As someone who started with 3 and then played 1, it feels so much more finnicky to control. The Pikmin don't have good AI (they've thrown bomb rocks at Dwarf Bulborbs instead of the larger ones, they can't navigate decently wide spaces, they get stuck on corners, etc) and to switch between them you have to grab one, press the right bumper until you reach the right one, and then throw it. Repeat this for however many Pikmin you need to throw, which can sometimes reach in the 30s. I've been stressed out throughout this entire week. This video, despite coming from a franchise I'm not particularly passionate towards, really helped me. It's just nice seeing James talk about stuff he really likes
My only issue is you didn’t talk about the characters that much, since before you start each area you can check in to learn more about them and how the reflected on the previous days, especially when the acknowledged many plot points, the fact that Louie proves Hocatatians aren’t that picky, how much of a troll Brittany can be to the good hearted Alph, and the goofy Captain Charlie, and even the fact that it changed based on what happens in the previous days and how you were doing.
Exactly. When he said he doesn't think anyone likes the trio being less compelling than olimar and louie I just had to see if anyone else felt differently about them. I honestly really don't like olimar and louie. I started with pikmin 3 so I may be biased, but the trio always felt so personable and well rounded.
Pikmin and Animal Crossing have been my favourites since I was a kid, they’re both so charming and have so much personality. I’m so unbelievably excited for Pikmin 4 in a few weeks
It's crazy how good and full of charm the series is. Even though I hate Pikmin's jankness and not enjoying some of the caves in 2, it's just such a nice relaxing chill feeling. Like yeah you just lost all the pikmin in your party but it still clicks to just try it again instead of throwing yourself at them time and time again. Can't wait for 4 to come out, god that demo was incredible.
The fact the I just finished watching a near 40 minute analysis video about a game or series for that matter that I’ve never played, I was surprisingly shocked that I was so entertained and never bored during the entirety of it.This perfectly shows how great of a creater Schaff really is and it really shows how a reviewer/analyst on UA-cam really should be.
20:27 - Another case of Difficulty options being misleading. As the "Hard" difficulty is like 99% the same as the Wii U version was. Which makes "Normal" more of an "Easy" mode, while "Ultra-Spicy" is "Hard". They breakdown like this: "Normal" = More time per day*, Most enemies have less HP, Captains have more HP, Pikmin have much more time to flail in the water before drowning & the Garden of Hope has _a bunch_ of Nectar Eggs. (* It's more time than any other day in the series too, even Pikmin 4.) "Hard" = Wii U difficulty (but with _a few_ more Nectar Eggs in the Garden of Hope). "Ultra-Spicy" = Juice gained is cut in 1/2, some enemies have more HP, Pikmin limited to 60 in the field, Time Pikmin can spend in the water before drowning in cut in 1/2 (compared to "hard") and there _aren't any_ Nectar Eggs in the Garden of Hope (just like the Wii U version). Also, if you play on "Normal" then any Data File you find will be displayed when you collect it, while playing on "Hard" or "Ultra-Spicy" it'll only pull up a few specific ones when collected.
I’ve definitely replayed Pikmin 3 more than any other game. The second I finish the game, I always delete my save file and start all over again. It’s just so addicting and never gets old
Literally screamed LETS GOOOOO when I saw this video I’ve had a Pikmin addiction for the last few weeks since your Pikmin 2 video got me into the series.

4’s more like 2 for sure, so he’ll likely think it’s better than 2 and worse than 3. I think so far it combines the best aspects of both though, with the controls being the only real downgrade compared to 2 and 3 so far

Thank you Schaf for talking about this absolutely golden franchise. Us Pikmin fans are so lonely with hardly any big creators loving and ACTUALLY talking about Pikmin. Thank you.
Schaffrillas, you got me into this wonderful series! In your games of 2020 ranking, you said Pikmin 3 had a demo. I checked it out and enjoyed it enough to ask for the game for Christmas. It’s now in my top 5 games of all time. Thanks!
