As a Malayali who grew up in Delhi, I never knew you can take Puttu-Pazham in tiffin. I would always take roti-sabzi, Parathe, snacks etc in tiffin because that's what other students were bringing. Robin did an amazing job of bringing authentic Malayalee dishes which Malayalees actually eat. Assalayi 👌

I'm a Bihari who's lived in Kerala for 3 years (best years of my life) and they're very right when they say that we both eat a lot of rice, wear lungi and saree (for women) in our day to day lives. Also thankyou for mentioning that Bihar has a plethora of dialects and languages other than just bhojpuri.
Coming to food, when I was in Kerala, there was a kappa field behind my home and though I rarely ate it (it was delicious every single time), I mostly got hit by kappa sticks🙃
My mum would keep a stack of tapioca sticks in the living room and whenever I made any mischief, she'd come running towards me with that😭

I am born and brought in chandigarh, but I belong to a UP family. Yaha yeh sab cheeze itni common nhi hai...but aaj akanksha ne jitni cheeze bhi mangaayi thi wo sab mere ghar pe banta hai, and it's such an overwhelming feeling😭😭
I can't explain this in words!

Omg ... I love champaran chicken ... Kappa & Meencurry it's a lit ❤‍🔥 .. Putt & Pazham is our normal breakfast but as Akansha said litti can be paired with mutton, Putt also can be paired with chicken , mutton , chana or any spicy gravy curries, even Pickel & Pappad (authentic Kerala version 😅) also. I wish Akansha could have more payasam like Paalada, Semiya, Paalpayasam .... 🤗
