A good vocal coach will tell him to make a come back for a rock vocalist planning a big long tour you gotta train DAILY (by doing correct exercises plus singing songs) for at least 6 - 12 months before you can even come anywhere near close to top form but these guys think they can just order their vocal cords to cooperate instantly to sing at an acceptable professional level.

When you say at 10:47 that you knew it was some sort of vocalisation, the thing he was using was a talk box. There's a little amp and speaker that pushes the sound into a tube into the guitarist's mouth, and then he can use his mouth shape to control overtones, while using the guitar to control fundamental pitch and volume.

Unfortunately, Vince has had a hard time lately with his vocals. Of course, he should get himself in shape, physically and mentally for the road. I hope he can somehow bounce back with the Crue.
You said the key word there " adrenaline". The bass player Nicki Six wrote this song. He was going through a rough part of life and fell into drugs and alcohol and several trips to the hospital. One trip he almost didn't come back, he was pronounced dead at the hospital after several shots of adrenaline and several hits from the defibrillator to get his heart going again thus this is where the name of the song came from Kick start my heart
I really think you would love "Misunderstood" from the 1994 album. Vince Neil left the band and was replaced by John Corabi. The album was heavily underrated as well as Corabi's vocal performance. A truly hidden gem.
I’ve listened to this song for YEARS and one day while listening to it…it hit me hard. The song is going full bore and then it hits that breakdown slow part. It starts picking back up steam and then it goes back to full bore. It made me think about Nikki’s life and when he ‘died’…life was going full bore and then he crashed. He was lifeless momentarily and then he started to come back to the real world, back to life…then he came back full alive. I don’t know if it’s intentionally written this way to reflect what it’s like to be alive, die, then come back to life…but it’s one hell of a coincidence 7:05 is life…. 7:22 is death and somewhere in between…. 7:42 is the adrenaline shots hitting his heart trying to resuscitate him…. 8:00 is being revived… 8:11 is back to life For me, it’s too much coincidence with the subject matter of the song and those sections. It’s pure genius
so happy to hear a professional say that Vince Neil's voice is actually technical and good, most peoplesay he's just average or less Hope you do other Motley Crue songs, but there's so much good ones, most famous would be : Smoking in the boys room, live wire, Same old situation, Girls girls girls, Home sweet home (ballad), looke that kill, without you (ballad), too young to fall in love, you're all I need, Dr Feelgood ...
Mick Mars is using a " Talk Box " using a tube through his Amp and making all kinds of sounds. Peter Frampton used the same apparatus on " Do Me Like You Do " Don't hold me to the exact title of that song lol.. it was on his Peter Frampton Comes Alive Album.

The saddest part: Vince RUINED his voice by never warming up properly. In the last few years he's gotten really out of shape physically, can't remember most of the words, and isn't the same guy he was. I wish he'd taken better care of himself and his voice.
I've seen him a couple of times in the last several years. It was obvious they turned his mic down and the music up to cover up his lack of range these days.

