I have a Stihl dealer about an hour away and thus I use a Stihl for my wood yard. Like you said both work IF you keep the chains sharpened.
Yup, a good dealer is gold! No matter the brand!
When I first got my 562xp, I had an issue with restarting it when it was warm. Quite embarrassing when you are helping a neighbor and bragging about the saw. Well what good is it if you can’t start it? Then I found out that you don’t use the decompression valve when the saw is warm. Since I stopped using the decompression valve on restarts, it starts immediately. I think that is why they removed the decompression valve, it’s not necessary. JMO. Enjoy The Journey - Cheers
Thanks for the info! Keep cuttin'!
They removed the Decompression valves mainly because the smaller saws had a lot of problems with leaking decompression valves due to the small delicate design required for the decomp on such small saw. I replaced the decomp with a plug on my 562xp because of that.
I bought one of the first 362's in Scotland and it has been my 'back o' the truck' saw for years. It gets wet, dry, dusty and it thrives on neglect. It helps my local dealer is a real diamond and sold it tome at £200 and some pounds less than S.R.P.
Sound like a great saw!
I wish more people would say what you said in comparing the two different differences saws. Your statement should apply to so many things things (tractors, cars, trucks etc.) What you said was that - they were both good saws and would do what they were supposed to do. Which one do you like? Which one do you have a close , good dealer to work with you. - -
Such wisdom from such a young man!
Thank you!
The dealership will be the deciding factor for most people. Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Yup, very true and that is a good thing!
Great Comparison.
I've recently had the opportunity to run a 545 and a 562. Both great running saw's
Really like the 5xx series Husky’s. Smooth, fast revving power, and excellent air filtration.
@@zeromark202 I agree
Use a good quality oil 40:1 in the 5 series! I have an original generation 550xpg and have done that since day one and have not had any issues with it to date. After warranty period I dremmeled the muffler a bit to allow more heat to escape as well. Happy cutting! Stay safe.
yup.
yup.
Both Chainsaws are outstanding quality and as Chris said the both are great Chainsaws. Grateful to have the freedom to choose which brand of chainsaw .
Yes!
Freedom! Looks to me that is slowly slipping away today. Before long we will all be using electric chainsaws!
How do these two saws feel in ergonomics and weight?
The 362 is an older saw and the 562 is like a new babies but ....smooth!
I have owned a 572 and then two 562's and before that a Stihl Wood Boss 072 I think (been a long time). The first 562 was good for a few years and then crank bearing or crank seal failed and my dealer said it wasn't worth fixing because by the time he fixed it I would have almost as much into it as a new saw but with no warranty. So in March of 2022 I bought another 562. I cut about 30 cord of wood usually in the spring/summer time frame and then use it sparingly in fall and winter when I cut a little wood for my camp or sauna. So this year I used it for a few hours one day in the winter and then early May I cut down a couple of small trees and set the saw down to move some brush and the saw quit running. When I tried to start it the saw pulled hard and never fired. Took it to my dealer and they said crank seal or bearing went again. Since I was 1-2 months over warranty dealer didn't think Husqvarna would honor the warranty but they checked and they wouldn't. Dealer suggested I go online and try contacting Husqvarna that way and they sent the standard "Thank you for your ...we will get back to you within 24-48 hours". It was 10 days and they still never replied so then I replied back to the standard email and the next day got the reply that they can't replace my saw or pay to fix it because I was out of warranty. I keep thinking I should have used it one day in March while still in warranty and then they would have gone good for it. Hard for me to stay with a company that won't do anything if you are just out of warranty and have only cut 30 cords of firewood with a saw that you paid almost $1,000 for! They could have at least gave me a credit of $200-$300 toward a new saw. I have ordered a Stihl 362 now. Won't go back to Husqvarna with customer service like that.
Yes I have heard the first generation 562s where not good. The mark II version is all new.
