    Neerdose is the type of dosa made with batter of rice and coconut. It is food made in coastal side of Karnataka like Udupi, Mangalore. It goes well with chicken curry, we vegetarians have this with special side dish called 'kai bella' which is made with jaggery and coconut or with coconut chutney

    To be true, RDX has lost all its flavors now. The difference in quality they served earlier vs now is huge. Only dish that's worth trying is mutton korma and chicken tikka regular.

      @@durba-718 the entire cooking process for the dal lasts for 72 hrs. It's not that they cook it, store it and serve it after 72 hrs. Hence, there's no possibility of the dal becoming stale

    Neerdose is the type of dosa made with batter the of rice and coconut and that's why both of you guys could taste rice and coconut. It is mostly made in coastal sides of Karnataka like Udupi, Mangalore (My native). It is also had with chicken curry, me partially being a vegetarian have this with coconut chutney and my family even enjoys having it with lashun (garlic) chutney.

    Neerdosa is also called "Soru Chakli" in West Bengal. Its a kind of pithe, made with soaked rice , soaked dal and coconut. It is so easy to make and taste so delicious with some gurr. 😋 one of my favourite pithe ❤️

      The original neer dosa does not have dal, it is just rice and coconut.

      There is no dal in Neer Dose. Neer as you may have guessed means water. So it literally translates as Water Dosa. In batter for want of a better word is very very watery solution of ground rice and coconut which and is poured on an a hot iron gridle to make a very soft dosa that feels like a delicate soft lace. My mothers version is very thin. Many bunt families make it a vee bit thicker but it is still very soft and delicate.

    In jharkhad we make chhilkas with rice flour batter which is similar to neer dosa except for the that it has some coconut in it and it is really really good 😋😋😋

      We Bengalis have something similar called Soru chaakli, without coconut though. Traditionally eaten with “gur”😋From the comment section it seems like many states have the same food, just different names 😄

    That dosa is called "Soruchakli" in my language (Bengali). It is a sweet dish here in Bengal. We make it during the winter months and eat it with "jhola gur" (liquid date-jaggery)

    Hi that lace thing is called "soru chakli" in Bengali. It is made up with chawl ka paste and grated coconut.

    Very very very true , i am also bihari and truly ghr ka masala chicken aur mutton has spoiled sooo much, ki literally since I have come outside, i have stopped eating non veg. I just return home and then eat non veg.
