I bought some that look like this but the tops were already folder and stitched in place, from Wal-Mart online last year. I actually have them in my living room because it is farm house design. Wish I would have known about making my own with real drop cloths, thanks for sharing this so others can see how cute they are.

How did you feel this fabric thickness worked for light filtering? Would the fabric itself be enough for sleeping through early morning light, or do you need your blinds for that?
