I am a Stevie Nicks freak, and I LOVE the way Hole kept the sinister tone of Stevie's song but took it to a whole different place. They are totally faithful to the original even as they make the song completely their own. So rare for a cover to do both. I'm not sure what some of the comments are about, because I never heard Stevie say anything other than she liked this cover.

This is the one and only studio track with the classic Hole lineup of Love, Erlandson, Schemel and Auf der Maur. So glad Melissa and Patty got to record one song together: they were an incredible rhythm section.

It was late fall of 1996 , I was at Fort Knox Kentucky for basic combat training E company 146 about a month into training our Drill Sergeants, Fountain, Morgan, Hayden allowed the platoon to get a portable CD players and i picked the Crow sound track..... fell asleep listening to Courtney Love belting out gold dust woman..... when fall comes around I listen to this song and reminisce being in my top bunk with the smell of pine oil and floor wax in the air and my buddies talking about the days events and drufting off to sleep exhausted from training all day.... I hate my government but i love the Army and the people of this great nation

DAMN! 😳 I believe this is my ALL-TIME FAVOURITE AND REMINISCENT VIDEO EVER! I remember getting out of a psych ward and I was 20 and wanting to start what I call now-LIFE #2. I asked my parents to drive me to Eugene, OR (from Grants Pass) cuz I found a "quad" apartment for $275, utilities paid a month. I moved in THAT DAY with 1 blue suitcase. I cried ALL THAT DAY and I was finally ON MY OWN! Happy, sad, shocked, I transferred colleges. Eventually, met my now ex-husband, and damn, this was the best life I've had.... I'm on life #3 now and don't think I'll EVER be happy like that again....since I tend to write novels, I'll stop now. I really wish I could relive this time period again-hopefully, someone can really invent TIME TRAVEL! Until then....😥

An underrated song. I've not always been a fan of Hole, but give credit where credit is due: this is one of maybe a dozen rock covers that improved on the original (IMHO).

DAMN! 😳 I believe this is my ALL-TIME FAVOURITE AND REMINISCENT VIDEO EVER! I remember getting out of a psych ward and I was 20 and wanting to start what I call now-LIFE #2.
I asked my parents to drive me to Eugene, OR (from Grants Pass) cuz I found a "quad" apartment for $275, utilities paid a month. I moved in THAT DAY with 1 blue suitcase.
I cried ALL THAT DAY and I was finally ON MY OWN! Happy, sad, shocked, I transferred colleges. Eventually, met my now ex-husband, and damn, this was the best life I've had....
I'm on life #3 now and don't think I'll EVER be happy like that again....since I tend to write novels, I'll stop now. I really wish I could relive this time period again-hopefully, someone can really invent TIME TRAVEL! Until then....😥

Stevie Nicks is a legend. She's done a lot of heavy lifting for women in the music industry. I just happen to find more enjoyment in this version.
