Had to comment lil Bangalorean inside me is dying to explain - Bisi Bele bath literally translates to Bisi means hot, Bele means lentils and bath means Rice, the bisi bele bath which we get here is a very liquidy consistency, and its just yam and its served with kara bondi and raita.. Karnataka has many different flavored rice types and are all very delicious..
Absolutely love it. We used to call it basi billi bhat when I was studying there. 😅
I also like the fried poha mix they used give with it
Correct... Totally agree
Loved it that you tried Bisi Bele Bhaath! The kannadiga in me is doing a “happy dance”! The consistency definitely didn’t look right but I’m still glad it was in this video
And puliogre too 😍
Yeah u r correct....
Me too ❤️
Yes , Bhaath..not bath... it's a Bengali word
Omg I am so so happy that I am not the only one from karnataka and I was so happy to see bisi bele bhaath
We wanted to include Odisha’s Pakhala bhaat, but there was no restaurant around our studio delivering it. Love for pakhala ❤️❤️ - Satyam
Glad to know that pakhala was in consideration. Also Kanika is not available in Noida.
Ghar pe banwa lete bhai. Doesnt take a lot of time.
@@lopamudradas9129ap Wohi ho na jis ka Naam golmal 4 Mai le rhy thy
Love but actually you can get it I delhi better luck next time ❤️
Being from Bengal, I missed panta bhaat in this video :(
Being from Karnataka I am happy that you showed bisi bele bhat and puliyogare because they are some underrated delicious food and one of the comfort food of karnataka and I want you guys to come here in Karnataka and try these and many other dishes made by rice..😇🥰
Vangi bhaaath, lemon rice are also great
@@DrRohiniM yesss!!!🤩
I am from Odisha and it feels good when Satyam some times talks about Odisha ❤ in some of the videos. Because most of the people from India pretend that they do not know Odisha as a state exists.
As a Bengali person, I completely relate to the preference of devouring rice over rotis.
Same here being konkani
Thik dada 🥺
Same.
ভাত (rice in bangla) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I think I'm a kalank, I don't prefer rice 😂😂😂
Akansha and Satyam is a deadly duo😍
Enjoyed thoroughly.
Amabalapuzha palpayasam is all Malayali’s favourite and iam very happy that you people enjoyed it ❤️
Agree 💯💯💯💯💯💯
100% right
Actually bibimbap, you have to mix everything with gochujang, Kimchi or soy sauce and omelet or meat. It would taste heaven. 💜
Hahaha finally someone 💜🌚
This duo is my heart. There is something so amazing and beautiful about when these two come together! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Akansha hair style is soooooo amazing ❤️❤️❤️god i love it 🎉🎉🎉🎉it really has changed the whole video and looks so pretty ❤️❤️
Totally loved it . Today's style is so pretty.
@stillfindingtherightsnare lol
Love love love how south Indian rice dishes were a part of this video 🤩🥰
BISI BELE BATH is HOT GRAM RICE (literal translation)
KHARA PONGAL is SPICY KHICHDI not standing khichdi 😂😂
SIHI PONGAL is SWEET KHICHDI, that's why they differentiate with the help of their names.
"Shakkare pongal" - mainly a dish from TN. Both pongal ('venn pongal' and 'shakkarai pongal' - sweet and savory pongal) is a Tamizh dish
I can see maximum rice dishes featured in this video are from south India. India primarily is a rice consumer. Instead of showing dishes like Bibimbap and risotto, which we already got to see in the MasterChef show, you guys could have shown more rice dishes from a wide variety of Indian states. Obviously there would have been a number of them. For eg: Jadoh from Meghalaya, Poita Bhaat from Assam, Petu Bhaat Bhaji from Assam, Pakhala from Odisha.
Totally agree with you, they could add sidho bhath
Agree mahn.. The research at ok tested is bad in every try dishes I have seen.
Bora chaul + aaloo pitika + local koni
@@biswa48 eiya praan 😍
Exactly. Pakhala is love in Odisha 😌
Not Akanksha comparing Wasabi to kacche aam ki chutney🤣🤣🤣
But Akanksha is totally killing the hairstyle and colour❤️
Ok tested team... please do a travel series like the Mukteshwar one...it was awesome...get back some old content because that's what we love about ok tested 🤗😁😆😁
60% of old crew has left OK tested.
