Actually, your description of the Pikmin rising up is actually accurate. In the first game they are on the edge of becoming extinct, but by game three they have taken the skills Olimar has given them to become a fully functioning Hunter/Gatherer society and have spread to all parts of the planet.
Yeah, people talk about the Pikmin being “slaves” but it’s obvious they’re not capable of thriving on their own. With olimar’s guidance their numbers increase while he finds a way homex
I always cringe so hard when people call Pikmin “slaves” for this reason, also for the fact that THE PIKMIN ARE SO VERY CLEARLY HELPING OLIMAR BECAUSE THEY WANT TO
I think it's weird that he says "Just Finish It to get the best ending"... in my mind getting the best ending IS completing it, I don't get why he even counted seeing the other 2 endings when you just do less stuff to get them
"But can you blame me?" Yes. Yes, I can. Nature documentaries are awesome and the juxtaposition of a calm documentary narrator with those carnivorous toad things assaulting the diminutive Pikmin was hilarious.
Pikmin was like crack to my little brother, who is now in the army. I wouldn't be surprised if he climbs the ranks fast as hell. He was a ruthless little general
When I was like 4 I for some reason would put the wii remote in my mouth and doing so broke one of my controllers pointer and somehow the A button as well
Oh, Jirard, buddy, now you HAVE to do the second one. There's so much to unlock and little flags for completing areas. It's like three times the game this one is; really it's a terrifying masterpiece. It's harder, longer, and gobbles up your little buddies like killing Pikmin is the hip new thing to do. Give it a few months, then pik up Pikmin 2, I promise you won't regret it.
blomjob15 eh., not harder. I mean, how can it be, you have infinite days and most enemies are weakened. as a big fan I'm shocked everyone still thinks pikmin 2 is better and harder,
Because it's less stressful, the world is more fleshed out with interesting lore, some of the environments are pretty memorable - it's just overall improved in almost every area besides raw difficulty. Pikmin 2 just felt more *fun*. Harder, no - better, I'd say yes.
... you realize that you have to beat the game without losing a single pikmin to 100% it, right? I wouldn't blame him for not doing Pikmin 2. That's a terrifying prospect.
If he liked Pikmin 1 so much... I can't wait for 2 and 3. 2 feels more rewarding and has the scariest boss in the world *coughcoughWaterWraithcoughcough* and 3 has what is arguably the BEST (and most game breaking) type of pikmin and a great multiplayer mode.
What I think is the best part of pikmin is that each death feels so bad since you hear them scream and see their soul flie away. It made me want to play again with less deaths and completing it in less days immediately after completing it for the first time. This challenge of pushing it to the lowest amount of days gives so mich replayability and makes the micro-management so much better than just walking around with 100 Pikmin.
i love pikmin. its such a uniquely weird game. its has a deceptively happy tone that i adore. the music is calm and the aesthetics are cute. but theres also the 30 day limit, the pikmins subtle but brutal death animations, and olimars occasionally somber words at the end of days. this give me the feelings urgency and danger, while also being colorful and relaxing. its a unique vibe, and i adore it.
BTW Jirrard the pikmin are grateful to Olimar as he helped them repopulate and survive The Song Ai No Uta shows they love Olimar for helping them and are aware they will fight carry multiply and be eaten to help Olimar as a favor for saving the Pikmin race. even if it means their lives they will help him as he gave them courage to fight bigger creatures and survive. and they dont even ask for olimars loev. all they wanna do is just help him for helping them hope this mmakes sense to ya :) not slavery but in fact team work and leadership
I find it hilarious how many people think Mario 128 was supposed to be anything more than a tech demo and genuinely believed it was a full game coming soon.
While I know you did Pikmin 1, I can't wait to see Pikmin 2 episode of the Completionist because collecting everything in that game is a bigger hassle (by terms of 100%) than the first game. That being said, I'm happy you did this game!
Pikmin 3 is the best of them all, have stunning visuals, more complex mechanics but that make the game more interesting, 2 new pikmins that are game changers, much better enemies and enviroment variety and an incredible multiplayer mode.