Pikmin 3 is still my favorite (even after Pikmin 4 came out). In my opinion, it has the best boss fights which feel very cinematic, the soundtrack is amazing, and the level design is gorgeous!
4 is my new favorite, but I like how unique 3 is. While 3 is very goal oriented and linear, 4 is very open. You can beat the game with only the red onion.
I’m glad the latest entry in a series is considered the best by so many people, it’s great to see the direction where the series is going and what it may mean for Pikmin 4.
@@GeoDeo the art direction is weird and the game is way too easy and lacks depth. The go here function is nice but its far from necessary. I dont think it really changed things up enough for how long it took to come out.
There's a reason why it's one of my favourite games of all time! It brought me so much joy as a kid and still nowadays as I am finally replaying it after years ahead of Pikmin 4!
Pikmin 3 is simultaneously my favorite and least favorite in the series. The Campaign is my least favorite of the 3 because of its linearity and how overly forgiving it is with its difficulty, especially with how much they toned down in Deluxe. Even the "ultra-spicy" mode is basically as hard as the Wii U version just with a max pikmin limit and slightly more dangerous elemental hazards. It's great for newcomers but I'm always dissapointed as a veteran with how much deluxe streamlines and simplifies even from the Wii U version. Winged pikmin also kind of just break the game with how they let you skip a most of the more complicated puzzles (Just lock on and charge). However, the mission mode is honestly peak Pikmin gameplay with how much it pushes multi-tasking and time efficiency. The campaign feels more like an overly long tutorial for mission mode which I just find to be way more satisfying, even with Deluxe's reduced difficulty.
You should do a ranking of the best picture winners from each decade. Mostly because I want to hear your opinion about Gladiator, my favourite film of all time.
Pikmin 3 is my favorite, too! Also, I'm a big fan of Alph, Brittany, and Charlie actually. You're right that they don't have a lot of background about families and whatnot like Olimar did, but I think they make up for it in other ways. For instance, I like how they each have a unique role on the ship, with Charlie as the captain, Alph as the engineer, and Brittany as the botanist. It makes for a neat team dynamic and I'm glad Pikmin 4 is doing the same. And they all have fun little quirks as well that set them apart from other characters in the series. Like Charlie's rubber duckie and crush on Brittany as well as genuinely being a good captain rather than going the predictable route with him. Brittany's gluttony and bossy attitude towards Alph and Charlie. And Alph's timid and unsure attempts to be cooler than he is, like when he gives himself a nickname that Brittany shoots down.
Even though he’s still going through a rough period of his life, I’m glad he’s still dedicated to entertaining us with his content. True dedication right there!
Actually winged Pikmin are pretty good at combat, it's just more nuanced. They are good at charging eye stacks, tall enemies AND they are good at taking out the giant boss where you rescue Louie again, because if you charge the boss's head at the right time they can easily swarm and avoid the tongue.
I was like 5 years old when Pikmin 3 first came out on Wii U so I never even came close to beating it BUT I adore Pikmin and my brother and I spent so much time doing the Fortress of Festivity mission, that level really is peak gameplay. Also the little short films released with Pikmin 3?? Those are the cutest thing, so nostalgic for me
I still think it's weird how the multiplayer didn't have all 3 of the captains from 2. Like, why not put in the full even number, especially since the main game is so focused on using all 3 captains at once? It would really put the two opponents to the test to see who can really multitask like in the base game.
I recently jumped into the series when they released 1 and 2 on the switch and OMG I cannot stress enough how wonderfully charming and delightful these games are, especially 3. I think the Piklopedia alone is one of the greatest additions to the series alone just for the work it does for the world-building and honestly I think the fact it WASN'T mentioned here for 3 Deluxe is a little bit of a crime.
