DO INVERTS ON STREET! - BMX BASICS HOW TO
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 лис 2017
- Inverts are one of the most classic tricks in BMX, but you just don't really see 'em too often on street. Well, unless you happen to be watching an Albert Mercado section. The dude has been folding his bike on various street obstacles for nearly a decade and we got him to sit down and explain the rather complex nature of getting 'em done.
Thanks to Tech Deck for keeping these how-to's rolling along. Go buy a finger bike and stunt.

This guy actually explained the trick well. There are far too many tutorials that have some dude telling me to just commit and keep practicing. Knowing what to do with my arms and legs, or even where to look are super important to me in these types of videos.
With a florideah shirt! Hell yeah!
Really good explanation....Gonna have to give it a go....
Invert to the masses!
Looks so easy justing watch! Great rider, never lose the style!
Can't mention inverts without bringing up Doyle. Killer edit!
An attempt at an invert...just slightly turning your bike.
He has a damn good street table
Who has the best inverts in bmx? A squirrely ginger kid from Toronto that rides coasters. Doyle is a good tie lol.
You should make a how to on skate park etiquette For the youth. No joke. It’s a zoo at some of these parks and plazas even on the East Coast.
Can you do a tutorial of half cab to manual 180
just literally keep doing half cabs and trying to lean back into a manual... just takes a lot of time.
How to's like that are hard because they're really just combining three tricks. Unless there's a little tip or secret that people don't realize, there's not much to a how-to like that. Sorry dude!
Hey man so recently I learned 180 fakie manuals and I think I do have a sort of tangent tip for you that kind of came as a revelation to me while battling the trick. Try stiffening/flexing your entire body when you land into the manual. Only once you can half cab into the start of a manual comfortably of course, also remember to lock those arms, always essential for landing with any force into a manual. Good luck and a helmet might be a good idea, sometimes your manual 180s don't come around and you fall backwards lul.
what does he mean by bike wiggle?
Orange Blue where you start to put the pieces of the invert together. Like wrist turning, feet moving, knees bending, pushing, etc, but where it doesn't all come together in a fluid motion yet, so looks like you're wiggling.
Thanks! I just checked out and subbed to your channel. Great stuff! Keep it up :)
Is an invert just a fancy word for table?
Chris Perez an invert tends to be more upside down hence the name and also has the bars straight, not flattened like a table
Full inverts look like the bike is completely backwards of where it should be (inverted) i.e. Tires at the riders back instead of on the bottom, and handlebar crossbar pointing towards the ground instead of up. Easier to see the difference on dirt jumps where it doesn't happen so fast.
Tabletops bring the bike and handlebars flat like the horizon instead of flipping the bike upside down.
Thanks guys
Chris Perez pretty much a table variation