You don't even have to play the game 3 times. Do it once for the best ending, load a save and skip days for the good ending, and load from like day 1 and skip days for the worst
Pikmin 2 is probably the most underrated first party Nintendo game of all. I know people like it; I"m not saying it's underrated becuase it's disliked (it isn't). But people always talk about SSBM, Mario Galaxy, Ocarina of Time, etc... who talks about Pikmin? THEY SHOULD! Pikmin rules!
Easiest (albeit time-consuming) way to see all three endings in-game is by doing this: Get all 29 parts, excluding the final one, and save the game onto two save slots. On one of them, get the final part for the best ending. On the other, skip to Day 30 without doing anything else, getting you the basic good ending. On a new file (or one without all needed parts), skip to Day 30 to get the bad/worst ending. The bonus of the last one is seeing Olimar's reports at the end of the day getting more and more distraught as he knows his demise is quickly approaching. :X Great video, Jirard! Was happy to see it in my sub box!
In a game where the options are "bad ending, okay ending, good ending" it makes perfect sense that if you get the good ending the first time you're not going to want to play through again intentionally doing less stuff and playing less well just to see the other possible endings. That's way different from, say, a Dragon Age game or an otome, where each ending is the result of a truly different story path and you're curious how the story could have gone if you were evil or something.
Huh... never thought of completion being "all endings" for a game like this, where the level of completion in a game determines your ending. If 100% completion for this game would be "all endings" I'd agree.
I'm sure he would hate any game where completing it takes like 1000 hours or more. Imagine the Jirard the Completionist episode of World of Warcraft. He would spend like 50000 hours on that game or more completing everything.
OMG FINALLY! This is my favorite series, I'm so glad you're reviewing it. I really hope you play Pikmin 3. (Ideally you'd play all 3) but the third one gives you more mechanics and more of a story. So you might like it even better.
Pikmin is my favorite Nintendo franchise of all time!! I grew up playing Pikmin 3 and watching Dazz Reviews videos on Pikmin. I LOVE THAT FRANCHISE SO FREAKING MUCH!! The music is so good and goes perfectly with the surroundings.
Pulled out again, we'll follow you alone. Today once again we'll carry, fight, multiply and be consumed. Left alone again, we'll meet again and be thrown around again. But we'll follow you forever. Jirard, I have been with you since Episode 50, please bring back the Spoilers Section for us fans to play games vicariously through you. I know that it hurts your UA-cam views, so why not make a separate video of just that section? It would be short and your financial well-being would not be affected since the main video remains the same. Thanks as always, you rock!
with the time and effort of editing a separate video for something that the majority of his viewers won't watch, all of those resources could be better spent else where. whether that's working toward completing a new game, or just taking a day off for once in his life. there are definitely folks that want that segment back, but if i were in his shoes, i couldn't justify it. i'm in the other camp though where i sort of use his videos as a sort of guide line for games i might enjoy playing. so for me, i'd always skip that segment anyway
That One Video Gamer i wish that would ve been the answer better than the one u gave at the bioshock review... ive been here since the 100 episodes... seen every episode with ads on and saw every spoiler seccion... that hurt... im not one of those people who say kill ur self... im just a fan... im still here... ill be here... but please TRY not to offend people(i know thats impossible )... not easy to offend me... and you did....
Nyghtking It had a very good library of games, even if the hardware itself wasn't ahead of its time. Plus, there weren't all that many horrible games for GC. Personally, I still play mine a fair bit.
WASN'T AHEAD OF ITS TIME?!?!?!? GC accomplishments: -First true wireless controller (there were others before it but let's be honest they don't work) -Almost as powerful as the original Xbox (pretty surprising since we're talking about Nintendo) -Lan Parties GBA/GC connectivity Game Boy Player Progressive Scan (480p) Panasonic-Q (DVD based Gamecube) Faster loading times And way more!
Shoehorned motion controls suck. However, if anyone ever asks "When could a game with a normal control scheme benefit from introduction of motion controls?" I point them at the Wii ports of Metroid Prime 1/2 and Pikmin 1/2. They're PERFECT with the Wiimote.
He said there are two Nintendo franchises he hasn't Covered. Those being Pikmin and Animal Crossing. I was just alluding to the the fact he hasn't covered a Fire Emblem game at all.
