Great video. That helped a lot. Out curiosity, what are your voltage readings for all 4 of your O2 sensors? I did notice a more even voltage after doing the relearn.

Hey Aaron thanks for the video, I just bought an 04 titan and it has a code for o2 sensor bank 2. I saw your other comment about the tsb and found that I do have the ECM that is mentioned in it at least according to the part #. How should I proceed, just try to change the passenger side o2 sensor and then take it in to have the ecm flashed or is it possible that I may get lucky and be able to reset it on my own? Thanks again for all your help!!!

Awesome. I have been getting around to this repair. This will make it a lot easier. What codes did you start with? I had 4 a p1148 p1168. P1031 and p1051 indications are the sensors. But there is a tsb associated with it. Possible reprogram any info on that. Just wondering if you had same codes
Yes Tbs ntb04-032 directly addresses those codes you have. I would check in with Nissan for a reflash as 02 sensors from Nissan are expensive. However all those codes will show if you unplug the 02 and start the engine so double check your connections. The tbs I mentioned in the video was NTB04-126. About clearing the self learn ration when replacing 02 sensors or codes will re-appear. Good luck!
Hi it's a good video. I have 2004 armada with 88k miles and got this code P0430 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Tresshold Bank 2. I swap the o2 sensor but still getting the same code it didn't switch. To make it short after replacing both left & right o2 sensor with a different brand I end up using the bosch brand which is exactly the same as my original. But unfortunately still getting the same code. So when I see your video, I tried doing it (taking out the mass sensor with the basic scanner) and I thought it work. After driving 65 miles I still got the same code. Do you have any advise? Hopefully can hear from you soon thanks again and for having a good video.
Hi Aaron, I drive a 2005 Nissan Titan and I got P1168 P0420 P0463 and P105 codes. Truck hesitates to start specially in the mornings. Any idea where I should start ? Thanks in advance
A mobile mechanic replaced the engine starter for my 2009 Armada, and put everything back, engine started good but we didn’t drive it that evening , next morning I attempted to drive it and the rpms was out of whack ! It gitters and rides rough and the check engine came on P0174 , does this has anything to do with the work that was done the night before ? It was running smooth before we the starter had to be changed ! Also kind of scanner you got ? It’s nice 👍 I think I want to get me one . Thank you sir
Just got This message on my 08 Nissan Titan. Just one code appeared. How would I know which one is the sensor? Driver or passenger? Or should I change both. Code: P2A00 ( I assume passenger but wanna make sure)
Hello - I have P1168 and P1051( also a P0303 - misfire) Are these the pre primary cat converter like yours here or after the primary?(i have the 4WD) Thanks for a great video and any help / wisdom.
thanks bud, those codes indicate a failed primary 02 sensor. yes, the same sensors shown in this video. so that would be bank 2 sensor 1. (passanger side closest to the engine) what year is your titan? Nissan has a tsb regarding those codes that suggests the ecu might need reprogramming. the tbs number is NTB04-032. also i would look into that misfire code. ignition coils are very common on these trucks when it comes to misfires. if you do not have a scanner i would swap cylinder 3 coil with cylinder 2 and see if the code changes.
Aaron Hines Thanks for the quick reply and info! 2004 with 170k... I was just hoping this wasnt signs of a bad cat - Im going to do the coil swap test tonight and replace the sensors this weekend..I'll add any of my findings in the comments here to help.
Hi...I have a 2006 Nissan Titan have a code P0717...which is the input speed sensor...can you please tell me where to locate this sensor on the transmission...thanks alot for your videos.
unfortunatly this code is for a speed sensor inside the transmission. P0717 can set due to a circuit problem with the turbine speed sensor or when the Transmission Control Module (TCM) detects an irregularity only in fourth gear for turbine revolution sensor 2. a bad tcm, valve body or slipping transmission can be the result of this code.
Hi there, what's the reason you unplugged your maf sensor? I have a frontier and the p1283 keeps coming on. I've replaced the sensor 3 times and it keeps coming on but I haven't unplugged the maf sensor.
unplugging the maf and triggering a check engine light the clearing that code once you plug the sensor in will reset the learned fuel ratio settings in the ecu. a must do to clear and remedy p1283.
