- P1260 is usually a simple Parameter Reset after component replacement. Never underestimate the strange things we find being mobile.

Awesome!
It's MUCH more fun to watch someone who knows what they're doing, than to try it yourself!
Nice find. Our minds alwys tend to go to the extreme conditions. I do the same. Trying to keep things simple. Great video

Hi, Good info. I have a situation maybe you could help me. I have a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer, The check engine is not on,but there is a store code in ECM for P1260, car starts intermittently. I change the cluster, transponder, ignition switch, new keys. I updated the ECM & Cluster with Ford FJDS software. The car recognizes the keys no security lights. Still have the same issue. I notice I am not getting the ground from the ecm to crank the car. It had an alarm system which I disconnect . I also did a parameter reset with ford FJDS & Autel scanner. Please advise. Thank you
Where are you missing the ground from the ecm? Aftermarket alarm?? Disconnected or removed?. If it has a key box or emulator, remove it completely from the car
In the fuse box under the hood, which is coming from the ecm
I removed the alarm completely, that’s the first thing I did
It's impossible to help efficiently without being there. Wish I could be of more help
I understand. Thank you 😊