@@InTheWoodyard When I purchased this last 562 the dealer told me Husqvarna made some changes to improve it over the one that had previously failed so I was not impressed with that because the new one failed faster than the previous one. And even if this all new mark II version is better, why would I want to take a chance when it might fail just out of warranty again and customer service just tells me they can't do anything about that instead of trying to do something to keep a customer such as offer some money off on the next saw purchase.
Good morning, I want to thank you for your realistic compassion of the two saws. I have a Stihl MS362C and a great dealer close by for parts and repair. Both are great saws. I also have a similar size Echo that's a great saw.
Yes, all 3 makers have great products!
I have watched many UA-cam videos from Germany of people cutting wood. Even a tree service in Stuttgart. I have seen more Husqvarna saws in use compared to Stihl. That tells me there is more value with Husqvarna in today‘s market. No brand loyalty here and the most I own currently were made by Dolmar. I too find the switching means on Stihl counter intuitive. Great video!👍
Thanks for sharing you information, I agree on the switch.
I own both brands but I Stihl like my Huskies better!
I too so far Stihl like the Huskies better, but I think I need more Stihl saws to be sure...more comparisons are needed Stihl.
@@InTheWoodyard Whichever you prefer, just have pun!
Having used mostly stihl professionally I have had good reliability with stihl provided you stay with factory recommended specs, I'm sure husky are good to as they would be the leaders in the industry, for me I will use stihl. Keep em sharp and let em rest between tanks of fuel and maintain the well and they will last good.
Yup, good saws!
Just got a husky 562 mk ii but I don’t know what size the chain is to get the right file for it. The manual says it could have one of a few types on it from 3/8 to .325. It came with a 20” bar.
I have a 24" 3/8 on mine...RUNS GREAT!
3/8th doesn’t refer to the cutting edge. Take the chain into a shop (or if you have a number of files you can do this yourself) and see what files fit the gullet of the tooth, then just run that (: guilty of treeson did a great video going over all the specs for chain saw chain, I’d highly recommend watching it, helped me a ton lol
Love your fair comparison. To me, it’s like trucks, I’m a Chev/Stihl guy but have a lot of buddies who are Ford/Husky guys and you know what, we all are making good choices.
Thanks!
Nice comparison.
Folks have opinions about cars, trucks, tools, religion, beer, sports teams and thousand of other things.
Might as well throw chain saws into the mix.
We can make our choices. It is great to be an American.
Yup, I like the option of variety... most companies make great stuff ....if they don't they go away fast.
I’ve got a weeny 024 but I keep the chain sharp and it cuts great. Not working production.
Sharp is good...keep cuttin'!
What's the name of that bar holder (when you were sharpening) and where does one buy it?
We make them! We are going to make a new batch soon...email me at chrisinthewoodyard@gmail.com Thanks!
First saw was a used mccullough, first new was an 026 30 plus years ago. Inheritated a rancher and recently picked up a 440 magnum. All great saws ...... but dam that extra power is thrilling!
Yup,l more power is fun to have and feel!
You’re Always having fun, I want to be just like you when I grow up!👍TCT
Tony my good man, you are past grown but at least you have hair yet. Ha!
😆
What kind of sharping bit for the dremal did you use
Oregon 7/32 stone bit a 3 pack is about $7
Ok thanks. Good video BTW
Great video and I agree with you that both are great saws, they work, and cut is all that matters.
You got that right!
Great comparison and I love how you don’t dog any brand. You keep it real and that’s awesome!
I appreciate that!
I own the 362c. Terrible chain oiler from my experience. Never had the Husky. I’m happy with my Echo 620p.
The 620 is a great saw, I am looking forward to trying one out!
Love my Echo 620, with a muffler mod and tune they run like a 70cc. Old school bulletproof - non-stratocharged engine with adjustable carburetor = excellent!
Always found stihls are a little lean on their chain lubrication.
I'm an arborist that's always worked with stihls in the company I've worked for,
but I've got 2 Huskies for home use and the oil flies off the chains when using them.
