How do you get your diamonds so pronounced I am using half inch sew foam but diamond look almost flat
Any tips on color-matching existing semi-faded vinyl? Where do your source your material?
Looks great! Did you use two pieces of 1/4" foam for the backer and what pen did you use to mark out the diamonds?
Yes I used 1/4” sew foam but 2 pieces equaling 1/2”. The gel pen I used came from Amazon. 100 pack for less than $10
How did you learn to sew?
Thanks for the support. I learned to sew basically how I learned all trades. I just watch others do it. Never had a step by step teacher. I just observed. That's how I learned upholstery. I started out as the delivery guy/clean up kid 25 yrs ago .Picked up the trade quickly by watching
