I’d say we were about 10-11 miles from shore, as the crow flies. We were in 140’ of water catching the mahi!
How did u make ur reel bailess
This reel is the Carbon X 4000, you can't make it bail-less. The bail-less reel you are probably thinking of is my Tsunami Shields. Look up Manual Pick-up Conversion Kit on J&H Tackle and you should find it!