An old style MS-361 was my first pro saw after the pull-on brand seems like decades ago ... not low/high but mid-range pro. Decided it was a good purchase cutting 3-5 cords a year, and that saw STILL/STIHL cuts like a boss w/ a 20" bar to this day. Awesome power/weight ratio, but have to admit I bought the 500 on an impulse. I don't really need the juice, but it sure is nice standing a little "taller" in the cut. LMAO :)
Right on! That 500 is an awesome saw...I just shot a couple videos with one over the past couple days...very nice saw!
Hi Chris, good comparison of the saws. I use a Stihl 462 and love it. I have used the 500 but with an older chain and I did not like it at all. I will swap my chain over to it the next time i use it and see if that makes any difference. I am a Stihl person for sure but I have never had any problems with the Husky's I have used and actually liked them its just more what I am used too. When I brought the 462 my first thoughts were that it rev's like the Husky.
Just got my first 462 a few months back. It's amazing! Gonna grab some mods from WCS soon
I got a 462 and a 500i. I also got a ported 461 from dyno joe, a 660 and a ton of other saws. I was using my 462 and 500i back to back two days ago and I like the 500 better. It’s an animal. I had that saw for a few years now. It starts easy. Revs to the moon. And it’s so smooth in your hands. Throttle response is so quick. First thing notice when switching is the 500i seems like a higher quality saw in your hands while cutting.
Yup, I have ran a few 462 and 500s and they are great saws...I liked the 462 more..but I am weird.
Very nice saw!
Yup, the 500 is a screamer for sure!
That husqvarna definitely cuts better. I have a 362, and honestly I don’t care for that saw that much, it seems to get bogged down a lot. Nice comparison Chris.
I think I need to do a new video with a new Stihl of comparable size.
In various comparisons on different channels I’ve noticed that the Husqvarna saws will hold higher rpms in a cut . I have aMS-362 c and compared to my CS-600P or my CS-620P it can hold its own. There all great saws they just have to run and cut. Keep on cutting
They all make great saws and I agree , they all cut well!
Husky’s have always been high strung over the years, but Stihl has caught up the ms400, 462, 500i are super fast!
Does the cs600 & 620 beat your 362? I have a 590 & 620 they both have been modded and love them best 60cc imo.
@@zeromark202 the 600 has a muffler mod the 620 is stock.
@@briannelson4493 what is the order from fastest to slowest? Between ms362, cs600, cs620?
I have a 260 and a 361. Both great saws but I have cut a ton of firewood with my 260 and use it 90% of the time.
Yup, they are great saws!
Chain sharpness is the key. Yeah more displacement feels good but running a lighter saw with a sharp chain is where it's at after a few cords.
Yup...sharp is good!
I have another one that compares pretty good to these. Its a bit over 60cc think its 64 or 65cc but close enough the Makita 6421 not sure what they call them now think they quit making that model a few years ago but sure they make basically the same saw just a little updated. If you like the dogs you will like the Makita/Dolmar saws man those things are huge that come on them lol. Really nice saw its a bit heavy though it seems for a saw that size. From my understanding though the bottom end is exactly the same as their bigger saws so you can get think its a 70cc and 78cc piston and cylinder and it will work with the bottom end of the 6421. Think they are like $600 maybe a little more than that fairly reasonable for a pro saw of that size.
Sounds nice!
Great video! I’ve seen similar with my Stihl Farm Boss and my friend’s Husky Rancher, direct competition. Both great: best chain wins.
Right on! The sharpest chain is a huge factor!
Great video Chris. I never saw any test done with the MS362 honestly, and I'm quite surprised that for the same cc the 562 actually has the same bhp in power when Stihl usually has more power in the same amount of cc. I don't think the MS362 stands out in the Stihl catalogue anyway... the 562 did better here! :)
Thanks for watching!
Usually you find with the two are the similar sized Husqvarna saws are a couple of cc less than a Stihl would be in any particular class .