Did Jirard say he has plans to 100% Xenoblade, because if you REALLYY want to 100% it, then that means doing every quest, defeating every enemy at least once, getting every armour set, maxing out every characters skill tree, maxing out all the arts to their highest level, obtaining the highest affinity with each of the playable characters, seeing every heart-to-heart, completing the happiest affinities between every named NPC in the game, getting every area affinity up to five stars, completing the entirety of Colony Six, collecting every Gem in the game, collecting every weapon in the game, defeating every unique monster in the game, exploring every location in every area to completely fill in the map of each area, reaching the max level, obtaining every item in the game, and lastly, unlocking every in-game achievement, and I have yet to hear of anyone who has done every single one of those 100%, even Chuggaaconroy didn't do all of that in his LP of Xenoblade Chronicles!
Still waiting on that Metal Gear Solid 2 review, along with several dozen other games. But for the sake of your sanity here are just 10 I'd like you to review. 10. Lollipop Chainsaw 9. a tie between Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 8. Madworld 7. A tie between Devil May Cry I through 4 6. Metroid Fusion 5. Asura's Wrath 4. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories/Re:Chain of Memories 3. The Shantae series (Though I highly recommend the 3rd one; Shantae and the Pirate's Curse) 2. A Re-review of Shovel Knight where you play the Plague Knight story mode, and the Specter Knight story mode 1. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
Also Okami Red Dead Redemption Crypt of the Necrodancer Darksiders 1&2 perfect dark perfect dark zero the evil within the whole Halo series at least the campaign for Titanfall 2 all the monkey balls games (not as perverted as it sounds) the good call of dutys doom 2-2016 earth defense force persona 1-5 the overlord series Dishonored 2 call of jaruez: the cartel saints row 1-4 Fable 1&2 ( beacuse fuck 3) and just for laughs "The Simpsons Game"
I think there's a good amount of replay value, though not for the endings. It's pretty fun to see just how fast you can gather all 30 ship parts with the least amount of casualties. I think the record is like 6 days with no deaths. My personal best is like 12 days with something like 100 deaths, so I'm still far from being perfect. It definitely helps with time management and learning how to keep track of multiple operations simultaneously, something which I think was a bit simplified in the sequels with the extra commanders. Now if only I applied the skills I learned from Pikmin in real life. lol
I've been a fan for a while, but only subscribed recently. I've been a huge fan of your videos, and I really appreciate all the effort and heart you put into your videos. I think these are the only videos I've watched all the way through without pausing that are almost 30 minutes per episode. You somehow keep me interested throughout the entire video, and I really like that. Thank you for putting all this effort and doing this!
Actually, your description of the Pikmin rising up is actually accurate. In the first game they are on the edge of becoming extinct, but by game three they have taken the skills Olimar has given them to become a fully functioning Hunter/Gatherer society and have spread to all parts of the planet.
Starcat5 as well as having taken up a predatory stance to other creatures, as mentioned in pikmin 2 in the piklopedia
That's awesome!
Exept for those onions in pikmin 3 that got trapped.
Yeah, people talk about the Pikmin being “slaves” but it’s obvious they’re not capable of thriving on their own. With olimar’s guidance their numbers increase while he finds a way homex
I always cringe so hard when people call Pikmin “slaves” for this reason, also for the fact that THE PIKMIN ARE SO VERY CLEARLY HELPING OLIMAR BECAUSE THEY WANT TO
"Pikmin isn't giving you anything for completing it... even with the best ending!" Jirard... The better ending IS the reward.
The pikmin are cute bug plant bois.
How dare he
I think it's weird that he says "Just Finish It to get the best ending"... in my mind getting the best ending IS completing it, I don't get why he even counted seeing the other 2 endings when you just do less stuff to get them
Jirard has issues with Animal Crossing, the game series that is designed not to complete? Who woulda thunk it.
"But can you blame me?"
Yes. Yes, I can. Nature documentaries are awesome and the juxtaposition of a calm documentary narrator with those carnivorous toad things assaulting the diminutive Pikmin was hilarious.
