Oh babe, you are taking on one hell of a job. Can’t wait to see the results. Love your stuff. One of Dad’s friends had a 68 Z28. Incredible car. I had a 74 with a 3.83 diff, 350-4 speed, great car, wish I’d kept it.
An idea for the future; with the car in the up position on the lift, loosen all the bolts to drop the dif, lower the car and support the dif on jack stands or better yet, wheel dollies. remove the bolts holding it to the car, lift the car off the dif and roll it out. clear the smaller parts from the car at a comfortable position.
Hello Doris. The Camaro is coming along nicely. You can leave the front wheels on the front hubs and wheel the front subframe like a wheelbarrow. This way it will be easier to move around the shop. May I suggest you purchase a tool cart. This way you don't have to reach for tool off the floor or step onto your tools. Remember that you must respect your tools. They are one of your sources to make a living. Keep up the great work.
Hello Doris..I really enjoyed your video of you working on that camaro..you brought back alot of memories when I had and work on my first Gen..now I'm sad that I sold it..😢😢..however seeing you work on yours was great..and you have a very nice ride..love that color too..I wouldn't change that color..but I would make it more street worthy..again so glad your back on the car..can't wait to see the in results..so I'll stay tune for that to come..take care..be safe.
I hope you're fine. I've been busy and would really love to drive that camaro. We used to have GM in our backyard. Manufactured those beautiful cars. They left my town. But the memories are all still there. Sending you all my love, Camaro. ❤ I can't fix cars like you, angel, but I sure know how to make her purr❤
Doris, Love how your are taking on this project. Much respect to your dedication on this. A thought from me to you. Get yourself a cart with some magnetic trays. Will keep you from dropping nuts and bolts on the floor. You are awesome though for doing this. Respect from old school mechanic. ❤❤.
LMAO, she dissected that car. What’s amazing is her thought process, she’ll be able to reassemble it better than before. Simply amazing, I couldn’t do it in a million years, nor would I want too.😂😂😂😂
It's so much, but It's at the point where I can start addressing the more serious issues so I can put everything back together :). Thanks for watching!
I see you have noticed my comments. SUPER COOL to see you working on these car's. I am very interested in the power plant you pulled from your Camaro. Make me a happy man and sell it to me. We are in the same neck of the wood's. And KEEP the wrenche's twisting young lady!!!!!
Doris voce é incrível. Parabéns prla sua disposição e conhecimento para um projeto como esse. Aqui no Brasil, ei mesmo faço o conserto nos meus carros.
Gotta love the much older cars how the whole front un bolts. A mate had a old HOLDEN HQ Monaro (yep I'm in australia lol) and he got into a accident and totalled the front of it. He managed to find a another old HOLDEN HQ and un bolted the front off it and use it on his after cleaning it all up. Sucks the newer cool cars are not the same and EVERYTHING is all spot welded. Just soo much messing around and time and BIGGER headaches if you decided to fix a newer car up.
Lmaooo I thought that’s what I was looking at. She’s definitely got some sense of humor. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 She’s definitely the best and most interesting female mechanic, on UA-cam if not anywhere else. She really does make some great content. Plus she really tries to stay in touch with her fans as much as possible. Real salt of the earth type person. High quality human being. Love her demeanor.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😌
It's crazy that car was set up for the drag strip but still has drum brakes in the front. I would feel better trying to stop a car at the end of the 1/4 mile with disc brakes. If they are working properly they will stop the car but I would convert them to disc.
I'll give you an A for effort. A lot of that was unnecessary. Like removing the wheels. They could have been used to move it to wherever you wanted it.
Love your video , but the tools all over the floor in front of your tool box 😮 , be careful you dont slip and fall on them. Any way keep up the cool content your videos are cool . The 1/2 impact , i want one now :)
It would be helpful if you had an exploded view of the sections you are removing so that you know exactly what needs to come off, also why does that 68 Camaro not have any side marker lights?
I was just wondering, why are you removing everything from the front end ? I must have missed that in you earlier video’s I have to assume you plan on scraping it to sell the parts.
I am interested in the motor you pulled from it. I am in the valley also. Cool seeing a lady wrenching on these beautiful car's. WANNA SELL ME THE MOTOR???9
Doris, Please, please, PLEASE, ditch the pseudo-drag racer look with those ridiculous rear meats on that Camaro and put this car back to more of its original look. Nothing wrong with wider tires, but this car would look pure class with a tasteful restomod look on it.