@@ThelSuperlKing My neighbour has been in training for 3 months for gigs coming up (3 shows per week for 10 weeks). The fact that Vince shows such contempt his ticket buying fans is deplorable. There again, he never did take his obligations seriously.
Yeah but he sounds like discount Bob Dillion now
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the 80's best of times and music. I so miss them! So much fun! Great bands such as Motley Crue etcetc and the pub scene in Australia as well!! So glad I grew up in that era! Yeah getting older sucks in a way, but I wouldn't change a damn thing!
Sad to think the younger generations will never know those times by experiences. Or all of those great bands, and far more simpler fun times as well. The 90's was fun too!
They’re not kicking ass anymore. That’s a shame.
well ya know its hard to kick when they are in their 60s lol
@@mikey222222 tell that to Mick Jagger... 😉
So good to see you back at it love. Hope you're well and dan-day.
Grew up on Motley Crue and others like them - wrecked my voice as a teen doing this crazy stuff.
Was a heck of a fun time to grow up, can tell you; great to see you cover classics like this.
I saw Motley Crue open for Ozzy somewhere around 1984. I'll be extremely kind and say that the Crue have improved a great deal since I first saw them.
Aw man I love motley crue and 80's metal/rock in general.
Unfortunately Vince's live vocals are very hit and miss, especially in modern times. Please do more motley tho.
My first concert was this tour. December 11, 1989 at the Nassau Coliseum. Warrant opened up. I was 15. Great memories.
Don’t listen to him sing now, you’ll be very disappointed.
Why
@@hx20games77 coz he's s**t 😂
@@hx20games77 He's terrible
Vince doesn't sing anymore. He mumbles a few words while gasping for air
@@MikeHart72 you're being pretty generous to him there...
Watching Vintage Motley Crew, Cool. Watching Ms. Becca and her reaction... Priceless. Thank you Luv. 😊
I'd love to see your reaction to Coheed and Cambria.
You look absolutely radiant 😍
I truly enjoy when you look happy 😊
So glad you remembered you have metal fans...that luv your comments and reactions🤟
Thanks Rebecca ⚘
PS. Have fabulous weekend
I heard "Looks That Kill" by them. Got the cassette and stuck with it for a couple years. When their third album came out, I found out they had a first album so I went to that. 1 and 2 probably still basically their stuff I liked. At that time it was more bands coming out. Casey Kasem did America's Top 40 on tv with bands showing up, and he was Shaggy on Scooby-doo for years... I get distracted and change topics a lot haha... He used to cover a lot, and lots of mixes... ua-cam.com/video/ya06v50pqIg/v-deo.html
wov riding the bus/bike in my teens, with a walkman "sony" just rocking... listening to this was ,,,,,,epic. 😎😎
Lol...comparing Vince to Ronnie is like comparing a Yugo with a Rolls
That's stupid
Naw, man. More like a Corvette. Fast and flashy to the Rolls more stately feel. Very different cars, but both are cool. A yugo is just being hateful.
Yugo... Yugo? Yugo!? Geez. How could you hate Vince that much. Did he kill your puppy?
Don"t go away mad,, just go away Motly Crue... 1 of their best
Why are all these vocal coaches so damn beautiful
No simp’n bruh
I Love 💘 you're reaction, to one of the Greatest Glam Metal Bands in Rock-n-Roll history!!!!
A swarm of 20,000 bees followed a car for two days in 1998 because their queen bee was stuck inside…. and I can’t even get a date.
Did you try to lock yourself in a car? Maybe this get you a date? Or 20.000...😉
Greetings from Germany.
Your so cool to watch, listen too, also you recognize feel.
Dio is rolling in his grave that you just compared Vince Neil to him, yikes.
It's like comparing a Ferrari to a Fiat.
She meant energy-wise, not vocals.
Arguably Motley Crue's best song.
I agree
Vince Neil has always sounded awful live but that never stopped Motley Crue being one of my fav bands.
Have you seen the incoherent version of this song? Not one word from his mouth was English! 😄
@@DAVIDPEREZ-ux8cp That version was the funniest thing I've seen and heard for a very long time. I was in tears and my sides were hurting with laughing so much!
Absolutely adrenaline! They are rock legends.
Unfortunately, Vince has had a hard time lately with his vocals. Of course, he should get himself in shape, physically and mentally for the road. I hope he can somehow bounce back with the Crue.
He has the tone but gets winded, that's his only issue...for all the flack he gets he's been more consistent than most of his peers
If by lately you mean the last 30 years sure.
@@geochat66 Well, he's made a lot more money than me with his vocals so he must be doing something right.
Goodness. It's like you get more and more adorable with each vid...
You're looking good, Rebecca. Great video, thanks for the content!
I don’t know if it’s intentionally written this way to reflect what it’s like to be alive, die, then come back to life…but it’s one hell of a coincidence