Dude when I was like 7 I lost all my pikmin to the mushroom boss and legit started to cry because I was so attached to them
Ciaran Patrick omg me too but to a bomb rock
Do you have to restart the game over again?
there called puffshrooms
dcta51 If you lose every pikmin of 1 type, their onion will produce one more pikmin so you can build the population up again
Same
Pikmin was like crack to my little brother, who is now in the army. I wouldn't be surprised if he climbs the ranks fast as hell. He was a ruthless little general
Just place parts of his helicopter all over the Syrian desert and give him some troops. The Taliban will be dead in no time
This is both the most hilarious and terrifying comment I’ve ever read lmao 😂
Holy shit
It’s not war horns the enemy hears, *it’s a whistle.*
5 years late to seeing this comment and I am crying 😭😭😭
Strictly motion based controls can be hit or miss. Pointer controls, on the other hand, are usually pretty good.
Yes
When I was like 4 I for some reason would put the wii remote in my mouth and doing so broke one of my controllers pointer and somehow the A button as well
"The dark places are bland and boring"
Wonder if you'll say that in Submerged Castle in Pikmin 2
shakes in ptsd
**Vietnam Flashback to the Water Rape**
@Paul Prisbrey it's the same for me
The caves in 🅱️ikmin two sucks, other than submerged castle.
dude i went through it as fast as possible because i literally got nightmares from it
Oh, Jirard, buddy, now you HAVE to do the second one. There's so much to unlock and little flags for completing areas. Water Wraith
... you realize that you have to beat the game without losing a single pikmin to 100% it, right? I wouldn't blame him for not doing Pikmin 2. That's a terrifying prospect.
"Steve got that one"? THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE STEVE AND HE IS THE BEST RED PIKMIN EVER!
Zach Wooden
Chug a for life
Steve is from Minecraft dude.
Still can't believe it took 217 episodes to reach this classic.
TroymyJam it is fan requested majority of the time. No one I've seen has requested pikmin
+Yummy Pancakez ???
We're on 217 episodes!!!
Pikmin 3 Battle is Wii U's best game. If you didn't battle a friend 1,000+ times, you did it wrong.
I need friends to battle with them...
When you talked about how easy it is to get all 30 parts before the last day, I felt personally attacked because I finished on day 30.
"olimar is the 1%!"
oh jirard.... wait till pikmin 2.
For the people who don't get it in pikmin 2 olimar uses the Pikmin to profit the company he works for.
in pikmin 1 he's fighting for his life
in pikmin 2, eh, he's fighting for his family's financial security
Sirinterweb
Close enough
Don't get your hopes up on a Pikmin 2 or 3 review
If he liked Pikmin 1 so much... I can't wait for 2 and 3. 2 feels more rewarding and has the scariest boss in the world *coughcoughWaterWraithcoughcough* and 3 has what is arguably the BEST (and most game breaking) type of pikmin and a great multiplayer mode.
Zolt-Cat he played Pikmin 2, it was on the wii
i don't see how the rock pikmin are more game-breaking than purple pikmin.
Sirinterweb its the winged pikmin that are game breaking, they allow for some crazy sequence breaks.
Louis Wouters
The joke
Your head.
plasm wraith is creepier
Pikmin!! One of my favourite game series ever! I'm so glad you finally got to it! :D
FishyFisher hey Fish! tho you 100% BotW, will there be some more streams of BotW?
FishyFisher hi, I just watched your stream
MAH FISH!!! YOU ARE AMAZING!! STREAM PIKMIN 100%
I hope we do a Splatoon stream
FishyFisher it's the literal first game I played ever
What I think is the best part of pikmin is that each death feels so bad since you hear them scream and see their soul flie away. This challenge of pushing it to the lowest amount of days gives so mich replayability and makes the micro-management so much better than just walking around with 100 Pikmin.
You legit have the most Epic Intro on UA-cam
You watch the completionist? Sick
i love pikmin. its such a uniquely weird game. its has a deceptively happy tone that i adore. the music is calm and the aesthetics are cute. but theres also the 30 day limit, the pikmins subtle but brutal death animations, and olimars occasionally somber words at the end of days. this give me the feelings urgency and danger, while also being colorful and relaxing. its a unique vibe, and i adore it.
