Home Sweet Home :: I'm Back Already!

Thanks so much to everyone who prayed for my health and also to those who prayed for my travel safety! I had a great trip to Medford and back. Imagine driving 2+1/2 hours to get there. It took an hour to get over the mountain and out of this valley, then another hour to get to Grant's Pass, then a half-hour to get to the hair salon in Medford!
I had the sweetest hair stylist with many years of experience, and she did a great professional job. At the end she kept saying, "There, you have a STYLE now." So apparently "Dutch Boy" isn't a style. Or at least not one anyone would want? I like the new style better, for sure. I was amused by noticing that all the hair stylists had long hair! But they made money cutting everyone else's hair. Hmmm.
The doctor was a thin small woman only slightly younger than me. She had no problem identifying my issue, and she looked around for other possible issues on my skin. I appreciated that. I was told to return in a year, and to go home and wait for the bill as Medicare will pay only 80% of it and they didn't accept my backup insurance. I'm okay with that. It was a nice clean and professional clinic. In the video I said something was going to turn red, scab over, then fall off... it is the scab that will fall off, not my nose. I'm so grateful. So far so good. God is good.
I'm so excited about my new van tires! I got them from Les Schwab. Best quality. While waiting I got to talk to two very nice people. First Lisa. When she left I noticed her wearing a cross and let her know I'm a Christian too and that I hope we'll see each other again in heaven when we get there. Then a man sat down, another Christian! When I left we exchanged names and he said his wife is also named Linda. And I said one of my best friends was named Dennis like him. Sorry to say, my Dennis friend departed this life in 2021, a thing of great sadness for me.
