My turning has improved a lot from watching your videos and Richard’s. I like to put surprise decorations on the bottoms of turnings too - not just beads but sometimes burning or even carving a little animal or flower. Thank you so much for your videos. You’re helping so many people.

I am not into using a lathe, due to lack of space. Yet, watching 👀your tutorial, and watching you work through it, is very entertaining and enjoyable.👍 Thanks and of course a like! Cheers

Another lovely design. I have made a few square bowls (plates, really!) but not thought to leave the feet on the corners, so that is a new one for me to try. I always learn from your videos, thank you for all your good work and for sharing with us.

Very nice. Thank you. I have some boards that I have been wondering what to do with them. This would work really well. :)

Love the design and the technique you demonstrated. I never get tired of seeing how a piece comes to life when finish is applied. That piece of Sapele hid it’s beautiful grain and chatoyance until you revealed it.

Love the contrast of simple form and not so simple grain structure.

Hi Tomislav, that was nice. I like the the bottom of your design and the top of Mike Peace’s so will combine the two designs. Thanks

Very nice piece! You put more detail on the bottom than a lot of people(me included) put on the top

Beautiful piece Tomislav, the chatoyance of the wood and the shape really make this piece. Very interesting design and turning -- that sparks some ideas to try with various edge shapes on a blank like this. By the way, the video quality was excellent -- really sharp throughout, not sure if you did something with the camera or whether my internet speed improved.

Hello Tomislav, I really like that kind of piece, it gives me ideas for my narrower blanks to do that kind of project.
The shallow curve on the face of the plate would make a nice hand towel holder, like the square paper or tissue towels at the center of a dinning table!
    Very beautiful grain also.

Very nice piece! I love watching you turn “air”, with such confidence! I’m not that confident when I can see what the tool is cutting 🥴🤠🇨🇱

Thank You Randy, I would say its like cutting solid wood but with more control not to push tools onto the wood, and a bit more speed helps as well

    Great little project Tommi.
    Thanks to Mike as well.
Have you thought about rounding over tops of legs on front side and slightly undercutting sides of feet. Just a thought, this would take away some of the bulk from top corners.
    Thanks for sharing this