Example, the 572 husky is 2cc less than the 462 Stihl, so produces .1 of a kw less.
@@daveyboy6985 hey so 2 cc equals 0.1 kW?
@@martinv.- was just thinking of the difference between the Stihl 462 and Husqvarna 572 in cc 's and power output , that's just the way it worked out for those two saws, I'm not trying to say it works out that way all the time with cc ratings.
There're both great saws...but I love the Husky. Just seems to suit my hand better.....
Yup!
Husqvarna is a far superior saw... because I own one and wont admit the oppositions saw could be as good, or "shock horror" potentially better ;)
All 3 companies make great saws...Echo, Stihl and Husqvarna!
My work echo $500 vs my personal Stihl $900 both 60cc and I'll give it to my pos work echo all day
great video as always, i am using the 362 and the 261 Stihl so it was fun to see this, and yes they are great saw's both of them, for me the choice of Stihl was what i could get at the time first saw was acquired, but again they are both great saw's
Yup, nice saws!
Spend the extra money and get a 400 you won't regret it same basic chassis as 362, except the 400 will run circles around it, the 562 and Echo 620 will as well, I had the old school 036 super that thing was a beast loved it no finicky hot start issues start in -40f temps no problem up here in interior Alaska, the same can be said about the 562 there is definetly a learning curve on the autotune saws love my jonsered 2172 old school non xtorq, I have a 2166 I grew to love as well, however my "nylon" crank bearings are going. I also have a shindaiwa 600sx (620 echo) I am yet to run cool video, it's definetly tough and their is no known cure for the chainsaw addiction bug!!!!!
I have ran a couple 400s...nice saws...but the 500 is WAY better...just my opinion.
@InTheWoodyard I have never had the privilege to run or handle the 500 but would love to try it!!! We run 362cm models on our wildland firecrew. I am having a difficult time warming up to them, however the vast majority of firefighting crews run Stihl by contract obligations, so for us unfortunately they are mandatory, kind of a stupid rule in the wildland fire world, so when our 362s bite the dust we are going to upgrade to 462s or 400s.
I own a 362 and an old 034, both bought used . I honestly prefer the 034 even with 3 cc less. I run 18'' bars on both, I guess longer bars are OK on such smaller saws if all you do is limbing to avoid bending over as much.
Those are both good saws!
Good morning Chris!!😀😀
Husky seems to have gotten it right with the new 562. I wouldn't have gave you 10 cents for one of the first ones. I have only owned one Stihl 362. I was never that impressed with it. If I had my choice. I would always take my ms460 over it because it only weighs a couple pounds more but the power difference is astronomical between them. What I always liked was my ms261 for anything 12 inches and under and my ms460 for everything pretty much 8 inch to 24 inches in diameter. Anything over 24 inches I always liked my ms660. Especially for felling.
Both of these saws are great saws and I would be proud to own either one.
Take care my friend!!😀😀
Logger Al
Yup, I have ran a 462 a few times and it is an awesome saw...good for everything. The new 562 is WAY better than the old ones for sure, it is very close to a 70cc saw! Everyone that has tried it has been very impressed.
Video wouldn’t allow comments soon after it was posted for some reason. I bought my 362 brand new last year, still dogs on one side only sad face.
And I learned a few running out of gas, then put it up for storage, you’ll need three sets of hands to start at the next season. It was bone dry, needed someone pumping the gas while I was pulling on it!
Maybe a priming bulb would help with that??
@@InTheWoodyard ahaha touché! Strange the laptop version of the channel still shows restricted for comments by my mobile app allows comments… more shenanigans by UA-cam.
I don't have much to say about Husqvarna, but my 461s are awesome.
Yup 461&2s are great saws!
Good Morning Chris and the wood yard.😊I have both saws and like them both. I Have a favorite that is my Stihl 261 CM 💃My Stihl 261 CM has also been ported😊
Sounds like a great saw!
