Repair shop wanted to charge me $200 for this repair on my 2006 Town and Country…after watching this I’m confident I can do it myself. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for the video ! I just troubleshot my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan and had a problem with no fluid coming out of the rear window nozzle. I could hear the pump turning but no fluid. The carpet behind the very back seats was wet. There is a hose connector under that carpet that came off. I put that back on and it works fine. The pump serves both front and rear windows- the hose on the left goes to the rear and the hose on the right goes to the front. The pump direction of rotation just changes depending on which switch is pressed. Great video man.
Great video. Very simple operation. One thing I would recommend is to replace the rubber bushing with new one. Once a washer pump has been in the vehicle for years the rubber bushing gets hard and they have a tendency not to always reseal around the new pump fitting. Did this once myself and found later it was leaking around the old bushing. Put in the new bushing no more leak. Makes sense to replace it an do the procedure once.
While the pump is out, flush the reservoir with lots of water to clear out all the crud. It was amazing to see all the murky stuff come out of the hole where the pump is mounted.
Before you assume the pump is bad try blowing it out with a compressor. My mechanic told me it was bad and it would cost several hundred yo replace. I went home and disconnected the hose and blew it both ways. It worked better than it ever has.
I have a 2001 and only the front isn't working(the pump doesn't kick on). I know this is an easy fix but didn't know if only one side of the pump could fail
My pump on my 2015 Caravan doesn't run, but neither do the wipers come on like they should. The wipers work fine by themselves. I'm wondering whether there's a switch which keeps the wipers from coming on if the pump has failed. Anybody know?
I changed switch and pump from a operating system . Now it does not work still! Tested fuses all good. Tested pump. No power to pump . So where should I go now. Integrated fuse box ?
Good video. On my 2002 Gran Caravan there is two separate pumps, one white and one black. I did replace the pump but it still doesn't work. I can't hear the pump, at this point not sure what it could be. Could the fuse/relay be an issue? If yes, which one as I check them and they are all good.

Glad I could help. That's exactly why I made this video.

Hi, glad you were successful. Thanks for the additional information/troubleshooting!
It was just like you said. It took 20 minutes from start to finish. I took my tire off for more room. Saved me $200 bucks. Thanks for the video.
That's good news!
+Aqeel Rasheed You can also use the steering wheel to turn the wheel to the left so it is out of the way.

Good thinking

Thanks for the video. I'll be replacing the pump on my wife's van this weekend.
Great video!
Replaced mine today...
Just had a mechanic estimate it would take about an hour ($150). Hmmmmm? Two screws and you're in. I thank you and my checkbook thanks you too.
Thanks so much!! Sometimes people have two pumps, one for the front and one for the rear windshield. It's the same basic principle though.
Thanks a lot. Mine was a hose came off and not the pump.
Great Detailed Straight To The Point Video...Thanks
Great stuff! Thanks for the clear presentation.
+Chris Fierro Glad it helped!

Thank you, very much very helpful and saved me money. Awesome.
I've got a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. The windshield washer reservoir is on the driver's side. Pump should be in the driver's side wheel well?
Thanks. That was very helpful.
Thanks a lot for the video, I have a question, what is the other thing that is connected on the reservoir next to the pump?
Level sensor
Where can I get diagrams on the valves & plumbing for the fluid lines to the windshield. My rear window works my front wind doesn't.
I see how you installed that but how about the wire
Thank you SIR!

will this work for the rear washer also cause my front and rear washers does not work at all i checked the fuses and all good
I believe the pump serves both the front and rear windows.
On my 2002 T&C there are two separate pumps.
Do you know if the 2003 Dodge Caravan pump is located in the same place?
was the pump your problem?
or was it a fuse?
Pump works for rear but not the front. Is the pump still faulty or is it another issue?
Hmm. When my pump quit, it quit for both the front and rear windshields.
Thank. Very good .

Rafael Corado I'm not very knowledgeable about the 2002 models. Sorry! Maybe ask at an auto parts store?
The Dodge dealer quoted me $850.00 to replace the windsheild washer motor in my 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan!
That is a kind of dealership terrorism
thanks a lot I did not know appreciate the advice
save me a lot of money on labor thanks for the info.
I see now what's wrong with mine. I always thought it was a fuse or something. Great video, thanks for the info.
Awesome so simple thank u
Thanks dude!
Thanks!
You never mentioned if the rear washer worked
Thanks
Thank you.
Great vid, thanks for posting.
Instead of draining the fluid you could just stick the new pump on the hose right away.
But when you pull the pump out of the reservoir the fluid is going to run out.
Gale Fillinger Ah, it must be different from mine.
Thank you
You're welcome. I hope it was helpful!
Mate you need some new wiperblades
Thank you
You are very welcome. Glad to help!
