If you find the background noise in this video and the sound of sticky tape being unwound moving well good for you. It isnt mystical or moving. If this was a european would you be watching? Be honest. Its bunkum.
Milennials and GenZ have an entirely different perception of the world as contrasted to a 65+ year old person. Things we simply ignored are now full blown distractions as well as hurdles to learning for the youth. The conclusion is “ lives centered around internet technology is producing a generation of artificial dependency.” In short, the internet is your new drug, and if the “hit” isn’t enough, you don’t get the endorphin release needed. And the result is Columbine or Uvalde, Sandy Hook, etc…..
It's always wonderful to watch you work, Mr. Shibasaki. No talking and no music brings the focus in toward the sounds of the painting process, which is nice from time to time. I'll be praying that your health makes a solid recovery so that we may all continue to enjoy watching you work.
Yes please more ASMR paintings! The raw sounds of art being created is why I enjoy art myself. I always enjoy the sounds of different mediums as I create. Would love more of these videos master

Oddly enough, I found that this actually helped me focus while working on something, the sounds I mean. It is so satisfying watching the picture come together and that fire with the smoke coming off of it is amazing. It is stunning how at first it just seems like random bits of color, but then it comes together into something... extraordinary.
This was absolutely fascinating to watch. I treat my paint brushes like they're fragile instruments but you treat them like tools. Your brush technique has inspired me to stop babying my paint brushes. 😊

I am a gruff 50 year old man, with little to no interest in art. I started watching this video, seeing these sloppy strokes, thinking to myself that a 3 year could do this. I have never in my life, seen something inanimate come to life in such a way. This man used his vision and talent to bring something so unimaginably beautiful to us, like a precious gift. This brought tears to my eyes.
Yes more please, so often getting started, finding a subject to paint or relaxing enough to hear what the brush, paint and paper are saying, where they are leading me, is hard to do. I’d appreciate a longer video of this type, an hour would actually be quite nice. TY

This is a good idea. I have followed ASMR for some time and have spent my career in audio. This is a profound way to demonstrate your considerable talent.
I loved it, and going to watch and listen to it again with headphones. It is fun that you let us appreciate the process and the environmental sounds as they present during your painting session. ASMR wise, it is satisfactory visually as well as auditory. Especially the pencil, the brush, the knife, and the finger strokes on the surface of the watercolor paper. The delicate touches when you are giving definition are very nice too. About that, the smoke of the fire is definitely the highlight of the ASMR experience, as it is mesmerizing to see it appear under the touch of your brush and it was making a lovely sound. Overall, I am all for it! And the painting is again, as always, wonderful.

Mr. Shibasaki I love this video :) I've been an artist all my life, since I was 5 years old. I don't paint too much with watercolors right now, mostly acrylics on canvas, but in the past I've used watercolors a lot and I totally love and respect the medium. And, I have been sensitive to ASMR also since I was a kid, too, but I didn't know what it was called - it didn't have a name. I guess I thought everyone had ASMR tendencies. Please make more ASMR watercolor videos if you feel moved to. This was a really good one :) I have subscribed to your YT channel...

今やデジタルで水彩画も自由に描ける時代と言いますが、筆の掠れる音や絵の具の滴りを見ると、アナログっていいなぁって思わされます。
2年前くらい前に家族がバラバラになり自暴自棄になっていた時に柴崎先生の動画と巡り合いました。先生の絵と語りに助けられて今に至っております。絵は自分では描きませんが、見るだけで癒されて支えになっています。僕のような人間も沢山いると思います。これからもお体に差し障りがない程度に皆んなを癒し続けて下さい。お願いします🤲お体大切に

It is fun that you let us appreciate the process and the environmental sounds as they present during your painting session.
ASMR wise, it is satisfactory visually as well as auditory. Especially the pencil, the brush, the knife, and the finger strokes on the surface of the watercolor paper. The delicate touches when you are giving definition are very nice too. About that, the smoke of the fire is definitely the highlight of the ASMR experience, as it is mesmerizing to see it appear under the touch of your brush and it was making a lovely sound.
Overall, I am all for it! And the painting is again, as always, wonderful.
The luminous sky reveals the beauty of this country landscape, the facets of rural life, the gestures borrowed from season to season, the deep colours of sienna, black, grey, give life to this watercolour, with its earthy charm. Thank you Mr Shibasaki🎶🗾♥️

Mr. Shibasaki I love this video :) I've been an artist all my life, since I was 5 years old. I don't paint too much with watercolors right now, mostly acrylics on canvas, but in the past I've used watercolors a lot and I totally love and respect the medium. And, I have been sensitive to ASMR also since I was a kid, too, but I didn't know what it was called - it didn't have a name. I guess I thought everyone had ASMR tendencies. Please make more ASMR watercolor videos if you feel moved to. This was a really good one :) I have subscribed to your YT channel...