What more could I possibly say, STIHL RUNS THE YARD. 😊👍🏿💪🏿👑👑👑👑👑 #stihlpower #stihlisyourdaddy #stihlrunstheyard
Did you notice the times???
@@InTheWoodyard Let me make something clear to you, Husqvarna AIN'T SHIT. Husqvarna is an inferior product and always will be. The so called times of these cuts didn't impress me at all. I've seen plenty of Independent comparisons between Stihl and Husqvarna and Stihl has completely dominated. So miss me with the bullshit. Stihl is your daddy and always will be. STIHL RUNS THE YARD. And it's good to be the King. 👑👑👑👑👑👑👑💪🏿 😊 #stihlpower #stihlisyourdaddy #stihlrunstheyard
I just ordered one from tree stuff, Husqvarna was on sale for 15% off plus a coupon of 100 dollars off. Can’t wait to run it.
Wow, nice price!
Enjoy saw videos , with that said I am a orange man have 5 husky 's and do most of my own work on them , keeping it simple you keep them tuned up and sharp they are hard to keep up with .
That is awesome! Thanks!
would love if you tried an 18" or even a 20" bar against that 24" bar on the same head. The extra RPM on the shorter chains that motor would scream. It does take power to pull that extra chain
Very true but for an all day cut give me the longer bar all the time...less bending and less reaching.
Would like to see the ms400 !!!! I have a 500i and a 261 of my own and i think it’s a very good combo to have !
Coming soon I hope. I have ran a couple of them in the past (400) ..nice saw but the 500 is way faster! Your combo is great!
I have 460 Rancher and I love it, 60 or close to 61 cc and it does what it should cut
Yup, that is a good all around saw!
I had a 460 rancher and thought it was very slow, I did have a 24” bar on it though.
Definitely get rid of the vanguard safety chain with curled over rakers if yours has that. Since sold the rancher and replaced with an Echo cs620 and blows it away. Now I have 70-90cc saws and use them a lot more.
Few years ago purchased a new Husky and it cut like crap. After I removed the spark arrestor, it cut as good as any previous saw.... The "new" saw was headed for the dump before the modification. The local dealer had "no clue" and told me this new saw was cutting "normal". Also had to sell my new Husky snowblower as that too worked like crap. Never any more Husky's for me - ever.
I had a couple Fords like that a long time ago. Three words I try not to use...always, never, forever.
What model Husky?
STIHL one model, Husqvarna one model. Been using both for twenty years
They make great stuff!
I would be happy with either one 😊
Both would be better!
I have a gas question for you.... Premixed or mix your own?
50:1 Husqvarna mix oil in premium... NO CORN gas.
Can't remember the models but I use to have a Husqvarna and a steil that actually cranked on the release of the crank rope. I'd love to get another and one of the weed wackers that do it.
Being disabled first responder now they would come in handy.
Talk to a pro shop and they might be able to point you in the right direction!
I have a number of Stihl weeders and my favorite is the R-94. It's lite and has great power. It's an actual 2-stroke.
hi there keeping an eye on you , take care and best to all john
Thanks, you too!
If you can get access to one, try a stihl MSA 300 C battery saw. Compare it against a 50 CC gas saw. I think you will be impresseed. The price is a bit off putting, but we use it along side our 500i. Just a suggestion if you do get a relationship going with the stihl rep. If I lived closer, I'd bring mine by, but it would be quite a drive for me to visit
Yup, we talked about doing just that! Sounds good!
Have you tried a Husqvarna 540i?
@@iffykidmn8170 Are you asking me or Chris? If me, no I have not.
@@squirrelrelocator Yes my question was directed towards you, thnx for your reply.
@@iffykidmn8170 I can generically tell you how and when we use a battery based saw vs gas, if that's useful. We have 3 stihl models. 2 we use a lot. The 300 and the 200.
Both stihl and husqvarna are good saws. I can make money with either one.
Agreed! Sharp and running well is what I want!
