I took two years of General Electricity in High School many years ago. I have just now learned more about how to use this tool in your seven minute video than I did in my two years of schooling. Our class was about how to wire houses in new construction. Our instructor who to this day i still like and respect taught his class as if we already knew what he was talking about. Thank You for posting!!

thundercloud47 I bet your instructor was very good at his job. We had a professor at uni who had a PHD in mathematics. When he explained anything about maths to a room with 140 people in it, no one understood a word. We asked him to simplify what he was saying but to him that already was simple. So he found it impossible to explain it so we understood.

I also had teachers like yours. My old Man (RIP) (electrician) was the same too; except he got real grumpy when I didn't understand. This unfortunately caused me to dislike him for a very long time, forgetting, through this duration, all the other good things he had done.
Eventually I forgave him for not being perfect - around about the time he forgave me for not being academically gifted.

Appreciate video content! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you heard about - Franaar Shining Shape Formula (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good one off product for revealing the secret to repair your electronic devices minus the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my coo-worker after many years got amazing success with it.

Can you use voltage drop tests to check circuits on household electrical appliances; or is that too dangerous to do? I know that they are very efficient tests to conduct on 12v DC automobile circuits.

Looks like you have the meter set to ac voltage and amperage checking continuity/resistance.
I would think continuity/ohms is on the lower left of that meter.
    What am I missing?

Can you post the link for the electrical section, I'm having trouble locating it. Also I have the actron cp7672 when I set the meter to the omega area, it reads 1 non stop, it doesn't' ever change. Does that mean there is something wrong with the meter? Oh and Great vid, but just a critique for your next vid. Because the dial is black, the viewer can't see the dot on the dial to tell where you are setting it. It would be helpful if you put a white dot on the dial so viewers can see the setting easier.. THanx again.

Thanks for the video tip! nice to get good feedback like that. That's strange with the reading... it should change when you touch the leads together... OL is the normal reading on most meters for infinite resistance.

That is keyboard cleaner, it is to lower the temperature of the defrost thermostat to test if it is closed when cold. If you hold the can upside down when spraying it will freeze the thermostat. Thank for the question!

Multimeters are also useful for testing fridge compressor motors. If it doesn't start you should start troubleshooting with this procedure -> ua-cam.com/video/5LvTdvyIFyg/v-deo.html

Guess i need some sleep and watch later because i have no idea what's good and bad in most your demonstrations with drier parts. Sucks because i wanted to help neihbors out.

Yea i watched multi meter testing on dryers on other channels and figured the settings out so thanks though. I always help neighbors out and for free. Yesterday i helped clean the back yard of older christian lady and two days before did her front lawn. Then i crossed the street yesterday and buffed out the haze in his truck headlights. And helped him put spacers in his susspension. Thanks for the help, was just trying to give constructive critesizm.how ever that's spelled, haha.
