This is a high selling item made with no frills equipment in real time. There are so many variations to this product that I am listing links below to some friends channels so that you can see more variety. Please give them a look and if you aren't subscribers to these channels maybe consider throwing them a subscribe! I hope you enjoy this video, thank you to all who watch!

great & simple projects for beginners love it.
Thank you Brendan!
Beautiful to watch
Thank you Denis!
Seeing you struggle with the new chisel makes me feel better, i.e., even skilled turners have a renewed learning curve. Thanks for sharing.
Brutal wasn’t it! I apologize! Thanks for watching!
Agreed! Sped up video certainly hides those little things.
Very good instructions with super cameras shots. Thanks bunches
Thanks !
Thank you for taking the time to explain everything, it really helps me. First time turner. Have a great day!!!
Thank you for watching Richard, have fun!
Nice job Lewis, thank you.
Appreciate you watching Gaz! Thanks
Hello, another great Video. I want to especially say Thank You,. For using a new Bowl gouge with a different grind. It shows us that even with years of experience things can become harder when you change the grind on a gouge. I'm not as discouraged now from trying different options.
Hi Paul! When you have turned with the different angle for 25 years you get accustomed to holding the tool a certain way. It took a while to adjust for sure. Thanks for watching!
A very helpful & instruction full video for those just starting out. Very well done. Thanks for sharing it. Don from South Aust.
Thank so much Don!
Thanks for sharing Lewis it's a nice idea as it approaching Christmas small projects and lot of fun turning Thanks again and bye.
Thank you Laurence! I appreciate you watching as always!

Very cute I like it!! And I’m going to try it later
Play around with some inexpensive wood and you will get it I am sure. Kids like painting these. Thank you for watching!
Great work as always Lewis 👍👍👍
Thank you Rob!
Very nice project. I can see the new gouge is an issue after watching your previous videos. Thanks for making these for us beginners
It like I’ve never had one in my hand! Thanks for watching!
Awesome job💯
Thank you Freddy!
That’s so cute!
Thank you Robin!
Very nice..snowmen are not in my early history being from Florida..but I now live where there is snow and see the children's attempts to make the biggest or the best..lol...
They're so cute and the family history of your father was heartwarming...
Thank you for showing us...🌿🌿🌿
Thanks Pamela! My dad watched me for hours and never asked questions or how to do any thing. I bought him a lathe and these were the first things he made I think. He started at 60 but doesn’t have the knees for it at 82. He just looks forward to Monday’s videos! Thank you for watching!

Thank you Huw! Appreciate it!
Once you start using a bowl gouge, all the spindle chisels gather dust.Great idea.I will dash right off and try it.
I get some flack for not using spindle chisels but this works for me. Thanks for watching Bob.
First time viewer. Liked & subscribed as well. I like how you explain the what you are doing & what tool and why you are using it. Really helpful to those who are learning what you have most obviously perfected. Thank You for sharing your knowledge & this video !
Thanks Jason, far from perfect but doing ok I think! I appreciate you watching!
Been looking to buy a lathe..... these are great videos!
Thank you James! You will enjoy turning I am sure!

Rob
Thanks Rob, very popular! I appreciate you watching buddy!
Real nice video. I may make some. Thanks
Lots of fun, great sellers and great practice! Thanks so much for watching!
I’ve tried doing your vase. My husband and even my kids said it turned out pretty good so I am trying to make a second one so I have a pair. I’m gonna try this also. I’m still not very good with the SKU or the chisel but I have been practicing, so I think I can do this. Let you know later. Thank you for sharing. I really appreciate it.
Excellent Lynda, send me a picture of it please. klondikecraftsman@hotmail.com
Yes, I also struggle with the very same chizel even after roughly 28 years! I don't feel so inept I suppose anymore! Good idea sir and good work. I like your channel its refreshing with ideas and explanations. Keep it up!
Thank you for watching! I’m considering shaping it the same as my favourite record gouge.
Nice little projects Lewis :)
Thanks Japie! I appreciate you watching!
Very good
Thank you!
Verry pretty
Thanks so much Clarence!
Great little Snowmen. Enjoyed your vid. Just getting my channel started so not much to see yet. Will be back to see ya again.

Nice work as usual
Thank you Roger!
Back, posted a month ago. I made 15 pens, 1 ugly snowmen, ha...ready to try again.
You have made 15 more pens than I have! Thanks for watching!
Here I am Dec.31st, watching again! I have made 3 snowmen..class twice a week..keep trying until I "see what I am doing wrong. Love turning 68 year old women ..9 months learning!
June, making more. Still not happy with shape.
Great job using a tool or grind that you're not used to.
Thanks Ralph! I have new gouges coming that are identical to my old one! Anxiously awaiting them!
Thank you
Where do I set my tool rest? In front of wood...high or low or middle?
Hey Paul! For scrapers and gouges middle. For skew high. Thanks for watching!
Very nice and so simple even I can do it. My wife had approved your video, BTW. Guess what I'm doing next fall.
Glad to hear! What are you doing next fall?
great but what are the measurments between or do you just guess
Nothing is measured, I just make what looks good to my eye. Thanks for watching!
Can you give a newbie an idea how you determine pricing for your projects? TIA
Ohh that is very complicated Herb! Production type pieces I look at material cost and an hourly rate. Art pieces I guess are similar except the quality of the wood can add a premium. That is pretty vague I know but there isn’t a cookie cutter answer really. Thank you for watching!
You would be better off using a spindle gouge or a skew than that traditional bowl grind gouge.
Thanks David, I don’t make detailed cuts with a skew in this series as this is meant for beginners.
Beginners would be better using a spindle gouge......
LEWIS WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR PO BOX ADRESS.FROM DOUG
Hey Doug, no PO Box. Flip me an email at klondikecraftsman@hotmail.com
Where did you buy your lathe?
Fundy Grinding many years ago. General machinery went out of business, you can’t get these anymore.
If this is for new turners, You should tell them they should not grab the work piece while it is still turning.
Thanks for watching, I’ll try to remember to mention that.
I can see why you don't like that gouge
It has grown on me. When you have used a different grind for as long as I have it is an adjustment. Thanks for watching James!
Das ganze ist eine Lachnummer.
Aber kein Drechseln
I didn’t turn a snowman then
