I LIKE IT A LOT!
Almost like it was built just for you lol
It doesn't look like Chris could break this one.
@@BertsCustomCuts Careful, Bert. Chris may take that as a challenge. LOL🤣
@@bwillan yup then I'll fix it.
Lol yep for sure get one Chris
I need one of those I'm running my firewood business full-time with a stihl 500i a 07 gmc 1ton dump and a 27 ton troybuilt splitter
The 40C looks AWESOME Andrew. Congrats to you and your team. I LOVE the innovation and leveraging technology. This is the type of machine our industry has been asking for...a machine that can take larger logs down to smaller splits ideal for EPA stoves, bundle wood etc.
Thanks joe! Really appreciate the feedback.
Joe needs some japa competition for some comparison videos;)
Crikey Joe, imagine having to stack all the wood that machine could split in a day! What a weapon!! Fantastic to watch though, but the Japa is more than I could handle I think. Cheers from HB NZ
The fully automated tease in there has me more excited than I should be 😂
It's absolutely cool and yes, I would still offer a few things! Thanks
Hi Andrew!!😀😀
You really seem to have her dialed in.
The only thing I see wrong is if your noses itches ,production comes to a halt. LOL!!🤣🤣
GOOD JOB BUDDY!!👍👍
Logger Al
Then I'm screwed during tree pollen season.
I'll prob never be able to own one but if this ever makes its way to tn in my region,it would completely change everything down here
That would look really nice in my yard
What is your subscriber count?
@@jakebredthauer5100 I don't have a UA-cam channel
Great machine 👍 It shows that your design team really delivered on this one. The only things missing are a camelback hydration system and a urinal so you never have to step away from the machine 😂 Seriously though - great job, can't wait to see more of this machine and to see it in person
Chris from In The Wood Yard could definitely make good use of that machine!
Looks like a joy to run Andrew! I say job well done.
We should see you in Vermont. The processor works pretty slick.
75hp to run that saw is what the saw shop told me I would need to run a 54” saw So I guess they were correct.
I sure wish I was on the other side of these innovations, meaning in the shop. I do my best designing and engineering in the shop with a scratch pad and a welding table and soapstone.
I think I will be in Vermont on Friday. I will share a couple nuggets of wisdom with you there.
Looking forward to it!
slasher blade?
@@jakebredthauer5100 more of a buzz saw blade. This is much narrower kerf
Hi Andrew, you make incredible splitters and should be very proud.
That is a work of art. Makes me want to start selling firewood. Cheers and congrats Andrew! Love the log grapple too. :)
You should build a road legal gas powered log loader trailer on 7 ton axles similar to Wallensteins 115 model
I second this!
WOW, and it seems so easy. Lovely bit of kit Andrew, and what a great motor. Excellent design.
40C is an Incredible Machine the design is much better with 2 joy sticks, The Skid steer Grapple Attachment is Nice for Customers who are in the Tree Service Industry Stay Safe in Canada,
Looks awesome, around the 25 minute mark I had to check to see if I had hit the x2 time button. It looks so smooth and fast!
I’m very impressed. This is what the industry has needed. I think you will do very well with this machine. I just may have to look at new instead of used now. This machine is a game changer!
Looks very nice it looks way different from when it was at Bunyan could also be nice to have a seat to sit on
I need something to just back up to (assisted standing).
Hello Andrew, Its a beautiful machine, and simplicity rules👏🪵🇺🇸
That is a sweet machine! You guys did a nice job! - Tim
Wow!! Amazing machine!!
Beautiful piece of equipment!
What a Beast Im mean come on this is pretty darn sweet !
Wow that thing is awsome can't wait to see it friday
That is a pretty smooth running machine. Great job team.
That really is a great machine. I think that would be perfect for my woodlot. You guys have got the market
Beautiful piece of machinery man!
Looks like a nice machine 😊
Amazing! If I wasn't almost retired, I would definitely be looking at this processor. It would be perfect for my size operation.
Very nice Andrew, can’t wait to see it in VT.
Nice job on the updates Andrew. That is a sweet looking machine.
A BIG WOW> What a processer.
The 40c with the 16 way is a moneymaker for sure!
Ya done good boys,, yep ya done good
The processor runs exceptionally well on its own with minimum operator input. How long do you think it will be before someone gets bored just standing there and decides that it will run on its own and tapes off the triggers? First, they'll bring a chair to sit and watch, then they will start loading the deck while it's running, and finally they will leave it running and come back to check on it once and a while. Just like Tesla cars are not totally autonomous you are always supposed to have your hands on the steering wheel. Quite the machine.
Oak Farm Firewood channel.
I just bought the tickets to the Logger Expo in Vermont!
See you there
Machine is looking good Andrew. Really have it dialed in now. Grapple turned out really nice too!
The grapples nice, but nor near as nice as the skidder kev special!
@EastonmadeWoodSplitters hopefully you don't come after me for a patent infringement 🤣
@SkidderKev i have the funny feeling that we wont have to 😀
A little 38 special sounding music for the 40c!
It could use a good comfortable seat.
Top Notch ALL THE WAY Brother Andrew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😃
If I remember he wanted to make a less expensive model.
@@jakebredthauer5100 Awesome!!!!
