Hello ma'am, Can you make whole tech pack in one tutorial complete the sketch Front and Back in illustrator ,measurement chart ,BOM, SPI details ,Fabric Details, Hang tag and wash care label as well bar-code details for shipment ,packing details like In one carton box how many pCS to be pack based on dimension of carton box and shipment certificate how to make an all.

Thank you for the tutorial I want to start freelancing service. I am having a doubt. What information should I ask for from my client in order to make a perfect tech pack. Is he going to provide me with sample garment measurements, cost sheet, fabric Type, color code etc?

Hello, I am still learning and not getting things perfect just yet. But I created a tech pack using " Numbers " ( excel equivalent ) on my Mac book. There is lots of detail in there and the problem is my file is wayyy to large to send as a normal email. Any advice?
Hi Heidi, thanks for the informative video. I'm a Designer and have been in the industry for over a decade. The companies I've been designing for have a relaxed Tech Pack style and can be considered a little old school in that regard. I am looking to venture out as a Freelancer offering Flats and Tech Pack's. In regards to graded specs, usually these are provided by a Pattern Maker or in my case our own Factories in China after the final Fit or PP sample has been approved. The free template for the tech pack has a tab for graded specs. However, when I submit the tech pack to my clients do I need to give them graded specs as well? Or can this be omitted and let them know that they will need the graded specs submitted from their own Factory or Pattern Maker. Please let me know your thoughts on this, thank you.
Who usually create the tech pack? The designer or the patter maker?
Could be either, depends on the size of the company :)