YAY! Pikmin! Oh I love that series so much, and I'm glad you enjoyed it too! Would love to see completionists reviews of 2 and 3.
Nice animations btw
p.s. Did you meet STEVE?!?!?! LOL; HE'S A TROOPER, HE CAN CARRY A WHOLE FIRE-BREATHING PIG'S CORPSE ALL BY HIMSELF!!
New3DSLUIGI364 PINHEAD STEVE
BTW Jirrard
the pikmin are grateful to Olimar as he helped them repopulate and survive
The Song Ai No Uta shows they love Olimar for helping them and are aware they will fight carry multiply and be eaten to help Olimar as a favor for saving the Pikmin race.
even if it means their lives they will help him as he gave them courage to fight bigger creatures and survive.
and they dont even ask for olimars loev. all they wanna do is just help him for helping them
hope this mmakes sense to ya :)
not slavery but in fact team work and leadership
The Completionist why do you always have to put a beard in the thumbnail
"there are 2 nintendo games I've put aside.
Pikmin and Animal Crossing."
You forgot fire emblem
And Wario land
@Gabriel Cunado Chang You do realize it's the exact same for Captain Falcon, Ice Climbers, game and watch, and ROB, right?
bionic link ROB was one of the reasons the NES was so successful.
@@andrewscott1153 What point are you proving?
But the first red pikmin IS special, its Steve! :D
Steve is the best !
Ranger Cado Steve is a badass soldier
STEVE IS A TROOPER!!!
Chuggaconroy?
haha yes you my good sir are amazing
"But there are two I haven't really brought up"
OH, SO I GUESS F-ZERO JUST DOESN'T EXIST?
Or Fire emblem or wario or Game and watch?
I guess it's more like nine, then.
Dude, not even Nintendo remembers F-Zero. Cut Jared some slack :P
Even just hearing Ai no Uta in the background makes me tear up years later
I find it hilarious how many people think Mario 128 was supposed to be anything more than a tech demo and genuinely believed it was a full game coming soon.
were they expecting a game involving 128 marios because it would be funny if that happened
While I know you did Pikmin 1, I can't wait to see Pikmin 2 episode of the Completionist because collecting everything in that game is a bigger hassle (by terms of 100%) than the first game. That being said, I'm happy you did this game!
I'm definitely looking forward to them now!
+Chewwy And he's gonna have *fun* with the maze in Pikmin 3
SO MUCH *FUN*
UltaKi _ 2 was probably the best of the three games
Chewwy thing about submerged castle, it makes you so scared of that boss, only for it to be a total pushover when you actually fight it
Pikmin 3 is the best of them all, have stunning visuals, more complex mechanics but that make the game more interesting, 2 new pikmins that are game changers, much better enemies and enviroment variety and an incredible multiplayer mode.
“I’m Old AND IM SCARED OF DOLLS!”
Hey Me Too...
I clicked on this inhumanly fast when I saw the title. I've been waiting for this video for too long.
6:58 Somewhere, Chuggaaconroy just cringed...
hey is Steve the trooper the red pikmin #Stevethetrooper
STEVE?! STEVE IS A TROOPER!? lol aaaah Chugga Conroy...
You don't even have to play the game 3 times. Do it once for the best ending, load a save and skip days for the good ending, and load from like day 1 and skip days for the worst
my entire life has culminated up to this very moment, thank you jirard
What's next on your list? lol
pikmin two :)
Sorry Jirard but you gotta play them all!
NO not that one!
GET OUT!
ha, culminated, nature joke...
Jirard: hocotatai

YES ITS ABOUT TIME! But really I'm so glad you finally completed it

Pikmin rules!

hehe
Brandon Roberts good job. Good job
"Two series I haven't really approached"
Ooooooh, he's acknowledging Punch-Out, isn't he! Yeah! The hype is real! It's coming! Brett mode activate!
"Animal Crossing"
And it's over.
Next up: Breath of the Wild!
Easiest (albeit time-consuming) way to see all three endings in-game is by doing this:
Get all 29 parts, excluding the final one, and save the game onto two save slots. :X
Great video, Jirard! Was happy to see it in my sub box!