Honestly the caves were my favorite thing about pikmin, the time thing stresses me out so glad caves are back but 2 is also my fav out of all of them and hope caves are a big part of 4
Pikmin 3 Is my favorite as well! its incredibly polished and feels VERY great to just beat it as fast as possible and makes me want to just play it again and again. the multitasking with 3 captains is what makes this so incredibly smooth. i can understand where pikmin 2 stans come from though, i as well like the difficulty and very scary bosses from pikmin 2 really makes even the greatest pikmin players lose a couple pikmin occasionaly. and while pikmin 1 is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, pikmin 3 beats it at replayability and speedrunning, and pikmin 2 beats it in difficulty, its still a very good mix but it just doesn't hold up to the others, i feel it can only be your favorite if you wear your nostalgia glasses. Pikmin 4 is looking great and i can't wait to play!
I agree on winged Pikmin being the best. They're so freaking cute when they carry things. Even with the lesser speed they're better for carrying things in general.
If anyone is curious about those two images of Tamatoa with the weird alterations, that was apart of a contest o nthe Schaffrilas subreddit where we had to pitch ideas on how to ruin Tamatoa. My suggestion was the celebrating tuna history month necklace.
I recently rewatched the other 2 videos and I was patiently waiting for this one. Thank you for giving me a proper, true conclusion to this series. what do you mean theres a 4th one AAAAAA
4:01 yeah watching the juice being poured into the bottles and mixing with the other juices was the coolest part of the game imo, choppy as hell when it came up but still so damn cool.
Bingo battles are the one of best thing to happen in Pikmin. So many hilarious moments with the cherries and fights over the objects. Such a shame no online on deluxe. Dandori battles and mission in 4 looks good too, only downside are the smaller and less varied maps compared to 3 (that I’ve seen so far, avoiding spoilers)
I won't spoil much but the demo allows you to explore the first map and you can easily spend 10 hours in the first area alone. The overworld is kinda simple but the caves are insanely deep. Not Pikmin 2 deep but more captain toad complex deep.
Pikmin is probably the game series with my favorite creature designs - all the enemies. Their visuals and names are so creative, whimsical, charming, and suit the tone and setting of the games PERFECTLY. One of my favorite parts of any of the games is seeing the new enemies and their names.
pikmin 4 is the most hyped game release in my family- we have already planned a game binge the weekend it comes out where we all asked off work and we're gonna get pizza and snacks and just spend time together in this lovely world
The reason why I love 3 is the same reason I love 1, the push to improve time. Thanks to having the same level layout every time upon restart (Unlike a *CERTAIN* black sheep) 3 and 1 practically *beg* you to replay and improve your time! To plan ahead, to create new routes, to get more than one macguffin a day, they're SO replayable! I _do_ prefer 1 over 3 though, since 1 is very much shorter than 3; jank included, lol. But, I can absolutely understand why 3 would be the best (until 4 comes out that is)
I'm enjoying Pikmin 2 alot more but I GRINDED that pikmin 3 challenge in the demo to the max. I love the time mechanic but it's just really bad when there's jank involved. I would honestly love to love pikmin 1 but that jank can really make or break the game for you. Hoping pikmin 4 has a good time mechanic mode for the story. Maybe different endings or scores?
My biggest issue with Pikmin 3 is the overall area design. Having three playable captains that can all move autonomously means you can cover waaaay more ground in a single day. As a result, each level is padded with a dozen winding pathways that don't connect or intersect, along with an obnoxious anount of broken bridges and destructible walls just to slow down progression.
I played Pikmin 3 in middle school so I might be biased but I think Pikmin 3 starts better than 4. And also looking at the *JUICE* motivated me more than anything.
As a diehard pikmin 2 enjoyer I do love the sense of management and creativity when it comes to planning days in 3 with the 3 captains. Still prefer 2’s combat focus but totally get why 3 would be a favorite.
