This is a great interview - they seem to have a genuine fondness for each other!
Ive been a fan since 1984..i feel old...long live Moz....
My younger brother was a fan from the 1st Smiths single onwards; took me a few years before I changed from loathing to loving his lyrics and voice. I'm old, in my 7th decade; barely a day goes by without finding myself singing some Smiths or Morrissey song to myself
What an absolute legend he is..
Hi Fox, I'm just here for Morrissey!!
We will always love Moz. Absolute legend.
He’s more chatty as he’s aging.🙃 Legend, LOVE him!!!❤️❤️❤️
I love Morrissey and will always love Morrissey ❤
A true gem. I loved him 40 years ago and still do today. The musicians today can not hold a candle to Morrissey.
Love morrissey ❤❤❤❤
He's on top form here. Love you Morrissey ❤
He speaks word's of wisdom about the bs happening today
When this man writes, speaks, sings its always interesting and refreshing......
He's becoming far more natural in interviews, really great to see.
The only actual charming man left in this wretched world
Miley Cyrus exists ~ exactly!
A brave and noble man, God bless Morrissey!
I think she did a great job with him. I see people saying she didn't know much about him, but I feel the opposite. I think she knows exactly who he is and is quite a fan of his
I am guessing that it is more than likely she did not know a great deal about Morrissey or his career. The variety of guests and topics appearing on a show like that makes it impossible for a host to be up on the facts of everyone and everything they talk about. Sometimes a host will make the fact that everything they claim to know was literally handed to them five minutes before the interview so obvious that it's embarrassing but this woman was actually very good at making things seem natural.
Ladies & gentleman the legend that is Morrisey !!
Love how she says so it’s 40 years of Morrissey and he goes Yes at 4:06
Morrissey - Bengali in platforms ....... So relevant in NYC..... Shelve your western plans .... beautiful
This is good stuff, candy to a Morrissey Smith's fan. I wasn't a fan until a few years after the Smiths broke up but I am a gen xer. I just want to say that the reason the Smiths are still played spoken of promoted is because they are one of the greatest recording artists of all time, the music is some of the greatest popular music ever even some of the best music ever, I think they deserve to be up there with the Beatles the stones, Led Zeppelin, any of the greatest bands of all time lists
"Yes...but we shouldn't talk about it now" that was great
😂❤
This was a very good interview. A rare rapport 👌
Morrissey absolute legend..got to say Morrissey interviewed very well here which is a rarity as usually he gets very awkward when answering questions..got to say though FairPlay to the interviewer Morrissey seemed very relaxed with her ..which again is very rare..but of course Morrissey couldn’t help but put a bit of an awkward moment in when he mentioned about being assassinated 😂
I thought it was really hilarious when he said that. This interview was perfect.
Morrissey is such an interesting and perplexing figure. He does a local morning interview? Great interview!
Very New York! Jill Zarin vibes!
She's so "New York ", and he, so British!
Exactly. Her accent is so strong and you can hardy be more British than Morrissey despite his residence in the States.
She is annoying .
....funny how that happens when all of your formative years are spent in those 2 disparate geographies
It might come into my head that I'm jealous of someone doing well but then I'll wobble my head & just realise I'm happy for that person.
wow, such a great interview. 2 advanced souls in human form.
as a native NYer, watching rosanna scotto interview moz is delightfully surreal
NY is overrated.
