Piccolo is probably one of the most anticipated 2.0 figures in the line, definitely a character that I’ve been eagerly awaiting myself.
Not to say that that the 1.0 figure was inherently bad, however being the first figuarts in the Dragon Ball line and after 10 years, I do think it was time for an update of a much beloved member of the Z fighters. - Розваги
In the DBZ line I wish for 2.0 future Trunks too ... Otherwise I kind of wish for a new Beerus with more faces ^^
It is already in the last survey as trunks "latest body".

Next 2.0 update should definitely be Trunks, but they've already showcased the new ss Goku 2.0. However, The Trunks figure was an option in a recent Tamashi poll.

It’s crazy how amazing the DB Figuarts feche sculpts have been recently. Like industry leading in my opinion. The expressions are so amazing. This piccolo is such an anomaly. It looks like early SHF DB face sculpts. I wonder what happened.

SO glad we got this update for Piccolo! The only thing that would've made this release perfect is a Special Beam Canon effect but love how the figure looks overall. Also, a 2.0 Krillin based on his Saiyan saga appearance would be excellent to get at some point!
Great review, I have been waiting for this figure so bad! I'm a bit disappointed with the height though...I think he should be taller than giniu
I had been holding off on buying a Krillin for the whole year because I knew that the moment I buy one, Tamashii will announce a 2.0 version... But I finally gave in and dropped a ton of cash on a Krillin. He was the only character my collection was missing! But now that I’ve done this, we can expect a new Krillin to be announced next week for $40. Ah well! I took one for the team! You’re welcome guys! 😭 😭 😭
I’m so sorry man! You know I’m convinced now that they’re going to make every popular character and re-release versions of their older figures. The line has gotten even more popular over the past two years!
Damn dude,I almost did that with Nappa and the androids 18 and 17.
BUT I bought Cell EE and Android 16 a month ago and will inevitably deal the regret after they announce the 2.0 versions.
Bandai is pandai. Maybe Bandai will make a release of picolo and others dbz character that much more correct in height. Shinkocchou seihou.

Man I still love my sh figuarts 1.0 piccolo but might consider getting this and I think maybe down the road the we will get a manga variation of the 2.0 piccolo as a Event exclusive
Just got mine today, definitely a huuuuuuuuge upgrade from the original. I love the teeth gritted face, the normal face looks like he has lipstick though and the sculpt doesn’t look right in my opinion xD also I was expecting him to be much taller, I was surprised to see how small his box was, I was expecting him to be the same height as Ginyu

He's still too short, but this is definitely a huge improvement from the 1.0! I love how expressive his face plates are and they executed his Cape was waaayy better this time around. He comes with tons of accessories has great articulation, and even if he's still much too short (Gokus meant to go up to about his elbow) As long as he's at least a decent amount taller than goku, I'm content. Great review as always!
For a better hight go with the model kit lol cheaper and a time killer to build and you can shade it to your liking
@@johns3153 I used to have him but he's fragile and broke on me😐 But recently I used his legs on my dragonstars piccolo and made my ideal ds custom piccolo.

Great review man! My fav DBZ character yay 🥳 I think this Piccolo looks magnificent. I'll see whether or not I want to darken his lips when I pop him open, it doesn't look too bad on yours. Definitely agree on Krillin and Future Trunks, also I think Perfect Cell needs a taller and beefier 2.0. Kampai! 😊

Do you REALLY like the 1.0 cell? I tried but thought he looked mildly tall...but only when considering the fact he reminds me of elderly woman that is mildly tall/stays in shape / chose Cell for a Halloween costume. Which I'll admit is strange and way too critical;but shf Cell just looks like one of the few figures out there I think was just done with out the love it needed. Being perhaps the OG fave bad guy/face of most loved arc by fans,from the best line of my all time/fave franchise to make action figures of mine dating back to age of 12 in 1999' when I walked into Acme comics. A shop in salinas california that was about half dedicated to the owner John's love of anime and heavyily into DB- Anyway after seeing the new yamcha coming out I have a feeling that cell 2.0 is on the way to be a good pillar of the collection of course as long as done to scale ⚖️

i wish this figure was just a tiiiiiiny bit taller to be a kinda middleground between saiyan saga and buu saga piccolo. Other than that i wouldve liked maybe some chopping hands because piccolo does chop quite a bit. overall im super hyped for when i order mine and i cant wait to see how he'll scale with raditz next year
Almost forgot about raditz, im wondering if his hair will hinder his articulation though. Or will the hair be articulated as well ?
I don't know if they have, yet. But, I cannot find it. We need an adult/mystic/ultimate Gohan 2.0. With a more natural sculpt to the shoulders. The only adult Gohan I've found is the one where it looks like they reused a sleeved shoulder piece painted flesh color for an unsleeved shoulder. This gives the shoulder an unnatural lip/rim/pointy edge. I've found figuarts Gokus, Yamchas and others with and without this. But, only SHF adult Gohans with this. The Dragon Stars line ultimate/mystic Gohan doesn't but, the after market price stays higher than most figuarts DBZ characters.
I hope figuarts does an adult mystic/ultimate Gohan with the natural shoulders. And my greedy wish, also includes some Super Saiyan face(s) and hair alongside the black hair mystic hair and faces.
I wish the Gi wasn't so shiny. It makes the figure look cheap when compared to most modern Figuarts releases, which have a proper dull coating on everything except the joints and armored parts.

I made it. Plans to reproduce it are put on hold at the moment though

When I got mine one of the antennae fell off the head so I spent about 5 minutes taking each one out and putting glue in them very carefully.

and keeping with how tamashii nations like to label their 2.0 update figures, im gonna guess that the 2.0 updated base Vegeta with have the title “Vegeta Prince of all Saiyans” or something along those lines. btw am i the only one that wants a 2.0 updated Beerus? and please explain your custom 2.0 base Goku
Good call! I’d like a Beerus 2.0. Goku is repainted SSB 2.0 Goku in brighter colors with custom belts I sell.

I did, the entire figure is painted with airbrush
@@eightysixedreviews how'd you manage to tape off the red lining so well to not get paint on it? And the rope that goes around the boot!? Great job!
@@nocya28 Its all masking tape. I masked off the rope, but something like sticky tac might work better too. Then i painted the whole boot, both sections with a lighter blue. After it dried i masked off the blue parts and painted the lines white first, then red, to give it an even finish. Hope that helps

his face definitely doesn't look as sharp as I would like, kinda reminds me of the late dragon ball art style from the 80s.
I love everything about this figure except the Cape. Tbh, that Cape looks very ugly to me.

Man this piccolo is suffering from the 1.0 goku syndrome, major diaper issues. Good sculpt though.
Damn. I thought this figure was a lot better. I hate the 2.0 crotch piece. It makes figure looks fat. Like if they were wearing a fooking adult diaper. Just compare with the figure rise. It look slimer in the crotch area and its also beefier. It has that v shaped torso piccolo always had in dbz.

It's a horrible figure, the face looks dumb, the chest is to big, and the arms are to small.
