I've been a maiden fan since the 80's. Can't begin to tell you how many times I've seen them live but this actually gave me the chills, her voice is outstanding

My very first concert was a a Iron Maiden show in 1983 Rochester NY. This my favorite favorite Iron Maiden Song!!! And I also got goosebumps listening to this song. Sounds just like them!!!
I am nearly 60 , been listening to Maiden from the start ... This I like very much !! Very well done .. Not just the voice but the music ..
Not just that they're young, but that they all came out of the same momma. Having 5 siblings with this amount of collective musical talent is insane😮

Danny, I am in my late 50's and grew up on this music. I found Liliac a year or so ago and I have to admit I cried with joy. I found a family group that not only did justice to the music of my youth but have brought it back to life for a new generation to enjoy. They have originals that are awesome, Melody has such a range with her voice and she almost personifies the original vocalist. I love this group. I am a true Liliac fan.

Melody was like 16 yrs old here. While she has always been talented, she has only gotten better. Her range is incredible now. Try their original Ballad "Sail Away", and judge for yourself.

💯 ... as a newly introduced fan of the Christea family (LILIAC 👍🏻💀👍🏻) ... as I also commented on what I know, Liliac has natured some since their early days ... I am SURELY a fan of Liliac, and I agree with Danny ... I am a fan of Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits & his style of guitar playing, and I am ALSO a fan of fast guitar riffs, dependant on my mood (what I am in the mood for - a strong cup of coffee, or a relaxing glass of Merlot wine 🍷) ... Liliac is a awesome band, and I also agree with Danny, and his awesome commentary, take care ✝️☮️☮️

Hey Danny, I'm a first time visitor to your channel. Thank you for your reaction to Liliac.
They are a family of siblings, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Their parents are originally from Romania (where I married my Romanian wife and lived for a while), but moved to the U.S. while in their early teens.
All 5 of their kids who make up the band Liliac were born and raised in the U.S.
Here are their current ages:
Sam - lead guitar - 22 years old
Abigail - drums - 21
Melody - lead vocals - 19
Ethan- bass (rhythm guitar in this video) - 14 (soon to be 15)
Justin - keyboards - 13
They have improved tremendously over the years, and they sound just as good, if not better, live than on a recording (in case you're wondering if they are legit).

If people don't like that, they can go start their own channel and say what they want. But this is YOUR channel and you have the right to express your opinion honestly. I respect that.
You're certainly not obligated to like a band just because I do. If people can't understand that, then they need to get a life.
I do hope you'll check out some of Liliac's other covers or originals though, as I think you might find something you enjoy.
However, as a big Mark Knopfler fan myself, I can honestly tell you that Liliac does NOT have that type of blues sound that Dire Straits had, so keep that in mind.

This video was done a few years ago . They just keep getting better ! You should react to an original song , We Are The Children , Dancing in The Dark or Mystery to name a few . They are also still doing covers that are fantastic !

Thanks Danny for giving them a chance. However you go from here with Liliac, I just appreciate you doing this reaction. They are younger here. The main thing to keep in mind and what impresses me the most, is that they are great humans, being raised by a rocker dad and mom who keep them grounded and away from the corporate rock world. They have their own label and Dad (Papa Liliac) is their producer and manager. I'm glad you liked Melody's voice, that's what got to me first since I used to sing. Thanks again and maybe, just maybe, you'll venture more into their music, whether it's their covers or their originals. Rock On and Rock Hard.

Thank you for your reaction to this amazing sibling band. They not only kill all the cover songs they play but their originals are really amazing... too!!! Hopefully you will react to more of their music...there is so much that you will love about these young adults and teens, besides their musical talents. Everyone of them are such nice, humble and polite young people.Their parents takes credit for that for sure..... Great family!!! Cheers!!!

They are playing the final Kiss Kruise X in October. Kiss booked them on the 2019 Kruise to the Bahamas, they were the talk of the Kruise that Kiss immediately booked them again. Last year canceled due to covid. Love watching all your reactions!

Surely Bruce would be proud of her flawless vocals and also her siblings performance as well ....Carry on Lillac . Frankly never heard a better rendition of this song other than Bruce's and Lillac.