Oh man, I've been waiting for Pikmin. BUT FIRE EMBLEM WHEN JIRARD?
Bobby Bozeman the third Nintendo game he never went into
Your only hint is: this year
That One Video Gamer that's good enough for me! I'm super excited now. Can't wait to see which game you play first!
oh boy
That One Video Gamer khi
I can still to this day remember Louie's reaction to when he first saw a pikmin. Man almost shit his pants and tried to run away.

Thalins Genohan You know what they say : "Pick em, pick em, booty lick em !"
-Shigeru Myamoto
When Nintendo released the port of lik in to the switch I was able to finally 100% that game and it is a lot of fun
YES!!!! I've been wanting this review since I started watching you! Thank you so much!!!
The pleasure was all mine!
So Olimar is king Leapold II of Belgium and this is Africa, yes?
This is one of those games that you have to play to know its appeal. Unique games with unique gameplay, and very addicting.
Game is short and fairly easy... Just wait for pikmin 2
Derpol the waterwraith yo
It's short because it's made for multiple playthroughs where you get better and faster each time. Pikmin 1 is still the best imo for that reason
Huh... never thought of completion being "all endings" for a game like this, where the level of completion in a game determines your ending.
If 100% completion for this game would be "all endings" I'd agree.
This guy doesn't like Animal Crossing?

He's the completionist. Completing those are painful
hehe

I'm sure he would hate any game where completing it takes like 1000 hours or more. Imagine the Jirard the Completionist episode of World of Warcraft. He would spend like 50000 hours on that game or more completing everything.
Holy, I love pikmin !! The music, the game, the puzzle, everything !!! Glad I found this video
Jirard is bae

It would be short and your financial well-being would not be affected since the main video remains the same. Thanks as always, you rock!
BoSoxGuill yes please I love dat section
It just doesn't work with our current youtube algorithm situation. And since ad-sense is so low lately, we can't afford to take any risks.
with the time and effort of editing a separate video for something that the majority of his viewers won't watch, all of those resources could be better spent else where. whether that's working toward completing a new game, or just taking a day off for once in his life. there are definitely folks that want that segment back, but if i were in his shoes, i couldn't justify it. i'm in the other camp though where i sort of use his videos as a sort of guide line for games i might enjoy playing. so for me, i'd always skip that segment anyway

Pikmin! I'm so glad you got around to covering this one. Way to collect all the treasures in just 13 days, too! That's impressive if you ask me.
ANIMAL CROSSING SWITCH!!! WE NEED IT NOW!
I'm from the future. Animal Crossing Switch is happening!
YOU SHOULD THE SECOND AND THIRD PIKMIN GAMES!! Pikmin is one of favorite game series and I love watching people talk about it.
Jesus its already been a year since this video... time flys hella fast
Pikmin is my very first home console game I've ever played and I still think of it as my favorite gamecube game
Steve?
Steve is a trooper
I never considered myself a gamer but pikmin is so nostalgic to me and it makes me remember playing Mario and pikmin with my childhood friend
My reaction was exactly the same as his and I actually want to play it now
PBG's playthroug of this game is the best one you could ever find
Finally !
Captain olimar is literally the best Nintendo character in terms of development, design, and personality.
I miss the game cube a little bit, I think it was a decent system.
Nyghtking It had a very good library of games, even if the hardware itself wasn't ahead of its time. Plus, there weren't all that many horrible games for GC. Personally, I still play mine a fair bit.
Randomness 10150 - I would play mine but I haven't had it for years, can't really remember what happened to it.
WASN'T AHEAD OF ITS TIME?!?!?!?
GC accomplishments:
-First true wireless controller (there were others before it but let's be honest they don't work)
-Almost as powerful as the original Xbox (pretty surprising since we're talking about Nintendo)
-Lan Parties
GBA/GC connectivity
Game Boy Player
Progressive Scan (480p)
Panasonic-Q (DVD based Gamecube)
Faster loading times
And way more!
Awh this review is like the game, short sweet and charming. Jirard needed this short and sweet game in between buff bois
WOOOOO!!! Finally!!
This was my childhood!
