I remember hearing this song in 95 Sarajevo, Bosnia on operations and I realised then how deep and defining the song was. To this day I still maintain that this is one of the milestones songs in my life. It is like a remedy for me so when I listen to this song I feel the hairs on my spine stand up like back then in 95. Such a wonderful and invigorating song that has stood the test of time. I absolutely love it as am sure all of you do too x
I remember missing a party that a girl I liked was at and the next night my friends and I went out to sit by the sea in the car and they were telling me that this girl also liked me and this song was playing. It always reminds me of that night and what followed was my first proper long term girlfriend and first true love - not on the same level as yours but was a defining moment in my life, and memories from a part of my life I will always cherish.

This came out when I was 18. One of my most favorites.
I saw Garbage in Seattle a number of years ago now. What an excellent concert in not too big of a venue. Midway through the concert Shirly Manson talked for a bit and essentially apologized for having to cancel their previous engagement years before due to a cold or flu or something. A total class act.
That is class.
She is a classy person, and also a very talented one. She played on a show I watched for about a year where is she was some kind of robotic alien. The woman can sing she can write songs and she can act. That makes about four more things than I can do.
Shirley Manson's voice in this track reminds me of a lilac - soft, velvety, almost powdery. There's a hypnotic quality, but you can feel the power behind every word, even when she's being subtle or almost whispering. There's this sort of fusion of softness and latent power that underscores every song. Definitely one of the most unique and dynamic voices out there.

Shirley Manson was like the new Debbie Harry in the 90s and I have to admit, this song just got stuck in my head everytime I watch MTV during the wee hours in the morning and at work, it's playing over the radio all the time. Just like Call Me in the 80s.
Funny, they were meant to support Blondie a couple of years ago, I was so looking forward to seeing these two on the same night. Unfortunately it was cancelled & when rearranged Garbage couldn’t do it but Johnny Marr stepped in!!! great night & Johnny was brilliant with Glen Matlock appearing for Blondie.

Desde 1996 que apareció en MTV esa rola la vi por primera vez en el programa CONEXION espacio dedicado a rock/rock alternativo, asi la presentaron a la banda... quedé como decimos aca en Honduras... babeando, geta abierta con la puesta en escena de Shirley y el buen sonido de la musica, bastante innovador en rock de esos dias.

I saw Garbage at a huge nightclub in January of 1996, when I was 31, and they/SHE was SO GREAT.....the Entire concert we were up in the Balcony just jumping around bumping eachother and Dancing our Arses off the Entire time..... It was automatic. We couldn't stop. It was so motivating for just being happy and crazy. What a fantastic concert. What a fantastic performer she's.

Shirley and the boys are still, without a doubt, one of the PREMIER rock bands of all time. I flew to Vegas [from S.F.] to see them for the first time many years back and I was stoked that they are even better live than recorded although their videos are also cosmic. I've seen them since a couple times and will def see them again if they do a show within flying distance!!
