    Great stuff! clear explanation, same thing with the Mask Editor, which i guess is an upgraded Mask builder. Thanks for sharing your process!!

    i wander how do you keep your self motivated through out the project. specially long projects. like after viewing all your videos, i inspire to create very detail model of coffee grinder. i can complete small easily(2 to 7 days max) but big project that will take a month is hard to complete.
    How do you do that???

    Thanks for the tutorial, but how can I use the mask builder?! I created the black and white effect using the mask generator but I dont see how to properly use that as a effect on the object. It stays as black and white here XD

    Hi, I want to ask a question about Mari. the node and the layer which one is good for texturing in the future. I saw some of your tutorials that you mostly use node to make texture in Mari. please tell me which is good. I am so confused.

    • @ArtruismDigital
      @ArtruismDigital  3 роки тому

      Node is a new creation and it's considered to be more efficient.

    My curvature maps bake out fine, yet Painter places large and blurry gradients near some seams, but not all seams. Even if I have blur set to 0 in the generator, using the curvature slider values results in seams in my mask. Does anyone know how to clean this up? I have read of an older trick to generate a curvature map from a normal map, but even that won't clean it up entirely.

    Thanks for your tutorials. Really helpful.
    I was wondering, how do you approach UVing your assets and laying out UDIMs? Do you have a set of rules for texel density for example? Or does that vary depending on each shot?
    I'm coming from game development background so curious to know how you approach this stuff in VFX!

    You started creating a mask generator but ended up not showing how it was used in your finished texturing. Easy to create a maks generator, how you went about using it would have been useful.
