I had an old foam mattress topper, that I cut a small piece from it and wrapped it around the shop vac hose and wedged it in the exhaust and it worked great! Found a few leaks from where someone previously welded in rear converters, but I believe my 1273 issue was caused from a leak where the passenger side rear converter bolts to the front converter. 4$ o-ring solved my problem
Make sure to set up shop vac so it blows and is not sucking. First I crammed the foam in the end of the exhaust and started the vehicle and that works, but I like the shop vac trick much better
i have 2 questions for you if you'd be so kind. how did you fix the leak at the end where it was the pipe and not the gasket? could it be welded? or have to replace pipe? how many pipes did you ultimately replace or were the rest gaskets?

Were u getting a rough idle while it had the p1283 code?

Only the leaks in front of the last O2 sensor cause this reading. There is no way for the computer to detect leaks after the last O2 sensor.
That's correct, you right i just found out later! thanks for the tip :)
P1288 y p1289 que será?
Ya revise fugas de intake
Cambie el sensor 1 banco 2
Y sigue igual
you can just run the car and feel with your bare hands around the pipe and feel air hissing out anywhere there are leaks.

reeblite exactly I welded it the one on the driver side
If you would stop spraying it maybe we could see the bubbles. More soapy water doesn't help.
Que tal muy buen video
eres buena gente
Perro el cómpa.la neta....
What stupid way to find an leak!!!!
That's the right way to find or use a rag to cover the exhaust to find only exhaust leaks stupid ass
Calmate.tu.super experto
Why?? Pumping air into the exhaust is not stupid. Its actually a good method. I typically use the vacuum. What a childish comment
