.
Hes gonna be something Special i can see that so very clear.
So glad you had those "Adult drinks" ....Stewy is such a sweet little horse....would love to see more of him...Thank you for the life you have given him, that is absolutely priceless...💜🐎
Glad he was lucky enough to go home to you!
😂 My mom calls them "Adult beverages." I was cracking up about your vow to never drink and bid on horses. I love your sense of humor. I'm glad he went to you and not to slaughter. I wish I had the space to rescue horses. You're living my dreams.
Stewy is a very fortunate horse! You’ve done an excellent job with him.
I just don’t get owners who send their animals to auctions like this, even the sick and old ones.
I’m of the old school belief that we take responsibility for our animals and care for them until we either find them a new home or until they no longer have good quality of life i.e., sick and can’t get better or just plain old and in pain.
May GOD richly bless you for taking care of your horses the way you do.
That Stewy is one lucky guy!! Looking forward to seeing how he goes. I can SO relate to him being your most expensive rescue to date. My guy was the most expensive free horse I have ever owned. Kid you not the first set of vaccines the vet gave him once he came to live with me, he ended up with necrotizing fasciitis and it was one major thing after another with him until the day I made him cross the Rainbow Bridge 12 years later. I deeply appreciate your commitment to your horses once you take them on. I feel exactly the same way.
Love the name "Stewie"! It's my favorite character from my favorite T.V. show!!! 🐎🥰
Thank you for saving these horses. You’re the most honorable cowgirl I know. These videos bring a lot of people joy.
Bravo Cowgirl!! Well Done.
Another huge save CC. I love him and Skelator and Nigel. I am starting to learn the other horses names. All are in the best hands possible. You are an amazing horsewoman. I have wanted to be you my whole life. Too late now, but watching you and learning every day is a real blessing to me. I'm 66 and I have to settle for not living my dream. Thanks for sharing yours with us.
Yay for Stuey!! What a bright, happy guy! I loved hearing his story. Thank you for sharing it with us 😀
I really like Stuie. He's so cute! Someone is going to get a wonderful horse when you are finished training him.
Another horse channel I watch thought they had lost the bid on a Clydesdale filly. The next day they get a call to say the bid winner had backed out because they didn't want to arrange next day transportation to their out of state home. They scooped her up happily and will pair with their male eventually learning to pull a wagon as a team. It was meant to be. So glad you honor your sales and your horses.
Thanks for saving Stewy from slaughter - such a sad fate for a young healthy horse
nothing like some adult beverages at 1am horse auction watching 😂
When you look in Stewie’s eyes, you also see his great heart and his sound mind! What a pal to have❤
Great video and story of this horse. I would love to see more of him and how he turns out. He has a great personality.
Cheers from me, old granny now. I loved your story.
You are a kind heart. ❤
You have good instincts, good karma, and good luck to save Stewy.
I always feel good for the rest of the day after watching your videos TCC. 🤗 "The good is out there, you just have to let it in." 🥰💕 Thanks for caring and sharing. 🐎
That is so nice!!!🥰
Thank you for SAVING him and so many others!❤
Thank you for investing time in him that he needed. You truly saved him. ♥️♥️♥️
There is no way i would have passed him up if i could have had him 😊
What a story. I remember when I was new to showing my AQHA gelding at halter and had the judge ask me what a crypt orchid was. All I could say was "I have absolutely no idea." I've never forgotten. I looked up Smart Chick Olena to see what his specialty is and thought either reining or cutting and saw that he must be a pretty good cutter with a $4800 stud fee. Thank you for saving this little guy for the long haul. I hope he turns out to be a winner.
Stewie looks like he will be a great horse.
Your horses all look so well taken care of. ❤
Thank you! 😊
God bless you. There is no money that cud amount to the love and gratitude Stewy has for you. You have been and will continue to be rewarded for your rescue and love towards him. All rhe things he’s done to be a comfort and companion to other horses you cud not have afforded.
Thank you for being kind to these souls - God bless
Stewy is awesome- He's so chill for everything he's been through. Thankful you found each other.
He's precious! Thank you for saving him!
You did good. Stewie is an exception Guy. His demeaner is top-notch. Hes beautiful. And kind. ❤
God bless you.❤ He saw you as his guardian angel.
Save the little one's so vulnerable 🙏🙌
he turned into such a beautiful horse.
Gotta love those liars who dumped this horse (loaded with worms I might add), passing him off as a gelding when they knew damned well he still had a testicle. 😡 Did they think you wouldn't notice? So heartwarming to see him so happy and healthy, running in the pasture. You are the Patron Saint of Lost Horses!💗
Hard not to notice a stray testicle eventually🤣
Such a good and patient heart..well done
I just love the way he runs almost prancing with tail held high and his hair blowing in the wind........I love him it so joyous to watch❤❤❤❤🐎🐴
That day 1000 photo is *WOW*!!!!!!! 😍
I don’t know a thing about horses but do know I love watching your channel. You are such a kind and knowledgeable horse owner, the horses are blessed being added to your heard. Thank you ❤️
Thank you so much!
More of him please. He is beautiful and beautiful minded. Bless you.
Stewy looks like a rascal! A cute rascal at that. What a sweetheart.💙
He totally is!
He is truly a blessing. You can see how he runs with joy! Yet has that look like, I will totally get into trouble! Give him a kiss for me💌 @@TheCleverCowgirl
He is a gorgeous horse on so many levels. Temperament is so important.
You're not a clever Cowgirl, you're a clever horsegirl!
You really know how to treat them right and you put in so much hard work! Kudos to you, a subscription to your Channel it is...
God bless you for doing that. He was worth it. 💕🐎
He had really filled out, and his movement is awsome!!! PLEASE keep updating us on his progress!🤗👍🖖
He seems to be a really sweet guy...well done!
Congratulations on your work on Stewy. He is beautiful
What a beautiful story. Thank you!🎉
Loved Stewy’s story, would love to see more of him. He seems like a wonderful horse.
It is heartbreaking what is being done in America to our equines! 😢💔 You have the biggest heart ever and I appreciate everything you are doing for these horses which would most likely end up in a slaughterhouse, a place where no horse should EVER end up! Thank you so much for your kindness, love and care you have for these beautiful and majestic creatures! ❤️❤️❤️
Stewy is a beautiful animal and it sounds like he's getting the care and training that he needs. I hope that for the rest of his life he is as well taken care of as he is at your ranch.
You are just one amazing gal and wise beyond your years! I learn something with every watching!! Thank you!❤
I'm so glad you got Stewie. I think he was worth it. 💕
Bless you for saving him from slaughter! God will bless you for your great ❤!!
I love Stewy! Love his success story and so happy you saved him.
You are these horses' savior. God bless you.
I bet he's gonna be such a calm, reliable ride once he gets properly trained, and therefore hopefully great for children!
Stewie is so sweet ❤ Thank you so much for bidding on him
Stewy looks like a nice little guy. Fortunate for him he ended up with you.
He's turned into a stunning looking horse. Love the way he holds up his tail a handsome fella 😍
God bless your who save the horse, so kind, lovely
Thanks you so much🌹💖