7:05 is life…. 7:22 is death and somewhere in between…. 7:42 is the adrenaline shots hitting his heart trying to resuscitate him…. 8:00 is being revived… 8:11 is back to life
For me, it’s too much coincidence with the subject matter of the song and those sections. It’s pure genius
so happy to hear a professional say that Vince Neil's voice is actually technical and good, most peoplesay he's just average or less
Hope you do other Motley Crue songs, but there's so much good ones, most famous would be : Smoking in the boys room, live wire, Same old situation, Girls girls girls, Home sweet home (ballad), looke that kill, without you (ballad), too young to fall in love, you're all I need, Dr Feelgood ...
And 'Shout at the Devil'
Ok, yep. Agreed. We're obvious fans here. It would save time, and typing, to say we like them all. Right?
My favorite is Louder then hell/ Hotter than Hell
Mick Mars is using a " Talk Box " using a tube through his Amp and making all kinds of sounds. Peter Frampton used the same apparatus on " Do Me Like You Do " Don't hold me to the exact title of that song lol.. it was on his Peter Frampton Comes Alive Album.
Unfortunately, Vince’s voice is shot...
I don't think it's his voice that's shot per say but his overall physical condition. I think if he'd actually shape up i think he can still hit those notes but he can't keep up
Oh yeah it is. I had the 'privilege' of hearing Vince perform 2 years ago. Vince had absolutely no voice let at all.
@@aaronbaird9444 Dunno how old this is, but damn... The band are fine, but Vince is, well, he sounds like the vocal version of a StSanders Shred video. ua-cam.com/video/HZVjSwO_nkw/v-deo.html
I literally live my life with a rifle in my hand and a parachute on my back. Obviously, this is one of my favorite songs, no matter how old it is. Loved your reaction hon.
Right...maybe Vince Neil will never sing again...He lost his Voice about a Week ago in Stage😟
Listen to Mötley Crües Ballads....
Without you...Home sweet Home...
Between your English accent and your stunning looks, I find myself on your channel just as often to admire you as I do to hear your reaction and break downs of the songs. Good thing you’re on the other side of a very large pond or I may have tried to sign up for a lesson and I can’t even begin to sing.
Even though I like Motley Crue as a band, I always thought Vince Neil was the weakest link in the chain.
I preferred John Corrabi over Vince
@@FWDSUXARSE Wow and he was only in the band for one album I think
Rebecca you were without a doubt my favorite person that does this type of review stuff
Thanks honey
Vince Neil lost his singing chops years ago sadly.
Clearly you havent heard him lately now that hes gotten back in shape for their upcomming stadium tour. 😉
Loved their live shows. I saw them on the Dr Feelgood tour and his live vocals were pretty awful. The overall show was fantastic though.
@@imying72 I'm going to assume you're being sarcastic because I have heard him recently LOL
There's a band literally need your attention LOUDNESS from Japan
The saddest part: Vince RUINED his voice by never warming up properly. In the last few years he's gotten really out of shape physically, can't remember most of the words, and isn't the same guy he was. I wish he'd taken better care of himself and his voice.
I've seen him a couple of times in the last several years. It was obvious they turned his mic down and the music up to cover up his lack of range these days.
If they end up actually going on tour with Def leppard you'll see a whole new Vince as the boys in Lep won't let him ruin the tour.
I was a DJ at a local radio station when this came out. Crue was getting soft, was the consensus at the time. Then, this was the first release on the new lp. Back to badass! Still my favorite MC song :)
This is how they were released. I don't remember them going soft. Girls, Girls, Girls album is pretty damn dark if you listen to it. Definitely not their best by any means but not soft

Vince's voice is all studio, he's awful live and always has been.
You're wrong. He could sing through the 90's. He's a an absolute train wreck now, but you're ignorant.
@@DadBigE Ok smarty pants, go watch their live act at the US Festival in 1983. It proves how awful he was, especially on Live Wire, bitch.
This song is amazing,,,, it will replicate the feeling of good drugs without drugs,,,,just drive to this song in a convertible corveete on a good day,,,,,,
I never thought he was a good singer, could never produce the goods live either. John Corabi was a much better singer for Motley Crue, I don't care how unpopular that opinion is.
I don't think that's all that unpopular of an opinion! I love the Corabi Crue album!
@@mikeski205 believe me it is man. They got Vince back because the fans and the record label made them. If they changed the name of the band it probably would have worked out better.
