I understand security have a very tough and important job to do and may seem cold sometimes but they are ensuring his safety. There are very few modern stars that reach such genuine fan adoration as Morrissey does.
Morrissey is a gentleman. I saw him 2 times in a gig in Rio de Janeiro. But for my bad luck i never saw him personal. I wish to have some autography by Moz too
He is a benevolent king to his true fans. Integrity the likes of which cannot be seen elsewhere in pop music, soul bearing bravery, and a role model for the ages. Probably the only man on earth I would kneel in the presence of...in the right situation. Out of respect. It's been my extreme pleasure and honor to have been an official fan since 1992. I always feel so bad for him in these situations, he stops and signs and shakes hands but he looks absolutely tortured and miserable about it. I guess it's odd mixing fame and shyness. Not criticizing him, I love him, it just hurts my heart to watch.
I think the problem is to always be encircled by badass faces of security that always encircled him. Always be encircled by professional serious faces (lovers of eating a lot of meat to have those gross bodies) must be difficult for him.
He signed the stuff, why is this person still following, whilst filming?! That is so odd and disrespectful towards privacy; I can understand why fan encounters are frowned upon now :(
If people were true fans, they wouldn't hound him. Simple. Their selfishness, need to gloat to friends and get a signature on a bit of paper, trumps his right to be left alone. They should know he is shy.
How they stick their phones in front of their faces at him, and flail about album covers for an autograph-it totally removes any genuine interaction with him. I couldn’t imagine wasting such a once in a lifetime moment on a silly autograph. Morrissey looks so uncomfortable as they’re not even treating him like a human being but rather a god, the dude even SAID he was god! Which granted, yes, he is divine in many ways 😂, but in all seriousness, it’s still dehumanizing.
Yes, it is that the vast majority of his fans treat him as if he were a god, even though the truth is that we ourselves were the ones who created that way of treating celebrities or artists.
And l was just wondering regarding the Security Guy. Often seen during Morrisseys Stage Concerts holding back Stage Diving. Actually never heard his voice before. Goodness. I'm guessing he's some sort of Ex US Marine or something. Dam. I wouldn't mess with him.. he's a big Lad isn't he.