She's gonna learn the hard way😅. I would have never done that in a million years🙈. She's lucky it didn't flip off.

Great idea leaving the bumper painted. The SCCA Camaros all had painted bumpers too! Looks BADASS! 👍
I think so too!
LMAO, she dissected that car. What’s amazing is her thought process, she’ll be able to reassemble it better than before. Simply amazing, I couldn’t do it in a million years, nor would I want too.😂😂😂😂
My kind of girl, respect her and you get it all! And all is a good thing.
Just trying my best :)
It fun too watch you work and Giggle as you work, your taking on a lot of work, love watching continue the good work.

I use wood furniture dolly's for moving car parts around. They're cheap and hold a lot of weight.
Wow a ton of work, but worth it when replacing/repairing floor pans.
I agree! They are worse than I thought.. mainly because how it was all put together
Awesome Job Doris 👏🏼
Thank you! :)
Your love for cars is amazing!
Just trying my best to learn the old stuff!
@woman.driven been doing great since day one+
That's the first gen Camaro they don't get any older than that...

Great job Doris. Definitely got a workout in separating the subframe from the body.
Yes it was! Putting the new one on is not going to be fun lol
Good days work!!! Looks like so much fun!!!

It's all cleaned up. I made like 3-4 videos back to back so it was just easier to have it that way :)
👍@@woman.driven

Get a cheap Harbor Freight rollcart to keep tools and loose parts near where you are working. Just a thought.
Congratulations 🎆 job well done.
Thank you! :)
Impressive!
I have to ask, how are you keeping track of all these nuts and bolts and what goes where?

It would be helpful if you had an exploded view of the sections you are removing so that you know exactly what needs to come off, also why does that 68 Camaro not have any side marker lights?
Doris; Who cleans the cars before you work on them? The ones that are clean looking.
None of them are clean lol
Thanks god I'm single. I can learn about cars here.
what are your plans for this camaro ?
❤ watch her work on 🚗 ❤❤❤
I thought you were going to whack the ZL1 with that fender!!
lol.. it was still too far to hit :)
Cool.
I was just wondering, why are you removing everything from the front end ? I must have missed that in you earlier video’s
I have to assume you plan on scraping it to sell the parts.
The subframe has rust, the floors need to be cut and replaced and the rear suspension is getting replaced.
I am interested in the motor you pulled from it.
I am in the valley also.
Cool seeing a lady wrenching on these beautiful car's. WANNA SELL ME THE MOTOR???9
Hi, your videos are really fantastic!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Glad you like them!
🔥🔥🔥 very nice
Very nice ❤❤❤❤
Nice!!!!
😁🥰
Are you keeping it a track car or making it a street car?
YEP.
Beautiful ❤️
Did anyone else noticed the container on the grill resembles a you know what😂
Un Ermoso coche uff 🎉
Did you have to teabag the 67?
Just a Beautiful Young Lady ✨️ ❤️ ♥️ 💕 😍 💖 ✨️
💙
Doida, mas bonita!
Without turning back how would you lubricate the main shaft all around?😂🎉❤
Hermosa

No chance. Car is fully tubbed, along with stretched quarters. Not worth the effort at all. I will save the restomod look for my '69 Camaro.
Is that Camaro blue or purple?
Hmm.. more like an indigo color. Really depends on the light.
Beautiful woman 👩 ❤
CUTE
❤❤❤❤
The parts you are not going to reuse, sell them getting your money back. One would be the rear tires.
When I have time I'll look through them all, clean them and list them on FB or eBay :)
nice ❤❤
Incorrect grill and tail lights not a RS.
I ❤ you
Is Chris as knowledgeable about cars as you??
That's a literal nut holder on the grill. 🤔
It sure is lol
Hola goapas me gusta tu video un saludo de Madrid ❤
Those are some meats in the rear
Agreed! :)
Name your city?

Doris fantastic job, getting in an arm workout, You stripped it for sure
⚘🇲🇦⚘🙏💓🙏💓🕊🌷🕊🌷🕊🌷🌱
Wait, is that mutilated nuts and bolts holder male or female
Nut-Sack. It's a Truck Nutz sack cut in half, and she's using it as a nuts and bolts holder aka nut-sack.
I feel like this is scripted /practice I can always be wrong don’t come for me 😂
I know nothing about cars so my question is why are you taking it apart
You are absolutely amazing - great determination and drive ! And your so sexy !! Great job and keep going !
