Funny how last game, he could have just sat on the top of the marines and keep fighting instead of running away and losing the hatch, as mutas were hatching within seconds. He had a chance to win that fight if the marines spread their fire enough. Sure, he would have been super behind, but it still could have been played out and not just instantly lose.
I don't understand why all these protoss pros delay getting zealot speed until after the 5/6 fac push hits their natural.

Dear God 815 sucks.
I don't understand the lack of self awareness in these gamer poses. Promise looks ridiculous. Another guy that looks ridiculous is a WC3 guy that I think is called Zonik. Then you got Korean 'gangster' poses in GSL. It never looks cool, it always looks silly.
Zooming out is for boomers and zoomers.
Men of culture leave the screen as is.

At this slightly lower tier it really feels like anything can happen. Absolutely loving these games!
Love watching this right after recent ASL matches - you can really see the difference! ASL games are much more precise and unforgiving.
This also makes this the more entertaining tournament - players who are losing are still trying to come out on top, they know their opponents make mistakes, so they are looking for them. You won't have e.g. that Mihu vs 815 game in the ASL :D

Losing track of the opponent's army for a small moment resulting in a loss seems to be the overarching theme of Group C. Amazing cast, as always!
absolutely love the super detailed analysis of the games, the more nuanced and niche information the better in my eyes. There are so many things going on in each game that for someone who doesn't play at a professional level would be completely overlooked. the explanations of how each of the builds interact with each other and how the meta has evolved over time to make subtle but major changes in the game play is something that only people who have been playing the game with a competitive mindset for decades could know. The fact you have been involved with the pro scene for essentially the entirety of starcraft's existence makes your casts the most interesting and informative on the planet. its always amazing to see someone be incredibly passionate about something and i appreciate the time you take to share that experience and insight with the rest of us. Thank you for bringing good games to the fans as the pros would say lol
My favorite part about watching the not super Pro/Pros is how close games with seeming foregone conclusions can get.

@ArtosisCasts is there any way you can add the map names somewhere to the overlay during the matches? I know you say the map names, but sometimes i forget what you said and don't want to have to skip all around trying to find that single mention again. Also, this is so enjoyable to watch! It's a totally different experience listening to your insights without all the TTS spam!
It's just not the same without the vod starting with 10 minutes of background edm and a countdown timer 😢

Always had an interest in this tournament but the videos were tough to follow. Super excited to have a more professional version and some of the best casting you've ever done.
I actually like the zoomed out replays.
It does a great job showing army movement and all the little things that are being done.
interestingly, that shows that Artosis is reading our comments here - I remember some time ago he used to do more zoom-ins, concentrating on micro more, and almost never did zoom-outs, and there were a lot of comments that he should start doing those, and now he does :)
Ample vs Mihu is the exact description of situation when I argue with my wife, and for sure you know Im Ample there.

Gotta say, I'm loving this tournament series... it feels like ASL and in some ways is even more exciting / interesting.
From about 58:00 look at the blue dots on the minimap flying west and then north (barely avoiding getting detected by an overlord). They end up dropping in the upper left corner. You can see the red blob of the zerg main army rushing there to clear up the drop. That's when the lurkers were lost and terran broke through. It was a great deflection move from Mihu and not-so-great multitasking from 815. To be fair, it was very unfortunate timing.

I really want to see more Dropship of zealots into weak bases from Promise. He had 2k minerals at one point & if 1.5-2 min earlier he had have started making a single robo & shuttles & got the speed upgrade (yes another building & tech), he could have annihilated 2 bases at the same time.
Even if he did it quite a bit earlier... he just needed more Macro for it all.

I love your analysis as you cast. Especially when you're casting solo, you do a good job of balancing remaining engaging with gameplay and speculating/analyzing/explaining/etc.
Wow, I'm stoked to see a non-Korean qualifying for the playoffs in a Korean tournament. Looks like Mihu has the ability to make his opponents play worse from ahead positions.
game 4 you're wondering who's in the lead and you can watch the probe count drop by like 2/second for awhile and it's like...well that answers that.
Pretty funny that 815 obviously didn't know that Ultras couldn't go behind the minerals in his natural on Blitz Y.
in situations like the 815 vs promise game, where the p has lots of minerals but not enough gas, and the zealots arent doing a whole lot against mass lurker, i wonder if investing in a reaver shuttle could be a strong play
Pretty massive throw from 815 vs Mihu. Seemed like he ran out of stamina while Mihu's game sense stayed sharp late in the match

Watching Arty cast Brood War is like watching the veteran players casting NFL games, where they circle things on the all-22 camera or call the plays before the ball is snapped.

Can someone explain to me why the top 24 in ASL are always Korean? There are 1.4 Billion people in China and 52 Million in S. Korea. That's 28 times more people in China. I know Koreans are serious about SC and not every person plays SC but what's the big reason?
I have to admire Arty's dedication and energy to make a TvT a watchable matchup.