Glad to see you're talking about this game in full. As much as I love the first 2, 3 has always stood out as the most refined, fun and interesting of the Pikmin games. Has its flaws but it's a masterpiece. I finished the Pikmin 4 demo and while I like it, I also see it going in a different direction than the rest of the series; not bad, mind you, but definitely not my favourite. I think 3 will keep the crown
As someone who's only known about Olimar/Alph from Smash Bro's and your Videos I wanna say that Pikmin 3 has been one of my favorite games ive played this year. I picked it up this month after I beat TOTK and it immidently hooked me- I was worried about how to play the game but once I unlocked Brittney all of it kinda clicked for me. Honestly Im probally gonna play Pikmin 4 on its release date and when I have the time go back and try out 1 & 2 when I have the time. So i wanna say thank you for properly introducing me to the series as a whole schaff and for making a Fan out of me.
What percentage did you get before it ended? I manage to hit 50% before it crossed the thresehold and got ice pikmin. Not even for the blue onion but was going to get enough ready.
@@NrettG given how the entire map is seeming finished already, it might be possible to sit on 1550/1600 or something, and then do the rest of the map on the very next day for a 100% first area completion
@@darkness74185 What I've learned is to open the map as MUCH as possible then in one day do everything back to back since cave's only take an in-game hour of time. It should be possible if you do the cheapest return caves first and send all your pikmin to get all the treasures while you cave explore. The only tricky one is the ice pikmin and trying to make even more of them.
Y’know Schafrillas, your Majora’s Mask video was what got me into your content back into the pandemic and I’ve loved keeping up with it all ever since. After rewatching it though it got me thinking whether or not you’ve played the game Tunic, and if so what your thoughts might be. Never before have I felt such a sense of wonder and exploration and discovery while playing a game, and I feel like it’s one you would really enjoy.
I just found this channel while browsing for movie reviews, loved every one I've seen so far. Imagine my surprise when I come across a review on a game from the franchise that defined my entire childhood! Love it! I'm eagerly awaiting the pikmin 4 review!
I never played Pikmin growing up, but after watching Arlo videos on it I decided try out 3 since it was on the Switch. I played the demo 3 times and told my brother we had to get this game. I did not expect to fall in love with this game as much as I did, I've played it half a dozen times and I've replayed the challenge missions over and over to get the best time I could. I even beat the story on a minimum death challenge with like 14 deaths total I think!
Pikmin 2 is still my favorite, because when I played Pikmin 1 as a kid, I was so obsessed with just killing everything on the map and mass producing Pikmin I ran out of days. 😅 In Pikmin 2, I could do that _and_ collect treasures with funny names!
the coop for the main story is definitely where my love for pikmin is from, my younger (and much smarter) brother wanted to try it out so he showed me the game and oh my god it was so fun. working together on opposite sides of the map was just so good, he is much better at planning ahead but collecting fruit and battling guys with my smaller guys was so satisfying. i really hope pikmin 4 has coop too, so i can spend more time with my brother without relying on the bingo (we stopped playing because i was very good at stealing the fruits he needed lmao)
Fun fact: the wings do have a moment to shine in the plasm wraith fight! They can attack it when it flies up in the air trying to stab pikmin to bring it down early.
It's great to heard how great the missions were from someone who was addicted ti Bingo Battle with a friend of mine in high school. There's no feeling like trying to complete your bingo until your opponent gets a cherry and rocks fall, everymin dies.
Alph is kinda bland but the dynamic of charlie n brittany is really f@cking funny. Brittany straight up trolls the fuck out of charlie. Charlie himself is just great. His rubber ducky went AWOL. Funniest shit.
As of now I’ve played the Demo of 4 like 5 times practicing since I hadn’t played in a good while and, with the demo cutting off at 1500 sparklium collected and day end, I’ve gotten a playthrough where I got every onion, treasure, castaway, and beaten every dungeon 100% except whatever is held by the area 1 boss. With what I’ve experienced so far, 4 feels like it’s going to be 3 but even more and better which has me so astronomically excited. Only a couple weeks left before we can fully dive in!