As a north-eastern manipuri "Chakhao-kheer" is too tasty, if in future, there will be a video on sweet dishes of india. Try it.☺️ And it's pronunciation is "cha*hao" , *k is silent. ❤️❤️❤️
i want to try it 😋 idk if it's available in any restro or not in north.
18:15 This is chunga or Sunga pitha, an Assamese sticky rice dish specially made during bihu.
Pre moistened 'beeroin chawal' is put in green bamboo tubes and roasted in fire. Banana leaves are cut in specific size&shape and fit inside the tube before putting rice
It is then served with 'gud' or milk(must add sugar) or thickened milk( kheersa/rabdi) or begun bhaja or maybe anything
I always wanted to eat bibimbap after watching all the Kdramas but when I ate it in reality it is not for an Indian palate lol. Maybe an acquired taste but definitely very healthy. 😅
But we love spicy food more than healthy.....those masala makes our food more authentic but korea foods do not require masala like indian cuisine....both have their own taste
i think its more about where you had it from
ttoekbokki still taste fine for Indian Palate but Kimchi and kimbap not really.
I mean most restaurants in India don’t even have the authentic tastes. I tried kimchi in a Korean restaurant somewhere in Assam and it was SO BAD, they had put the entire bottle of vinegar in it.
@@anti_fascist It's the same everywhere. The Chinese food in India is not even close to authentic Chinese served in China. Similarly Indian menu served in other countries is not the same.
Very happy to see you guys trying Karnataka dishes. Though Bisi Bele Bhaath dint look authentic. as Akansha rightly mentioned dish actually is served in slight liquid form here in Karnataka. And Puliogre it's most common breakfast of Karnataka. 💖💖💖💖
Hi guys...I am a Kannadiga so I cn surely tell you that whatever you had in the name of bisi bele bath was not it😅😅please try it out in an authentic place and you will love it😁...but thank you for trying to including it😁😁
I would like to suggest some
Maharashtraian "Masala Bhat"
Karnataka "vange bhat"
Tamil nadu "karupallie satham"
Parsi "dansak"
Japanese "katsu curry"
Some more like mint rice, lemon tawa pulav, tomato rice, kuska rice
Bibimbap you should've mixed it all together and then have it with Kimchi it would've been the best😍
Also add yum yum sauce and spicy sirancha for flavor and binding
Bisi- hot
Bele- dal
Baath- rice dish 😁 was so happy to see this dish included in the video!
You could have included Pakhala. One of the best rice dish from Odisha that you guys have missed. How many Pakhala lovers are here ?
Yes... I am 🤩
I am surprised they didn't include it
@@akankshyamishra7800 I wasn't surprised because they barely mention anything about odia food or culture ever
Odisha has definitely much better rice dishes than Pakhala 😀
Exactly and even Kanika is heaven..
Even I thought as satayam is there so hi must have included it... But.. It's okay 🙃
Bisi bele bath 🤤It has to be soupy
Love from Karnataka
I love their vid
All of the crew are so rooted and down to earth
Bilkul relatable vids banate hain aap log
Best wishes from Pune ❤️
17:28 Ampalapuzha palpayasam 💯it's heaven
Akansha u pronounced 'zha' wrong but it's ok it is difficult for a non malayali to get it right the first time
And i was about to point it out. Ambalapurra would be better.. Or ambalapudrra 😄 PS: I am not from South india but East. But I love Kerala
I am from Karnataka, you guys ate bisi bele bath and puliyogare , I was very happy to see that, bisi bele bath is very tasty dish, as you showed in this video it was not of good consistency so please try it in Karnataka.
As a bengali for me rice is my life.... I can't live without rice......I perceived today there are more dishes on rice....you guys always rock....love from Kolkata ❤️❤️
Bhaat chara jibon chole naaaaaa
I hate rice and milk. Dont like fish too except chingri
Next try 15 manipuri dishes with rice.... Would be a breath of fresh air making content outside the encapsulated mainland indian theme's the channel is quiet focussed upon.
