    Parents force their children to make false molestation accusations as well, I have a friend who when he was 10 said his father molested him, later after his father killed himself, my friend came out after much therapy and said it was all false. He still feels completely guilty about what happened and his mother refuses to admit she forced him to do it. I'm fairy certain his mom forced him to do it, but that'll never brig his father back.

      First case: a lie is a lie, so what. Do the usual stuff with liars
      Second case, A is convicted innocently: 1-5 years for B

    This all happens because men refuse to punish pernicious poon. Guys are terrified that publicly opposing evil females will result in:
    (1) never getting laid again;
    (2) being beaten by white-knights;
    (3) getting universally mocked as a wimp-misogynist-etc.;
    (4) being fired from jobs by risk-averse corporate cowards; and/or
    (5) having primordial fears of death arise, echoing early feelings that displeasing Mother (once every man's sole source of life) might result in her not feeding/protecting him.
    Guys let anti-guy laws pass. They've done so forever, certainly the past 50 years. They could stop it if they wanted to, but choose not to. I mean, how many of the falsely-accused lacrosse team guys are MRAs now?

      I highly doubt (1) is a priority when facing the potential of spending life in jail. (5) seems like quite the stretch as well, touching on an innate instinct some may relate to yet tying it to a socially learned fear that is entirely unrelated.

    For a rich country, the US legal system looks a joke. Men convicted on unsound evidence and even after an admission of false accusation, there are so many cases where it still takes many more years for the guy to be released. The principle of the British legal system is 'innocent until proven guilty' and only finding guilt when the evidence is 'beyond reasonable doubt'. It might not be perfect but I would sooner trust the British justice compared to the American justice system.

In 2006 the girl recanted to the parole board via a CASA representative and my friend was still required to admit his guilt and do a sex offender program if he wanted parole. He told them to get fucked and every single hearing and appeal he had after was denied. He did every day of his 15 year sentence for a crime he did not commit and was known to authorities that he was not guilty. There is no justice in America. This girl's word was all it took. No physical evidence, no corroboration, nothing. Her word. Watch your backs...

    I have a friend who got "kicked out of her house", thought we doubt that side of the story. She said the best thing she can do is move to uk with her 2 month boyfriend (my good friend). Ontop of it we got a story from her ex-fiance (who she left for her 2 month boyfriend who doesn't even live in the US) that she cheated on her new boyfriend (my friend). I confronted my friend with this and he says that she told him that she was basically raped but both of them have't even got to the police about it. Also supposly on the day she was raped, I talked with her that day (after it happend 100%) and she as SUPER SUPER HAPPY. So most likely, she is lying just so she can hook up with her boyfriend over in UK but if she isn't I still want justice but she refuses to press chargers and now my friend in the UK refuses to talk to me and they are moving in with eachother tomorrow, mind you she doesn't even know how to use a bank account/get on a plane so she had to ask the person who raped her for help. She doesn't have a UK citizen ship and she failed highschool because she kept skipping school (with her ex fiancé who may or may not have raped her). Also she only has less then a hundred dollars and they are moving into my friends parents house. Anyways I figured it shared similarities with this video so...thoughts?

      WhiteTuxMafiaAndFilms Actually I did just think of a better example.
      Have you ever given a homeless person money? Only to see them turn around a buy alcohol or drugs? It can be infuriating. But the point is, we can't have expectations of other people, especially if they are not wanting to help themselves, it will only cause us more grief since it's nothing we really have control over.

      The Crowbar I tried to talk to him about it, but he says he doesn't want me or any of our other friends getting mixed up. Though most of us think its his girlfriend who is making him refuse to talk to us. Like currently as I write this comment I'm playing video games with him and all my other friends but I can't bring up what just happened. I feel like that one ending of the rick and morty episode where he goes home and everyone acts like its nothing while he just completely shell shocked.

    Fuck that. REBOUND the charges when someone falsely accuses another. And none of this 45% more lenient sentences bull shit. Year for fucking year. Then toss on 5 for defamation of character, 5 more for contempt and another 10 for pain and suffering. + restitution/reparations for all lost wages over the time spent in prison. and Maybe make sure their cell mate is an actual convicted rapist?
    Even that is to lenient but as i dont believe in the death penalty, it'll have to suffice for what i can come up with.

    Hofstra University.
    It took me no time at all to come up with false allegations that have lead to the deaths of men falsely accused, as well.
    Thank you for getting the message out that this shit DOES happen, and it shatters lives.

      J Allen I am jealous for being able to do that. I said to Jay GG the same, I am jealous for people who are gay because it would make things so much easier. But I am straight so my choices are limited.

    I agree with you on the criminal prosecution of false accusers. As far as I'm concerned that should fall into the same category as filing a false police report which is a criminal offense.

      ***** Slander/defamation is civil law. The problem with it being civil is it requires the plaintiff (victim) to initiate the action and cover legal costs.
      Criminal law on the other hand is covered by the state. The state will initiate the action and cover the cost of the case. The victim just becomes a witness in the case. There are already laws covering some of this, such as perjury, but they are seldom pursued, because the state doesn't like to take cases where they have a low chance of winning.