Fairy Pikmin are also balanced out by being the slowest Pikmin, or second slowest if the purples are in play. Seriously if you don’t have significant terrain obstacles for the fairies to fly over it’s faster to send any other type. If the obstacle is a straight water path blues outclass pinks. By contrast whites have the highest foot speed. Also I love how beautiful the upgraded multicolor onions are. Also I agree the treasure hunt missions are the best part of the game.
I cannot tell you the amount of times I played the Pikmin 3 Mission Mode Collect Treasure levels on Co-Op with my older sister. She's not even particularly a huge gamer yet the number of times we went for the perfect scores is STAGGERING
''Blue well utilized in 3'' What? To complete the game you need to use them ONCE when Louie steals your supplies and you need to open the gate towards the Mireclops. And for 100% there's like 3 underwater treasures. Blues got it dirty in this one with flying overshadowing them hard.
The worst part of Pikmin 3 is that the new characters unknowingly insult Olimar by confusing him with the absolute villain that is Louie.

I never even knew what Pikmin was but now thanks to this video I’ve become a pikmin myself, thank you Schaff
Wait, you’ve become a Pikmin?
My condolences for not being able to beat it in under thirty days.

the amount of pikmin content lately has been amazing 😭
We Pikmin fans are finally eating
Pikmin will forever be the MOST special game series to me. No matter how addicted I become to new games, I'll always love Pikmin the most.
Pikmin and Animal Crossing have been my favourites since I was a kid, they’re both so charming and have so much personality. I’m so unbelievably excited for Pikmin 4 in a few weeks
women are temporary, but picking men is forever
It's crazy how good and full of charm the series is. Even though I hate Pikmin's jankness and not enjoying some of the caves in 2, it's just such a nice relaxing chill feeling. Like yeah you just lost all the pikmin in your party but it still clicks to just try it again instead of throwing yourself at them time and time again. Can't wait for 4 to come out, god that demo was incredible.
@@yololthepikminenjoyeri love this comment so much this is hilarious
Pikmin and starfey are my comfort games. With a little mario and animal crossing thrown in
The fact the I just finished watching a near 40 minute analysis video about a game or series for that matter that I’ve never played, I was surprisingly shocked that I was so entertained and never bored during the entirety of it.This perfectly shows how great of a creater Schaff really is and it really shows how a reviewer/analyst on UA-cam really should be.
Go buy the pikmin trilogy they are really really really good i havent played 4 yet oops
20:27 - Another case of Difficulty options being misleading.
As the "Hard" difficulty is like 99% the same as the Wii U version was.
Which makes "Normal" more of an "Easy" mode, while "Ultra-Spicy" is "Hard".
They breakdown like this:
"Normal" = More time per day*, Most enemies have less HP, Captains have more HP,
Pikmin have much more time to flail in the water before drowning & the Garden of Hope has _a bunch_ of Nectar Eggs.
(* It's more time than any other day in the series too, even Pikmin 4.)
"Hard" = Wii U difficulty (but with _a few_ more Nectar Eggs in the Garden of Hope).
"Ultra-Spicy" = Juice gained is cut in 1/2, some enemies have more HP, Pikmin limited to 60 in the field,
Time Pikmin can spend in the water before drowning in cut in 1/2 (compared to "hard")
and there _aren't any_ Nectar Eggs in the Garden of Hope (just like the Wii U version).
Also, if you play on "Normal" then any Data File you find will be displayed when you collect it,
while playing on "Hard" or "Ultra-Spicy" it'll only pull up a few specific ones when collected.
Now it’s “Why Pikmin 3 is my Second Favorite”
_Pikmin 3_ is peak, alright. The story is really good, the gameplay is fun and smooth, the new pikmin are awesome, and the mission modes are so addictive. This video dropped at such a perfect time, too. I can't eait to see what he thinks of the 4th one.
Well 4 is more like 2 than 1 or 3, so...
@@Scuuurbsperhaps, but everyone is saying it's great, so I'm holding out hope.