Looking good. Can you drop next log on infeed when in auto mode?
No. If its in auto mode it locks out all the other functions other than the wedge height
I would love to rent one for the weekend set up for bigger wood .
The few things I see is to make lighter go to a 2 strand deck and shorten frame for the guys that get 100in logs like Chris.
Nice unit. Have you ever thought about adding an air compressor to the processors? I like blow ours off after using it for the day.
Not so much on the circular saws, but we do have them on the bar saws
What's on the skid steer Sir ?
Well, I suppose if I ever wear my Axis out...lol
Don't see that happening anytime soon. It's a tough piece of equipment!
This has to be one of the smartest machines yet. So many features that make it suitable for the European market, especially the operator presence system. The auto feature is great, I think you have knocked it out of the park with this machine, of course if you had one just lying around and wanted to send it over to me……..
Too heavy to ship.
@@jakebredthauer5100 it fits inside a 40’ container so not particularly difficult
@@iangregory5452
If you are going to ship something it should be high quality, not an outdated clunker.
@@iangregory5452
Palax 750c has automatic wedge height adjustment. 2.2 second cycle time. Doesn't weigh as much and is probably cheaper.
540 Rabaud has the side-puncher type splitter.
Yeah, but does it time travel. I bet you haven’t thought of that ? Everything else looks awesome
Smooth, fast and easy. Awesome. Great job Eastonmade! Exciting to watch and more exciting to run. 🪵👍😎
I should have watched till the end Lol
For the fully auto system have you considered a remote controlled system so the worker can still move about and do stuff and still be able to keep an eye on the processor? Its def a mod I would do the second its out of the warranty.
Yep. It could easily be done now. Biggest issues being operator safety.
All of the new innovations are just awesome, but Skidder Kev is sure gonna miss his heat and AC!!😢
Is the next step in the design of this processor getting the operator station back enclosed from the elements again? Having the station separate from the unit, besides plug in go would sure take all the bouncing and vibration out of operation as well!👍
You could design one and market the plan through Eastonmade.
Make control panel adjustable.
I think it might interest other people.
It is. I did pass over that
24 ton is fine with the softwood we have in bc.
2:30 are we just going to ignore the eastonmade grapple in the background?!
Guess I should have just waited and continued to watch...that's what I get for jumping the gun
Automation!
I’m looking at the auto and when u let off them it all stops but that’s a good feature but can be bypassed very easy by taping the triggers
I dont think it would be really necessary. Its pretty natural to just grab both controls
Andrew, do you have any plans to build a smaller processor similar in size and price to a Timberwolf or Range Road?
We will lilley have a bar saw in the 60-70k range by the end of the summer. Be based off the bells 2000 chassis
Nice processor, but how would it do with hardwood? Like a Pin Oak with some knots.
Pretty good. You can upgrade the splitter to be the same as our larger models
You guys seem to have that dialed in.. the double infeed chain is a great way to eliminate the F..ery... I was thinking that for my little processor a couple weeks ago. Have you thought of a log optimization feature?? Measuring the length of the log and making every piece the same length to eliminate the end cut..
Havent got into any kind of optimization with it. I think it would be kinda tricky as most guys what the wood length exact
@EastonmadeWoodSplitters most firewood suppliers I know would rather have an end cut go to the customer... when you start hitting the bigger numbers the waste becomes unmanageable.. I myself would rather send the ends to customer but have some control a bit that it looks more like firewood not garbage .. maybe something for later.. if you measure the waste from a log I'm sure the value of selling it at the cost of a facecord at 150 is much more beneficial than selling at 50 bucks a truck load...
@@buckinfirewood thats a great point
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters
It is about time for a rebellion against the 16 inch standard.
Shorter pieces:
1. split easier
2. dry faster
3. are more adapted to machine manipulation
4. burn better
5. fit smaller stoves
More sawing. It is not clear which would be more expensive per cord. I suppose your thinner saw blade saves on horsepower requirements.
I always thought the circular saws raising all the way was very wasteful. 40C is the remedy (and saw teach).
You did not mention log size capacity. I suppose, 18 inches.
@@buckinfirewood
What about a compromise?
Cut some to the standard length and cut the last piece in half?
What do you do with all the firewood you produce while testing all your amazing machines?
Give most of it away to the employees
How do you discharge the cookies?
You have to reach into the chamber and remove them or pull them off fhe conveyor when they go by
How often do you have to sharpen the saw ?
Thats yet to be determined. But i would suspect you would get a season out of it without much intervention
How do you pull out a rejected piece?
Theres a door that flips open at the splitter. It is a bit of a pain, but we need to have the gaurding there
Hey Eastonmade team, I have an incredible idea for a full size processor such as this. How can I contact you privately?
Send an email to gage. Hes our main engineer gage@eastonmadewoodsplitters.com
How long would you expect the saw blade to say sharp? Is there an easy way to sharpen the blade? How much to replace a blade when Skidder Kev cuts through some steel? 😂
It will stay sharp as long as you dont hit anything hard. You would send this unit away to a saw shop to get re tipped
What's the price on this? To ohio usa
Right around 130k. We have it up on our website now www.eastonmadewoodsplitters.com
