That’s why in most posters and trailers for RotJ Luke’s lightsaber is still blue. Purple only happened as a personal favour to Samuel L Jackson who wanted that colour. For a very long time those were the only colours that existed in proper canon, with others only being in books, comics, and games, but the they’ve been gradually introduced into canon materials.