4’s more like 2 for sure, so he’ll likely think it’s better than 2 and worse than 3. I think so far it combines the best aspects of both though, with the controls being the only real downgrade compared to 2 and 3 so far
@@IceBlueLugiatbf it’s just autolock

Thank you Schaf for talking about this absolutely golden franchise. Us Pikmin fans are so lonely with hardly any big creators loving and ACTUALLY talking about Pikmin. Thank you.
Arlo: Am I a joke to you?
dude hasn't heard of arlo
I am glad more people are fond of Pikmin franchise, no matter how old or young they are.
also scruffy's pikmin videos are great
The pure passion you put in these pikmin videos is inspiring, 4 will be my introduction to the franchise and these videos have got me very excited.
@@OreganoParsleymy fav is 2 as i like the challange. Four is great too, but three i def my second fav.
I’m glad the latest entry in a series is considered the best by so many people, it’s great to see the direction where the series is going and what it may mean for Pikmin 4.
Weird though because pikmin 3 is by far the worst one in the mainline series
@@sargin1 yeah i agree, the best is 1 or 2 depending on what you like in your pikmin games (4 will be the new best i am almost sure)
@@sargin1no it’s not, it refined everything that the previous two put out while also changing things up
@@GeoDeo the art direction is weird and the game is way too easy and lacks depth. The go here function is nice but its far from necessary. I dont think it really changed things up enough for how long it took to come out.
@@marioluigibros.8176 100%. Pikmin 4 seems to be giving every type of fan what they want. I cant wait lol.
There's a reason why it's one of my favourite games of all time! It brought me so much joy as a kid and still nowadays as I am finally replaying it after years ahead of Pikmin 4!
2:19 and Louie eating the golden Pik Pik carrots was the reason koppai suffered Said famine
I agree, I’ve replayed the missions a lot more than the campaign. I enjoy finding new ways of beating my previous record.
Genuinely can’t believe it’s been a decade since last home console pikmin game.
Rock pikmin new animation in pikmin 4 are so adorable
You should do a ranking of the best picture winners from each decade. Mostly because I want to hear your opinion about Gladiator, my favourite film of all time.
“All the Wii U had at the time (July/August 2013) was just Pikmin 3.”
Nintendo Land, NSMBU, Epic Mickey 2, and Game & Wario: Are we a joke to you?
yes other then my boi nintendo land
I really enjoy the linear style of mins, plus the adjustable time constraint based off of progress is nice.
Charlie is just the silliest yet sweetest lad alive, not to mention how lovable the rubber ducky is.
Even though he’s still going through a rough period of his life, I’m glad he’s still dedicated to entertaining us with his content.
True dedication right there!
His videos are probably one of the few things keeping him satisfied and content.
Things are absolutely looking bright
Actually winged Pikmin are pretty good at combat, it's just more nuanced.
They are good at charging eye stacks, tall enemies AND they are good at taking out the giant boss where you rescue Louie again, because if you charge the boss's head at the right time they can easily swarm and avoid the tongue.
I’ll have to keep that in mind next time I replay Pikmin 3!
After seeing all your tweets for Pikmin I’m not even surprised that this happened. Can’t wait to watch this video 😊
Those are the cutest thing, so nostalgic for me
I just recently replayed Pikmin 3 this week, and man, it is still so good!
I can’t count how many time I’ve completed story mode. I am obsessed with collecting all the fruit
I still think it's weird how the multiplayer didn't have all 3 of the captains from 2. Like, why not put in the full even number, especially since the main game is so focused on using all 3 captains at once? It would really put the two opponents to the test to see who can really multitask like in the base game.
Pikmin 2 is not canon.
@@ramonandrajo6348bruh what? Then why is louie here?
@@appelofdoom8211 Comic relief.
Definitely peakmin content.
Also Schaffrillas you have to cover Nimona, such a great animated film

Even with the lesser speed they're better for carrying things in general.
as a Pikmin fan these videos open the series up to so many people who don't even know what a "Pikmin" even is and I'm so happy for it.
