Matt Williams…the Boks were in this match to watch, and learn what Ireland has in a tight match, how they will respond to adversity and Bok physical pressure…the Boks did not maul once except at the final lineout, with a 7-1 split you would think they would kick out and maul every time..but they kicked for the polls (maybe to test Libbok’s BMT) .. the Boks will be waiting for Ireland in the final … IF they can get past Scotland and NZ…
The Boks will play France in the Quarter Finals, v England/ Fiji in the Semis...the Final will be against Ireland or The All Blacks ✅☝🏻
Ireland will have a better line out and will go for kicks. Ireland can handle boks power and dominate in the breakdown. Boks got a try off a fortuitous rebound off the sticks. They didn't look like scoring a try otherwise. If any team looks like it will win a rematch it's Ireland.

The way for Ireland to win this RWC, is to avoid playing South Africa again at all costs.
Ireland have won 3 in a row against South Africa and this time without a proper line-out. Would be confident facing them again. They can’t bully Ireland physically and thereafter look stuck for ideas.

South Africa lost the game more than Ireland won it. Way too early to say Ireland are the best team. SA were the better team on Sat. but lost...
What a complete load of bollocks mate. Ireland won. There was no case of 'Oh, the Boks wanted to lose, so this outcome could happen'. Ireland tried and succeeded. SA tried and failed. End of story.

difficult to say. SA definitely left points behind but so did Ireland with the lost line outs. But you are right, there is very little between these teams and SA will get stronger while we have yet to overcome the QF hurdle

Our lineout will not struggle like that again, that was a one off and thankfully it came in a group match.

Reasonable analysis until the gentleman said IRE are the best team at the WC. With respect I don't think even he believes that. RSA kept IRE in that game and credit to IRE for hanging in there. At best IRE is tied for 2nd best team at the WC. 1st The Boks it's obvious now especially after that match. 😊
