    Don't want to get passed on the right??? ...then stay out of the passing lane!!!

    The driver that call the police used a cell phone while driving. Far more dangerous than Alex, who was alert and paying attention..
    Oh the irony. Unsafe distracted driver calling to report an "unsafe" fast one.

    • @honchoxba
      @honchoxba 4 роки тому +1

      I like how the driver slid slow left no turn signal, then calls 911 to report a speeder. If Alex had gotten pulled they should show footage of that guy too....

    Being on the cell phone is probably more dangerous than what Maher and Alex were doing. Fantastic record

    PM brought me here. This summer I'm driving from Modesto, California to Philadelphia, and I hope to do the same as Roy's recent trip. Not break any records, just do the trip without any tickets :)

    "brake lights off"... One of THE BEST mods you can do. Also, u can do some light braking with your E-brake:also shows no brake lights.

    You would be surprised at how fast someone will call the cops on you. I've had the cops called on me several times within 3 minutes of me doing something.

    CNN said that they were driving a 2005 BMW M5 but I guess the woman was just confused between M5 and 2005. E39's were ended in 2002 i think...

  • @AtomicRooster190

    Probably because hard braking is a sign of high speed. Also for night evasion.

    Can't believe some a-hole driver called the cops on them.

    the main reason driving fast on highways is dangerous is assholes that try to get all vigilante and block the way, that's just asking to cause a wreck....

    although i dont think he used them there, he did have a kill switch for his break lights. read his book. its amazing.

  • @backwindow

    they said "caller" if it was an undercover it would be him directly tallking via radio, 911 operators are EXTREMELY fast like that.

  • @DanHillman
    @DanHillman 15 років тому

    To Theriomalstrom, correct, the car's equipped with a kill switch for the lights so it's less obvious that he's braking heavily. Check out Alex's home pages. That M5 is rigged with more gadgets than a Bond car. Thermal imaging, jammers, detectors, all sorts of fun stuff!

  • @Silenced140
    @Silenced140 13 років тому +3

    When I come to power the first thing I'll do is made a 3rd, autobahn lane where you can drive as fast as you want, but you must be qualified to use it. Seperate the skilled drivers from the idiots in white SUV's.. :)

    Haha I've yet to hear my car being described via scanner. That has to be an adrenaline rush. With those Garmin's you probably found a parallel road for a few miles.

    If that White Tahoe driver blocks the traffic that way in Autobahn, he would've been shot to death years ago.... FUCK OFF THE LEFT LANE, SLOW !! And Bravo Alex Roy for your Technologically Advance "Rally" car and astonishing piece of endurance driving!

    actually i think that was a unmarked police vehicle, seeing how the call came right after they moved to pass it. but just a gues, you could be right.

  • @thetaco038
    @thetaco038 12 років тому

    Makes more sense at night so after you pass a vehicle they won't be able to see you.

  • @redhotcustoms
    @redhotcustoms 15 років тому

    I thought they can only pull you over or ticket you if they have you caught on scanner? And why the hell do people call in speeding cars. Thats a fucked up thing to do. Just cause you don't drive like that doesn't mean others can't.

    Just because someone calls in a report of a speeding BMW does not mean you get a ticket, the police officer has to actually see it and be abe to clock or record your speed on a radar detector.

    I drive Hwy 55 between ST. Louis and Chicago all the time in my 2006 Dodge Charger with the Hemi and I do at leat 80 to 100 the whole way but its the idiots going 55 and see you coming behind them lights and fog light on and they pull into the left lane right in front of you and allmost kill you and they flip you off like you did something wrong. If people knew how to drive we could all go 80 to 120 mph all the time

    I am a motorcyclist in the U.S. That white SUV is very typical. They drive like they personally own the road. They are apparently ignorant of even the most basic road etiquette. I hope someday all Suburban fUtility Vehicles will require special licenses. They are blocking out the sun where I live here in the mid/southwest.

    People will call if someone is driving recklessly, Because some people are drunk or asleep at the wheel. Nothing wrong with people doing that! ITS not being a rat! That is thug mentality. In the meantime the person that gets killed in an accident could be "OUR" loved ones. Mom. pop, sister think about it!

    all this tech, "omg he is slowing down and turning around"... DUDE HIT the gas till the next exit, you seen him first he doesn't know that you know. any way that is what I got from this clip. I am hating a little because of the stuff people wrote that he is a legend, maybe he does have a plan and didn't want to waste fuel on running from a cop that makes sense however you get stopped it will take any where between 5-15min same time as a fill up, and no ticket. just my few cents

    Ummm, professional drivers drive on tracks. Nascar driver's have to worry about 20+ other drivers trying to pass them. Rally has to worry about hair pin turns and shit like that. The only way a true "professional" would wreck would be do to car malfunction. And are you going to tell me that only pros have malfunctions? Sure they're going faster, but you only need to be going 3 mph to kill someone.

  • @2DecadesAgo