I have literally been announcing the amount of days remaining until Pikmin 4 comes out to my family and I’m pretty sure they’re sick of it.😅
If anyone is curious about those two images of Tamatoa with the weird alterations, that was apart of a contest o nthe Schaffrilas subreddit where we had to pitch ideas on how to ruin Tamatoa. My suggestion was the celebrating tuna history month necklace.
4:40 is the best part, Louie went Kablooie.
I recently rewatched the other 2 videos and I was patiently waiting for this one.
Thank you for giving me a proper, true conclusion to this series.
what do you mean theres a 4th one AAAAAA
I really love how 3 fixed all the jank from 1 and 2. It was really frustrating when pikmin died from being under a bridge while its being constructed.
I honestly don't remember experiencing this, it sounds very specific to be common. When do you have Pikmin under a bridge being built?
@@GoldenLeafsMovies Pikmin will sometimes fall under the bridge when building it then they will die when its being constructed over them
2 fixes the jank of 1, has the charm of 1 and also has challenge so it clears
@@toooydoeur The bridge glitch is still in 2
@@toooydoeurplease stop spamming, we get it, you worship 2 like a god. Shut up now.
Been waiting for this one! I absolutely loved Pikmin 3
pikmin 4 is the most hyped game release in my family- we have already planned a game binge the weekend it comes out where we all asked off work and we're gonna get pizza and snacks and just spend time together in this lovely world
I don't want to ruin this for ya.. but I got bad news for ya about co-op.
we don't even play co op. we just switch off levels- but co op mode does kinda suck :/
Actually playing Pikmin 3 at the moment!
I love this game.
Pikmin 2 is not canon.
Looking forward to Pikmin 4! So far it seems to be like an amalgamation of the previous 3.
I've been playing the Pikmin 4 demo for 7 hours its so GOOD.
"It's the TF2 of Pikmin" Lmao
I just found this channel while browsing for movie reviews, loved every one I've seen so far. Imagine my surprise when I come across a review on a game from the franchise that defined my entire childhood! Love it! I'm eagerly awaiting the pikmin 4 review!
Just hearing the Pikmin 3 music is so NOSTALGIC
In Pikmin 2, I could do that _and_ collect treasures with funny names!
the coop for the main story is definitely where my love for pikmin is from, my younger (and much smarter) brother wanted to try it out so he showed me the game and oh my god it was so fun. working together on opposite sides of the map was just so good, he is much better at planning ahead but collecting fruit and battling guys with my smaller guys was so satisfying. i really hope pikmin 4 has coop too, so i can spend more time with my brother without relying on the bingo (we stopped playing because i was very good at stealing the fruits he needed lmao)
I have strong feeling (and hope) that Pikmin 4 is a Game of The year contender
Fun fact: the wings do have a moment to shine in the plasm wraith fight! They can attack it when it flies up in the air trying to stab pikmin to bring it down early.
Let's go I'm so happy this video came out since the last two videos were an absolute masterpiece
13:20 You can also whistle at them for a longer and they’ll eventually come.
As an observer of Pikmin instead of a player, i might buy number 4 now.😊 Also I'll recommend nimona in return.
It's great to heard how great the missions were from someone who was addicted ti Bingo Battle with a friend of mine in high school. There's no feeling like trying to complete your bingo until your opponent gets a cherry and rocks fall, everymin dies.
2:28 mild epilepsy warning!
Thank-you Schaff for reviewing this game and reminding me that I did in-fact own this game and beat it and it’s pretty cool excited for 4
Alright, we NEED a Pikmin 4 review from Schaffrillas. Who agrees?
i'm definitely looking forward to the review!
Ooh I love scruffy's videos! They're great to have on in the background to draw to or as something I can watch on their own.
Pikmin 4 is the first pikmin game I've ever played
''Blue well utilized in 3'' What?
To complete the game you need to use them ONCE when Louie steals your supplies and you need to open the gate towards the Mireclops. And for 100% there's like 3 underwater treasures. Blues got it dirty in this one with flying overshadowing them hard.
