18:38 UK time. I have been turning for a year and watching your videos have helped a great deal your work and how easy you make it look is awesome and the way you explain everything is amazing. Thanks for helping me on my woodturning journey 👍
Thank you very much for watching and support what I do 🤗
My turning has improved a lot from watching your videos and Richard’s. I like to put surprise decorations on the bottoms of turnings too - not just beads but sometimes burning or even carving a little animal or flower. Thank you so much for your videos. You’re helping so many people.
Thank you, glad to be able to help out.
That is awsome idea to put some decor like that...it surprises people and they like that
Thank you for sharing your beautiful bowl. Everyone stay safe, warm, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
Thank you Henrico
I am not into using a lathe, due to lack of space. Yet, watching 👀your tutorial, and watching you work through it, is very entertaining and enjoyable.👍 Thanks and of course a like! Cheers
Thank you very much
Another lovely design. I have made a few square bowls (plates, really!) but not thought to leave the feet on the corners, so that is a new one for me to try. I always learn from your videos, thank you for all your good work and for sharing with us.
Thank you for watching 😀
Wow, I love the square bowl
Me to ☺️
Very nice. Thank you. I have some boards that I have been wondering what to do with them. This would work really well. :)
Love the design and the technique you demonstrated. I never get tired of seeing how a piece comes to life when finish is applied. That piece of Sapele hid it’s beautiful grain and chatoyance until you revealed it.
Indeed, I like that process as well to see all the color come to life
Beautiful piece Tomislav nicely done as always,
I have a nice square piece of Teak somewhere in
the workshop you've inspired me to go look👍😁
Awsome, I haven't turn teak yet,I did make wall panels out of it when I learn my trade 😅, hopefully we will see the video?
The design and the technique are flawless. Thank you for sharing.
Thank You for watching 🤗
Love the contrast of simple form and not so simple grain structure.
Thank you Richard
Hi Tomislav, that was nice. I like the the bottom of your design and the top of Mike Peace’s so will combine the two designs. Thanks
Thank you very much
I likes. Got me some walnut that i will try sometime
Thank you 😀
Very nice piece! You put more detail on the bottom than a lot of people(me included) put on the top
😅 thank you Sir very much 😀
Beautiful piece Tomislav, the chatoyance of the wood and the shape really make this piece. Very interesting design and turning -- that sparks some ideas to try with various edge shapes on a blank like this. By the way, the video quality was excellent -- really sharp throughout, not sure if you did something with the camera or whether my internet speed improved.
Hi Mark, I think your speed improve as I didn't change anything 😅. Thank you for kind words and glad to inspire
Hello Tomislav, I really like that kind of piece, it gives me ideas for my narrower blanks to do that kind of project.
The shallow curve on the face of the plate would make a nice hand towel holder, like the square paper or tissue towels at the center of a dinning table!
Very beautiful grain also.
That is great idea for use, something to think about 🤗 thank you for watching
Beautiful piece, nicely done once again. Very enjoyable video, thanks.
Thank you very much
Very nice.
Very nice piece! I love watching you turn “air”, with such confidence! I’m not that confident when I can see what the tool is cutting 🥴🤠🇨🇱
Thank You Randy, I would say its like cutting solid wood but with more control not to push tools onto the wood, and a bit more speed helps as well
Very Nice, another great video.
🕶Very nice Tomislav.
Love the detail on the foot.
Thank you Steven
Beautiful grain and figure!
Thank you 😀
Beautiful work !! Thank you for another great video
Grest turned piece!
Beautiful footed plate Tomislav.
Thank you Jack
Nice wood shimmer
Thanks!
Thank you Jenny for lovely donation and support.
Thank you very much 🤗
Good idea Tomislav
Great little project Tommi.
Thanks to Mike as well.
Have you thought about rounding over tops of legs on front side and slightly undercutting sides of feet. Just a thought, this would take away some of the bulk from top corners.
Thanks for sharing this
I haven't,but its a great option if you like that look☺️
Beautiful figure on that. A lovely gift indeed
Thanks Joris
How thick was that when you started? 25mm?
Around 30mm but 25mm can work without problem.
Very nice, simple too! You know what they say about small feet? ............. small shoes.
Thank you, not sure about small feet ......,....👍
