So it seems like Lawful Good is more dogmatic while Chaotic Good is more personal and free-willing. I have a character that somehow fits into both extremes. He was isolated from the world in a utopic small society until invaders essentially exposed him to the horrors of war, disease, etc. So if he was still in his small town, he'd be Lawful Good. However, his morals and actions are extremely chaotic compared to the rest of the world where the story happens... yet he's not doing it for freedom or individualism. He's almost morally neutral by bending some of his rules in order to survive (like hunting and stealing to eat instead of a magic forest just handing him food and water) but he's more hypocritical than morally nuanced. Personally, I've labeled him as Chaotic Good bordering on Chaotic Neutral but he's more steadfast and Lawfully Good than the most sinless and perfect of paladins... in his mind anyways. To everyone else, he's an unhinged monster with rather confusing morals. For instance he refuses to lie or hide, but he's willing to steal from and kill completely innocent people, oftentimes with zero guilt or hesitance. It'a almost as if he's not Chaotic Good, but rather his "Good" is Chaotic and he's Lawfully Good.

Anarchy in the Chaotic Evil part is a mistake. Anarchy is a Chaotic Good belief

Many people get alignment wrong: - Lawful Good doesn't mean that person who fallow it don't have common sense, especially when there is a contradiction between local law and morality. Lawful Good characters tend to fallow specific kind of laws and can be misguided. - Neutral Good is the most common man type morality. Pay taxes, be decent person. But also would occasionally break the law if morality demand it. - Chaotic Good are Anarchists. They don't fallow laws, think that those are evil. - Lawful Neutral - Are that cold types, what do not cause troubles but also would not bother with beggars on the street. Ironically tend to be associated with law enforcement. - Neutral - Exist. Idea of balancing karma is idiotic. It doesn't work that way. Neutral people do not have any distinct type of morality, maybe they intentionally hide it? - Chaotic Neutral is morality of the thugs. Opportunistic people who simply go with what they agree given by life. And no. It is not the best alignment. In decent game a lot of people would not trust them. For obvious reasons. They are thugs! But bandits also would not trust them as they also tend to lack spine and would sell them to law enforcement. - Lawful Evil are basically the mafia. Despite being criminals and doing bad things. They are obsessed with internal rules and concept of the criminal trust. - Neutral Evil are the regular bandits. You break the law only when it profit you. - Chaotic Evil are basically unhinged nuts. Why you would work with them?

Now that I understand this allignment system more. This means I'm Lawful Good when I was a kid, then shift to "True Neutral" as an adult.

Lawful is not adherence to the law, but rather to a law, be it ethical, legalistic, or moral by nature. Batman is lawful even though he doesn't follow the law of the land. His code is to apprehend criminals, but what he does may not be legal such as his excessive speeding.

To be honest, Celina Kyle is more of a Chaotic good. She steals, but usually to gather money for saving the environment.

To put the cart before the Horse, as much as D&D Alignments are a fascinating thing, the main flaw that comes to fruition, is that moral neutrality/amorality does not exist, at least rightly so because, our own actions, values, methods, personality, and behavior, all dictate for us on what morality we are apart of, good or evil. Only evil and good technically exist. From the outset though, neutrality exists in the sense of not partaking in conflicts/conundrums, as well as during good vs. evil conflicts, that goes without saying. But it is vitally important to note, that I am only calling it nonexistent, in the sense that its in association with morality. In real life, judges may be neutral in the sense that they are not taking sides in a conflict or anything, but morality wise, their morality is either evil for the corrupt ones, while the more reasonable ones are good. In other words, being Lawful Evil or Lawful Good. I can even say the same for detectives, as they tend to investigate whatever malignant things a criminal is doing in order to advance the benign cause of making them face justice for the evil things they had done. The corrupt ones on the other are evil. Twilight Sparkle during the Hoofield conflict, had not taken sides, but she is Lawful Good. The character named Judge Dredd is a token good teammate (on an anti-heroic scale) within a dictatorial system, believing he is upholding order and justice against evil and violent criminals. In short, he is a Lawful Good anti-hero. As for Captain Jack, he would be a Chaotic Good anti-hero in the Nominal Hero category, right up until he moderates himself into a Pragmatic Anti-Hero as the series progresses. As for the characters/real-life people taking sides, whether its good or evil, is contradictory against neutrality as a meaning, and plus, betrayal is an evil action. That being said, neutrality exists, but not in the field of morality. If I had my own way with D&D Alignments, I will just have the good and evil alignments in it, and not moral neutrality. This can also be a means to simplify gameplay, and make it less of a hassle in terms of choosing. In short, having six alignments max. Evil and good are also not concepts, they are both fundamental forces of existence to define what is right, and what is wrong, and that is a more objective way to put it. There may be times it would be incredibly difficult if not impossible to define whatever person’s morality lies with when it comes to good or evil when there are complexities involved, but that does not mean we should stop trying our level best in order to do so. Within the context of TF2 Freaks, I would say that Cheese Scout is a Chaotic Good anti-hero of the pragmatic variety, same goes with Armeni. Painis Cupcake would be an anti-hero of the Chaotic Good alignment, and the only reason he devours people is that he possibly suffers from an overbearing, surreal hunger disorder that gives him cannibalistic urges. Crazy Machine is a Chaotic Evil anti-villain, and happens to fit more accurately into the Nominal Villain category.

Rebels are the heroes? Terrorist, more like. They didn't bring freedom.. they brought chaos. Without the Empire more people suffered than before, sure it was a little oppressive, but the Empire wasn't guilty for how the troopers acted, they gave the orders but the troopers acted by themselves. They gave jobs, good living conditions, they were fair, just, and gave trial to the guilty, the only bad thing, was it was a little tight on politics, and when they fell, many, MANY lives (and livelihoods) fell with them. In conclusion, the Rebels are scum. (Thats why I would just be a bounty hunter alined with the Empire, like Fett. I would also probably where the White prototype Fett armor, its looks so gud.)
