I think you should go and try to get a better card for cheaper. Personally recommend the GTX 750 Ti 2GB one. You can get it on ebay for around 100 dollars and maybe even less if you do bidding.

i have a 750TI and it performs much better than the R7 260X, and doesn't need an external power connector. I reccomend the 750TI more the the reg 750, as mine came with 2GB of GDDR5 and increased performance for a total of $150

yeah, 950 is much more better than 750TI and only cost a little more than the 750TI, but I don't know if my PSU can still power it if I decided to upgrade from my GT 610... and also 750TI consumes less power 'cuz it doesn't need a power connector and will still definitely do its gaming capabilities.

The 750 is seriously impressive. Playing Metro at 1080p w/ 60fps on medium settings on a card that cheap seriously blows my mind. I can't wait to see the performance gains on the high end Nvidia cards with Maxwell.

Bartek22026 Completely wrong. When I built my PC, I had i7-3770 quad core 3,4GHz and used the built-in Intel HD 4000. I barely got 25FPS on the lowest settings with OptiFine. You NEED a graphics card.

make sure it is PCIe gen 3.0 x16, older slots have less bandwidth and will bottleneck your card
750ti is a little more than the 750 and has better performance so probaly the 750ti is your best option

It's a mix of getting review units and buying it myself. This is my job so I can afford to spend a little money to make a video.

Because he seemed fairly impartial to both brands, noting when amd cards got ahead and when an nvidia card was ahead as you just saw, (and he didn't even tell you than in the 2 lower brackets the amd equivalent was beating out the nvidia one by a good margin) you're just not used to seeing a graphics card reviewer licking nvidia's ass, and I get you, a lot of them are for nvidia only, as they send them free graphics cards to test and free trips to graphics events (LinusTechTips for example, massive Nvidia shill)

Obvious things you missed:
1) i7 3930k doesn't support 128 GB of memory.
2) You can't get 3 TB SSDs.
3) No one is stupid enough to realistically pair a GT 610 with any decent CPU, or ask about it for a gaming build.

The ti version is literally just the power-saving version of the 750. It doesn't have a separate port for power from the psu and instead gets all its power from the PCIe slot.

In what country? I can get a gtx 660 for $170-$180 in the US. The 760 is between $235-$260 for the good ones. And the 770 can be had for as low as $330 for msi's twin frozr card.

Lol I bought a used EVGA GTX 750 for $40, and put it in my Optiplex 390 with a Core i3 2120 @3.3ghz, and 6gb DDR3 ram. Plays Rocket Leauge 1080p on ultra with 60fps. Btw I got the Optiplex 390 for free, so I got a 1080p gaming beast for only $40. :D
It's best to look online at real world results. That is more important than amount of GB of RAM, and more important than clock speed. The best combination of those 2, and more factors, gives the best real world results. Many people sites have best real world results listed, and so you'll not waste as much money on stats that don't help.