Lilliac is a family band who I've been subscribed to for a while now. Lead singer Melody has that great rock voice and is only 15 I think and they get better with every song. Another great choice for a reaction Danny!!! 😁😁😁😎.

Liliac is a wonderful band. In fact, I think they are the best cover band out there right now for classic rock. I am waiting for them to discover who they are and stop trying to be the bands they cover. I think they will be a great band in the coming years.

Samuel is the oldest in his mid 20s, followed by Abigail, Melody, Ethan and then Justin. Ethan and Justin are still minors while the other three are young adults and are all siblings. The lead singer is Melody.
welcome to the rabbit hole that is liliac....you should check into their history, even their pre santa monica pier days as the cristeas to watch how theyve grown/matured....their originals are as good as the covers which they do good justice to the original while adding their own flare

the young shredder actually usually plays Bass Guitar lol but he can play either and his sister plays bass when he plays guitar ages of this first family of rock Sam 22 Guitar, Abigail 21 Drums, Melody 19 Singer and at times Bass, Ethan 14 Bass can play guitar, Justin 13 keyboards. they were younger during this performance of Iron Maiden.

Liliac is UNFREAKING BELIEVABLE CANT WAIT TO SEE THERE CONCERY
I literally just discovered this band today. I am incredibly blown away by her voice. As a band they are really tight, talented, and excellent. But her voice is on the level of Pat Benatar and Anne Wilson when it comes to rock women. Sheesh.
Welcome to the phenomenal world of liliac .this cover was recorded almost 3yrs ago check out their latest Symphony of destruction by Megadeath .a great reaction and your right they are better than the original all their covers are . They also write and produce their own songs which are amazing sounds like you have heard the guitar solo introduction to their hit song Mars you should do yourself a favour and listen to the rest of it you won't be disappointed .Fang4life Rock on and rock.
They could never be better than the original, because there you only copy, in the original you create. They may sound better to your tastes but never be better ... otherwise everyone who copies would be better, so it is very easy to be an artist.
Thanks! Yeah that type of heavy metal guitar solo is really not for me. But that doesn't mean I won't like the music. I really like the original SOD and I can imagine Liliac will kill that performance and especially vocally. Got a link for it?

Justin was something like 9 in this video, Ethan 11 or 12, Melody 16 which means Abby would have been 18 and Sam 19, I think. LOL They busked on the Santa Monica pier to get their performing chops. They are talented, gaining momentum and a LOT of recognition from the right places. Enjoy your journey down into the Liliac (Romanian for bat) Cave.

Hi Danny, I hope you get this comment since it has been a year ago reacting to this band Liliac. We haven't seen any more videos of Liliac anymore. Makes us Fangs think you don't like them. You liked Melodia's voice in this one. You should really hear her and the band now. She will be turning 21 next month. Samuel is 23 the lead guitarist, Abigail is 22 the drummer, Melodia as of next month will be 21 and of course you know she is the lead singer also want to comment that Samuel does the backing vocals and he is good. Getting back on track here. Ethan is 16 he is the bass player now. And little Justin isn't so little anymore. He is getting taller than the rest of his siblings, he just turned 15 in October. They have done so much since last reacted to them. They just got home from their first ever over sea's concert from India. They played in the Unity of Music concert and were one of the main headliners, they played last, and you always can tell how good a band is when they hold them till last. That usually means they are the best act. They rocked the house down and India really loved them and wants them to come back. They just released one of their original songs that was on they're The Chain of Thorns album called "Not Afraid", This song was revamped into today's style of music, and it is out of this world at the way Melodia's voice has improved. Yes, can you believe I just said that? You won't believe it. And the maturity of the playing of the rest of the band. Wow! Out of this world. Go and give them a listen on this song. It is called "Not Afraid-extended version". You won't be disappointed. And by the way. I just love your songs. I'm in the process of listening to your music now. Thank you RORH! I will get back with you on your music when I'm done.

These young people nailed a great song. I understand you don’t prefer Bruce’s vocals compared to Blaze or Paul D’anno, but please. Bruce is the enigmatic voice of Iron Maiden. This vocalist took the Bruce route and she is great. Peace all around.✌🏻🤘

Oh I love Iron Maiden for the music and lyrics, his voice is good, and fitting, but yes melody kills it and also like/prefer her, because they are that good, can pull it off and improve the original.