Nice video Chris. 562 looks to have a lower profile and maybe not so top heavy. Just looks like a lean, mean cutting machine. GNI
You are correct, it really cuts well.
I have the 362, 462 & 661 Stihl chainsaws.
I feel like the 362 is mehh in power with a 20in bar. Awesome in terms of reliability.
It is my least favorite of the three, however it's the one that gets the most work due to its lighter weight.
In its defense it is a whole pound lighter than the 562.
562 is a slob, in the sense that it weighs more than a 462 (13.4 vs 13.2).
I would not recommend either, I believe the husky 550 is great lil saw. Should it not be enough saw a Stihl 462 is no slouch.
Yup, the 462 is a great saw!
Great video. Awesome saws to get to play around with.
Thanks 👍
Like you said they are both great saws ! I have run both brands !
Yup,l they do make great stuff!
Husqvarna 562 weighs the same as Stihl 462. Always interested in how they stack up…using both I like the 60cc being less wear and tear to start.
They are both nice saws!
Well comparing both Saws
Thanks!
The sweet spot for my MS 361c is 18'' bar incredible chain speed, but most of the time I run 20 bar,i'm only 5'8 the 24 inch bar is just a little to much length for me.
That sounds great...keep cuttin'!
Im a husqvarna guy. They look better and i think have more power but stihl makes a better, longer lasting saw in general. Of course each company has good and bad models but in general most stihl saws out last most huskys. Just the way it is.
Really??? I have had others say the exact opposite here??? The all make good stuff! Some better than others.
My cousin owns a Stihl dealership in Mequon. Guess which one I'm buying ? lol....Great vid as always!
poulan wild thing?
They are both good saws, but I think the Husky is better built. Luckily, my local dealer also sells Stihl Husqvarna and Echo.
All three make great saws.
I own the 400C it has a little more torque than the 362, and runs smooth.
Yup, nice saw!
You zoomed in on that tooth after hitting it with the Dremel and just showed how dull it still was, LOL
Yup, it had some burs on the top of the tooth and I did touch it up a bit after that..good eye!
Video title says you're reviewing the 562 Mark I model, but you review the Mark II. Might want to fix that.
Oooooops! Thanks for the tip!
That looks and cuts like a nice smaller saw.
they both cut well!
Well, the Husky was the clear winner here. Surprising the 562 is a much more powerful saw, but several hundred dollars cheaper.
Maybe so ...but both companies make great stuff.
@@InTheWoodyardtrue. The 661 is a champ and the 462 is maybe the best all around chainsaw on the planet.
Knock it off Chris, you're gonna break the internet showing that you can run and don't mind a Stihl!!
Ha! Maybe so!
Chris, how about trying out Stihls new Hexa chain on your saws. I would be interested in what you think. Thanks good show.
I will do that someday.
If/when possible use same bar and chain in such evaluations. I "think" Stihl measures their bars differently, but that it works out the same, maybe... ???
Yup, If I can I will, sometime you use what you have.
The bars on these without some mods wouldn't swap between each other. I could see putting a brand new chain on both but don't think you will be swapping the bars around. I have a similar Makita that the Husqvarna bars work with but that isn't a 362 either lol.
Hey I don’t mean to be a critic but you’ll never truly have a sharp chain sharpening like that. Take the chain off and file in vice with hand file, it’s far easier with no saw in the way.
Hey, I hand filed for 30 years (I cut and sell over 200 full cords of firewood every year) and 10 years ago I started using a Dremel and a Oregon stone bit to sharpen. It is 3-4 times faster much easier and every bit as sharp either way so......
Great video. And well said.
Thanks!
G’morning Chris. Me likey boaf a dem ! Smooth runners. Sweet action today.

Yes they are, thanks Mr. Likey
562 is a far far better saw. Its not close
Yup, it is that!
Dealer availability should be the determining factor! Cant go wrong with either👍🏻👍🏻GNI
Yup!
Good job!
Thanks!
Neater, echo for life
All 3 brands make good stuff!