Oh my god you both as a duo in tasting food, can I say i love it like you both are together it's anything
My favorite bihari duo loved you guys always 🥰🥰🥰 as I am from bihar and spent all my childhood in odisha i can totally realate to every single emotion of satyam.... Satyam feels like family to me🙏
Saty in every video of ok tested...yes that's what we need
Thanks satyam for mentioning "Pakhala". It's my soul food 😋
You guys are making more effort day by day and giving best quality content...just love you guysss
If made right Bisi Bele Bath could have been the hero of today's dishes, that looked more like quinoa bath🤣
Rice is really lovable ❤️🥰🔥.Loved all rice dishes 👍
I appreciate the cuisine knowledge of Satyam he knows everything so well
Perfect Bihari duo Akanksha and satty❤️❤️
I absolutely love this Duo💕 Xoxo🌸
Satyam has started looking so more handsome these days n more confident too. Loving to see hhim
The only thing I literally hated about this video is that it ended 😏😏😏
You both nailed....💫❤️
More love to you satyam and akanksha......🌈✨
This duo in the frame is most favorite one ❤
I'm from Manipur and the black rice 'Chakhao' is very popular and known for its unique scent and also considered very nutritious. Lots of appreciation from NE to your team. Always love watching your vids ❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨
Rice is easy to cook.. Easy to eat.. Rice is love ❤
We assammese people only know rice 😍
M from Karnataka..as akanksha said bisibelebath has soup like consistency and it tastes wonderful..definitely not look like the one which showed in the vedio..
It's feel like old ok tested buddies are back ❤️😀
dil khush ho gaya itni sari rice dishes ek sath dekh kar!!
Brilliant 👌🏻 Greetings from Scotland 😊 Have a great day everyone 🌻
This is the best video of ok tested after a long time.
Akanksha and satyam are best people to review food 😃
Just love when satyam bhai gives odia references❣️❣️
I am just overwhelmed to see sooo many kanadatis/kanadigas in comments explaining bisi bele bath and Puliyogre ❤️
Was seperately waiting for something from Kerala...and u people have chosen the best thing....Ambalapuzha pal payasam😌❣️
As a North Eastern, I absolutely feel the "Bhat is life"....♥️🤗♥️
Just suggestions from a bengali: try Pulao and Mutton Kosha. You will not rest until you know the recipe!!
True🔥
Bestest duo man 💜 I just love payasam so much.
The video was very good ....loved it ❤️❤️next time please try a non veg Bibimbap and mix it well and then eat it ........and I think next time try mochi ...which is a Japanese desert .......love u guys ❤️
You have no idea how happy I am to see bisibele bath and puliyogre!!!! ❤❤
Also, yes. That was a bit too dry for bisibele bath.
This duo never disappoint us❤️🔥
Awesome guys.. Aap log kaafi mehnath karrahe ho.. Aur content back to back.. Great guys.. What a beautiful backup.. 👌👍
Also, in Rajkot - Gujarat 12 PM to 4 PM all shops are remain close.
it's so lovely that you guys included so many Indian dishes, but I was rooting for Maharashtra's Masale bhaat as it's one of the famous rice dishes of India.
Left over rice items
1.PULIHORA ( Andhra )
2.JEERA RICE
3. AVAKAYA ANNAM WITH GHEE
4. KARAPAODI ANNAM WITH GHEE
Great that you tried those dishes...but sambhar and coconut chutney go great with pongal and puligare is great with pappad. I am from tamilnadu and i have never had puliyogare with sambhar or chutney...and as for rice we have it daily so lots of rice dishes around here...love your videos great work👍
U could have included Basanti pulao its a famous dish in west bengal.Try it...its really yum😋
Puliyogare is an emotion to kannadigas😋(especially those served in temples)
with mosranna 😜
@@Udaymg yes!
But definitely not with sambar!
@@TrupthiBhambore ikr! Bad combo
Just love it when they explain the black rice in our manipuri language 'chakhao'...❤️
Nice bhai ✨✨ye video ka idea acha ....that person deserves a raise 💯
You can try the Gobindobhog rice (mostly cultivated in Bengal). It is very fragrant rice. Basanti pulao, payesh and other dishes are made from it.
You guys should have mixed everything all together in bibimbap. It is supposed to be eaten that way. I guess then y’all would have liked it better. :3 Also, the non veg bibimbap tastes better than the veg one. So do give it a try next time guys!!! ♡
"Ambalapuzha payasam" now this pronunciation you should hear from a proper Malayali and try to repeat it....😜 Happy that it topped ur list n bought you out of ur savoury-rice-high...lots of love from Kerala.
From each and every state there are tradition dishes you can try.
