This is the best Cradle lineup ever. Been a Cradle fan since Midian came out. I'm a full on Cradle Of Filth fan.
now this is my favorite song! melancholic and mysterious! the guitar solo is magical!
I think that riff in the verses sounds so fu*king good. This is starting to sound like their best work. The guitar work in the whole song sounds great.
I just watched an interview with Dani Filth at Bloodstock and he said the album was written before the coff. He has been sitting on it for a minute with slight adjustments during that time. If the product is like this he should take his time more often.
Cradle always brings dark happiness to my heart. Gothic romance atmosphere, badass playing. Dani's in top form, Richard and Marek are fantastic, they feed off each other so well. Daniel and Marthus are such a great backbone, tight AF. Everyone is doing a fantastic job. Can't wait for the new album, sounds really promising.

Great review! You should dive into "Midian" album, it' amazing, or at least check track "Tearing The Veil From Grace" - on of my best! I'm glad that You mentioned "storytelling" - because this story is telling itself. Thing i love in this video are colours - at the beginning You see many red and blue and when monster shows everything goes darker (even Anabelle's hair), and than it turns again - nicely done! Song is just beautifull, nothing to say more about it than You did, i'm looking forward this album - however i love them all. CoF fun since 2002, greetings from Poland. Cheers Guys! \m/ \m/

'Hammer of the Witches' was my favorite record of 2015. You should really dig into that whole album.

Talking of stories, I love how the solo changes which tells you something is wrong and the demon is about to be killed
I was obsessed with this band in the mid too late 90s..since then it's just been a few songs here and there..but the albums with this line up have been stellar..and I think Lindsay will not be missed and this will be by far the best album from this lineup..can't wait

Nice review. I started listening to COF when they released From the cradle to enslaved EP (1999) all the way to Nyphetamine (2004) but kinda forgot them after. Probably because i was getting into other styles of metal but i will give the full album a spin when it drops! 🤘

You should react to I Want to Die by Mortal Love.....I have discovered so much music through your channel. When you reacted to Death Come Near Me by Draconian, I was stoked. I was familiar with the song already and your reactions were spot on. Having said that, that epic song got me through a divorce along with another epic by Mortal Love.... I Want to Die. You won't be disappointed.

He is not doing press for this album, he has other band members doing it. Maybe at some point, I will always try for sure.
Cradle are another example of my past stupidity. When I started listening to extreme metal, I disregarded them because they were too "gayish" for me to listen to and simultaneously admit it. Stupid terminology and stupid thought process. Another band that I missed this way. This song is pretty good. Gotta dive more into their catalogue.
They are like the Iron Maiden of Extreme METAL. Enjoy exploring and...they are nearly everyone's guilty pleasure 😁
I'd highly recommend checking out their 2015 and 2017 albums then!
Check out cruelty and the beast. That was my first album that got me into harder metal persay. I didn't really like it at first but after a while I really liked the dueling guitar melodies. That album is flat out amazing. It's a masterpiece imo . It has this weird ominous vibe to it . Check out Bathory Aria and Twisted nails of faith were my favs. You might check their demo Total Fucking Darkness if you havnt heard it. It's kind of a crappy recording the old version but it's really raw they remastered it. Its the most brutal and less gay as you said lol. Unbridled at dusk is the best song. It's their demo .