I’ll like either one but I have Stihls. If the pro shop thats 10 min from the house deals with mostly Husky I’d use them. I’m loyal to quality equipment no matter who makes it.
Yup, good stuff that works is what matters most.
Good morning they cut love it good video Chris ( Ty Ron
Thanks!!
👍
Thanks!
Husqvarna is clearly the best because it looks way cooler
They do look good.
What a crap bit of wood Tony gave you😂😂
It was a little rotten. But then again what can you expect from an old Polish guy! Ha!
I think the Husky's have more low end torque and the Stihl's need to rev higher. If you push the Stihl too hard in the cut and the rpm's drop, it will not cut as fast as it should.
To me it feels the opposite, the 562 seems much faster...
@@InTheWoodyard Sharpening the Stihl chain back to factory angles might change things up or might make it worse.😉🤔
@@InTheWoodyard I agree, the 562 seemed faster to me too. I am just saying that if you push the 362 too hard, it will bog down. If you moderate the downward pressure and keep the rpm's up it might cut a little faster.
Stihl makes some great saws but the 362 doesn't happen to be one of them. The first version of the 562 Husky was a dud as well but from what I am seeing so far. Husky has addressed the issues and the new ones are doing well. Time will tell...
I own both brands and something you didnt talk about is handle ergonomics. The Husky handles just always feel so much nicer in my hands . I also noticed your cuts were not as straight with the Stihl which is very common because of the handle design. 👍👍
I agree with all of you expert observations my good man!
@@InTheWoodyard I don't know about Expert but definitely call em as I see em!!
I have a friend who bought a Stihl 271 on sale with a bundle package( carry case, oil, extra chains, etc) last fall. This saw couldn't whoop it's way out of a wet paper bag! The bundle was the best part of his purchase.🤣

En Belgique les tronçonneuses Husqvarna sont très impopulaires car les revendeurs ne savent pas les réparer, on les considèrent donc comme des objets sans avenir. Nous préférons donc Stihl qui est une marque beaucoup plus sérieuse.
Good thing I don't live there! I can assure you that Husqvarna is a serious brand, they are one of the oldest companies in the world, over 350 years now and annual sales world wide with over 1.2 BILLION $$ in sales ANNUALLY..... Still has been around for a few decades and their sales are just a little more...BOTH are serious companies... your issue is your location ... not the companies.
When you was sharpening the chains you didn't do as good of a job on the Stihl. The tooth was rocking back changing the angle of the tooth's top angle where you didn't get the cutting corner (6:44 in the video). And you can see it in the video. If the Stihl's chain was truely as sharpened it would've cut faster.
no ...they where both sharp.
Let’s not waste wood and cut proper firewood
Say it,cookies are for girl scouts.
I have thousands of trees and logs to cut a few cookies are no biggie. I do cut 200 full cords a year and I used to think the same thing but ya gotta play sometimes.
I like cookies a lot! Do you eat?
If that stihl is your chainsaw. Go re sale it. Go buy an Echo 590 or the pro version 620. I’ll run better and greater than the stihl. Good video bud. Keep it up 👍
It is not, it is my old best friend Tonys saw and yes it is an old one...the 620 is very high on my list!
yummmmmm....cookies :)
Ha! Thanks for watching!
I still own my 562 xp the first year they came out and yes i cut alot of wood every year. Dealers don't make or break me i work on my own saws.
Nice!
Good Morning Woodhounds!!(((--::
Hello!
Husky is just a sexier saw.
Ha!! I guess that is good IF you are into that kind of thing...
My echo 621xp with a 28 inch bar
Absolutely destroys my still 362 with a 20 inch bar for breakfast they’re not even in the same league
Yes the ECHO 620 size saw is on my list!
Both suck if you go with the electronic carbs. And the 5 series sucks compared to the 3 series huskies.
Yup, some people like old school stuff.
Looks like a Mark II not a Mark 1
Yes it is!
