      spiritbx1337 Granted. Although you have to admit that there are characteristics in either sex, both good and bad, that are displayed. Sometimes either inherent or learned.
      Feminists however tend to instil the worst attitudes of female behaviour and even politicise it.

      If somone hits me first, or threatens me with violence I'm going to fight back and dirtier, lass or gent alike. However, if I hit them, whether they hit me first or not I don't expect them not to attack back either. It shouldn't come to violence unless both parties are prepared to deal with consequences for taking that action. Violence shouldn't be resorted to except in retalliation for violence, and even then it's kinda iffy. Everyone these days is hypocrative and overly sensitive and this is why I think humans as a species are trash and would prefer to spend my time with strangers pets than actually meeting new people.

      A mindless toad of a man should press charges for being hurt (in self-defence on her part) for not being able to take no for an answer and then choking and beating her? Oh, yeah, that makes sense...
      I suggest you take no for an answer instead, it would never be the other way around and if it was we'd still be here saying the same thing - but I guess you'd still be on the man's side either way, that's the only difference. Clearly you are not pro-equality otherwise you would not utter such nosense.

    The drink-throwing thing is an interesting example of a woman-favoring double standard that most people don't realize, & neo-fems definitely won't acknowledge. If you did some sort of "what would you do?", watch the crowd react to a staged situation-type experiment -- man throws a drink on a woman; people "freak out", jump to help her, etc (regardless of knowing what words they were exchanging, etc). Woman throws a drink on a man; people laugh, point, "he must have wronged her, haha!"

    • @Dja05
      @Dja05 9 років тому +1

      LanceUppercut4 That would be entirely correct for a physical assault, but I don't thinkg a mere splash would trigger that reaction...

    • @LanceUppercut
      @LanceUppercut 9 років тому +2

      Gianni Carrea Maybe that'd be _your_ reaction (or lack-there-of, as it were), but there would be *some* people who'd be that defensive over a woman. Even if people didn't insert themselves into the situation, you have to admit it would not be considered a "funny" situation, as the latter would be (by most). It would be more of a "woa! wtf? why'd he do that to her?!"

      You're saying that as if there's some kind of conflict between the two. In any case, people who think going to bars is great entertainment beyond the flirting and potential sex element really need help IMO. I couldn't imagine a more boring and pointless activity.
      I submit that you simply haven't understood the point of bars.
      Also, this has nothing to do with self control of course. You can have perfect self control in such a situation, with a clearly identified goal that you hold for rational reasons.

      +King Jon Targaryen I I know right? It's like girls actually have the obligation to be doing something just because other people think they should be doing it. It's kind of obvious, but it looks necessary to say it over and over: People can do whatever they want to. If they want to go to a bar and not pick up anyone, guess what? THEY CAN DO IT.

      I agree with everything except for the part that "if the guy is like this and this and the girl is feeling like this and that, she will not turn him down". That's exactly the type of point that strengthens extremist feminists's arguments, because you're basically promissing me something that is evidently not true. There's never 100% chance that the girl will sleep with you, even if she's horny and everything indicates that she's willing to do it. If you start from the premise that there's such a 100% chance situation, it implies that a girl does not have the right to reject you in this sort of situation. I know you know that, but other people might not. That's why would suggest that you leave no ambiguity in your words when discussing such subjects.

    • @Linchful
      @Linchful 8 років тому

      That's why I said I agree with everything but that thing you said. It contradicts what you mostly said, that if the situation indicates attraction, then it probably is. Again, I agree with that. I only suggested that you tried not to slip in that sense, cuz people can feel incentived to use some distorted reasoning when the "100% sure" idea is used.

    Men need to stop defending aggressive females. The most perverse situations have included a couple of females assaulting a male with manginas laughing nearby, but attacking the man the instant he even tries to defend himself. Defending aggressors only feeds into their narcissism, sense of entitlement and feelings of superiority.

      This is what's so funny about feminists, they don't seem to understand that, and whenever you try to argue these points to them, they get furious.
      And I'm saying, for poor crazy manhaters, there are other ways to deal with men who are bothering you and won't go away, aside from the obvious "don't go to a bar," tell him you'll call the cops, and do it. Don't start a fight.

    This is one of the reasons I find it hard to approach women (besides the fact that I lack the confidence to introduce myself to men or women). I always get this feeling that I have to treat women better than I treat myself (a huge turn off for them BTW), and that I'm perverted for even thinking of wanting to have sex with them. These are terrible things to think, and I generally enjoy talking to a lot of women once they've shown themselves to be friendly and not feminazis.

      +Cordelia Enid H It's all due to cultural attitudes. There isn't any actual correlation between a person's sex and how often he or she thinks about sex. In fact, the stereotype that all men always want sex and that all women couldn't care less about it is quite harmful to both sexes, especially men. It's why people don't take female-on-male sexual abuse seriously. There's a video from TheMysteriousMrEnter that talks about this. It's called "Further Thoughts on Peter-Assment" because it's a follow-up to an angry review of a particularly offensive episode of Family Guy that poorly handled the subject. It's well worth watching, even if you don't like angry reviews or cartoons.

Her friends (3 of them) came over and started hitting him...he beat the crap out of all 4, they were arrested for assault and battery, and then they complained about why he wasn't arrested.
    It amazes me that all 4 physically attacked him, but they wanted to go home and for him to go to jail.
    Why don't people understand? She could have had him removed, she could have walked away, she could have told him to go fuck himself...but she thought it was better to assault him physically?

    There are some really racist francophones in Montreal. Lovely place, but the fact that a huge population will get mad at you for using english if you don't know french.

      I'd be upset if people came to America and didnt make an effort to learn English, but demanded i speak their language. Sound a bit familiar?

    • @Sovietnickie
      @Sovietnickie 8 років тому +1

      No, because most of America is English speaking. It would be one thing if it was France where everyone did speak French, but getting mad for someone for only speaking one of the two languages in your province, one of two which 90+% of people in Montreal Speak seems foolish to me. If I went to Montreal and didn't speak french or english that would be one thing, but getting mad at me for knowing only one of the two is foolish.

      A Francophile is someone that has a fondness or strong like for French culture or the language. They just like the language or culture.
      A Francophone is someone that simply can speak French, the language.

    If you use violence on someone, don't expect it not to be returned. I am from the generation that was taught never to hit girls, what I didn't know is that no one told the girls they couldn't hit. I have seen countless situations where a woman has relied on "he wont hit a girl clause" to get away with ridiculous behaviour. The favourite trick was to start shouting at you, so as a male you retreated just in case others heard and assumed you were being aggressive, and occasionally they get a couple of "Knights in shining armour" to step in and dish out the physical beating they wanted, allowing them to walk away without any blame attached to them.Thankfully that tide is turning.

    Yes you’re right I mean idk if it’s the same for everyone but threatening someone with a weapon of any kind like a rake is considered assault even if you don’t actually attack