I am eating black rice since 2020… it helps a lot for weight loss too… I love black rice 😋
The fact that Basanti Pulao and Kosha Mangsho wasn’t featured is a crime. #TohBhaatBanJaaye
11:54 Bibimbap should be eaten in a hot pot and in that all of the stuff is to be mixed like fried rice then you will enjoy. This is my favorite dish till date. Do reply to know more :) Thanks!
They ate it in wrong way 😂
@@hrutujarane7953 Yes 🤣
Oh god somebody said it
Your cook offs are so binge worthy and even the food videos
Ok tested going to be ok tasted ❤️❤️❤️ such amazing food :)
I would recommend you guys to try "jadoh" which is very popular rice dish in Meghalaya.
I love Jadoh❤️I wonder if it is available in Delhi, if yes then they should try it!🔥
Instead of Lucknowi biryani they could have tried Jadoh
Are you kidding? They made whole seven states into one unit, i.e, 'North east'!
Aakanksha, you look absolutely fabulous! The hairstyle is (chef’s kiss)
Loved the way she tried to say ambalapuzha...❤kErAla
My mom makes sweet yellow rice n its delicious 😋
I bet Satyam and Aakansha had a brilliant ‘Bhaat Ghoom’ after the video! 😂
My reaction was same like Akanksha after eating bibimbab ... Before that I was so excited for Korean food... And it ended with ' htao ise'....
Not a bihari but lunch mein bhaat ke bina toh baat hi nahi banti meri! Din bharr mil jaye toh sone pe suhaga! This video is dil aur paet dono ke kareeb for me! Also, Satty bhai ki knowledge itni diverse aur clear hai, yaar wohi teacher hone chaiye thhe humare!
The Best UA-camr Of World Is OK Tested....Love Your Videos....!!!
Akansha's hair has its own personality 💜
At "14:51" - It's not Khada Pongal, it needs to be pronounced as "Kaara" Pongal.
At 17:40 "Zha" should be pronounced as "la", So you need to pronounce Ambalapuzha as Ambalapula (This "la" needs to be pronounced differently still even "la" will work if you are pronouncing it for the first time)
Kaara means tikha.. Spicy
Do you think people would be able to pronounce ഴ/ழ sounds if you explain them over the internet? Nope. Let people pronounce like that, until they are learning the said language
wrong. 'zha' is not pronounced as 'la' . It doesn't work like that in this word.
they tried their level best. you should appreciate for that
@@TheUniverse245 I know how it's pronounced but at least La is closer to "zha" than how they pronounced it on the video. It's pretty hard for anyone to pronounce for the first time. I didn't criticise them, this was more like an information. 🙄
@@AbeRegulus I know that nobody can learn it by just reading a comment but at least they can know that they pronounced it wrong. Without knowing, I don't know how one would correct it? So I just pointed it out. Nothing else!
This duo is my favourite.
Loved that there are so many south Indian dishes especially Karnataka💛❤
you should mix all ingredients of Bibimbap and have a bite. 😂 Maybe it tastes different then.
Yes that's how it is supposed to eat 😅
Yes, the entire content is mixed and then it feels like comfort food
@@AbeRegulus lol it doesn't
@@namy7506 erm, okay?
Mix everything well with kimchi & then 😋😋
Thank you team Ok tested, for bringing this video. 🙏❤️🙏
Could you guys please promote only states name or down south thing rather than saying "South-India or North-east India"
i loved akansha's look in this video, the video too of course. So CUTE !!
you should also try Phena Bhaat from West Bengal. Eaten with smashed potato, green chilli is heaven
Akansha's hair!!!!😍😍😍😍
Does satty's skin is glowing or it's just vision?!😍
bisi bele bath...love of karnataka 😍
Both are my fav 😍
Well I got so excited when dish from Karnataka had to be on table as I am from Karnataka ...
It's Bisi Byali Bath
which means garam chawal cooked directly into toor dal...
Bisi= garam
Byali= dal
Bath= rice
Gives best taste with mango pickle and papad😌
Khichadi kind of thing?
Guys, eat bibimap after mixing all the constituents with rice... Perfectly and if you add a lil of sesame oil.. then u'll be able to know it's real taste
Tried Assam's joha rice 🍚 best fragrance rice ❣️
I'm from Karnataka Bangalore
Very glad dat u included bisi bele bhath which means hot rice lentils dish which ll be enjoy with boondi curd
Jst awesome....