Shoehorned motion controls suck. However, if anyone ever asks "When could a game with a normal control scheme benefit from introduction of motion controls?" I point them at the Wii ports of Metroid Prime 1/2 and Pikmin 1/2. They're PERFECT with the Wiimote.
Damn, Jirard doeesn't like animal crossing? I mean i can kinda see it from a completionist's point of view, but it's a great casual timewaster.
Perhaps the mobile version coming out will change my mind!
Awesome! Glad to hear it man!
"You will never forget this creature again for the rest of your life!"
I forgot about that creature until you mentioned it
hey jirard when can Chuggaaconroy guest star with you
I love how in the 1st Pikmin game, something they trip and are left behind
**cough** **cough** Fire Emblem **cough**
Which one?
He said there are two Nintendo franchises he hasn't Covered. Those being Pikmin and Animal Crossing. I was just alluding to the the fact he hasn't covered a Fire Emblem game at all.
I hope it's Path of Radiance, that one is my favorite.
that one is definitely up there for me, though i think sacred stone is my favorite.
Depending on what you'd consider 100% in Fire Emblem, though...
Getting *all* of the support conversations? Oh god.
Pikmin is my absolute favorite franchise. I implore all of you to try it out. Very, very underrated.
You should have invited Chuggaconroy
IKR
wwwwwooooolllllllllyyyyyywwwwaaaagggg
STEVE
I concur.
Did Jirard say he has plans to 100% Xenoblade, because if you REALLYY want to 100% it, then that means doing every quest, defeating every enemy at least once, getting every armour set, maxing out every characters skill tree, maxing out all the arts to their highest level, obtaining the highest affinity with each of the playable characters, seeing every heart-to-heart, completing the happiest affinities between every named NPC in the game, getting every area affinity up to five stars, completing the entirety of Colony Six, collecting every Gem in the game, collecting every weapon in the game, defeating every unique monster in the game, exploring every location in every area to completely fill in the map of each area, reaching the max level, obtaining every item in the game, and lastly, unlocking every in-game achievement, and I have yet to hear of anyone who has done every single one of those 100%, even Chuggaaconroy didn't do all of that in his LP of Xenoblade Chronicles!
can't wait for Pikmin 2 or 3 video! especially since we know Jirad has played Pikmin 3 once before with Chuggaaconroy
he don't like animal crossing because it would shit on him completion wise. speed runners can do it in a few hrs tho he mad...
god the motion controls make this one of the best wii games out there

BRUH. THe motion controls are EASILY better than the gamecube/Gamepad controls, in that you can ACTUALLY AIM
Taylor Langlois only the swarming with c-stick was better on gamecube
I think there's a good amount of replay value, though not for the endings. It's pretty fun to see just how fast you can gather all 30 ship parts with the least amount of casualties. I think the record is like 6 days with no deaths. My personal best is like 12 days with something like 100 deaths, so I'm still far from being perfect. It definitely helps with time management and learning how to keep track of multiple operations simultaneously, something which I think was a bit simplified in the sequels with the extra commanders. Now if only I applied the skills I learned from Pikmin in real life. lol
I would like to see Eternal Darkness Sanity's Requiem
Mr.Dirahmer that game is amazing
I'd play the game not for the bonuses or the endings, but just for the fricking gameplay. Heck, that's what a real good game is all about.
Lmao, I just entered my comment when he said "I don't know why that is"
MAI BOI OLIMAR
That intro was the business!
YAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS JIRARD YOUR AWESOME
Favorite game growing up
Personally I like 2 more then 1 and 3 but that's just me
Animal crossing isn't a game.
Animal crossing is a drug that will take over your life slowly but surely.
I'm an Animal Crossing fan and I can confirm this.
Pikmin was great back then and these kind of nature documentaries are still common in Europe and Japan
Does normal boots still exist
I've been a fan for a while, but only subscribed recently. I've been a huge fan of your videos, and I really appreciate all the effort and heart you put into your videos. I think these are the only videos I've watched all the way through without pausing that are almost 30 minutes per episode. You somehow keep me interested throughout the entire video, and I really like that. Thank you for putting all this effort and doing this!
