After getting a "tele" I decided I'd like to learn some country licks, which requires at least some hybrid picking. Lots of good information on UA-cam but this is the BEST lesson I've found for the beginner/intermediate player. Really good exercise and practice techniques to get used to using the right hand (instead of just a pick). Looking forward to seeing your other videos, thanks for posting!

I,ve been playing just using a flat pick for years,i find it so hard to get my fingers to work this way,it,s like learning to play all over again,and at 61,i dont know if my brain will connect with this new way of playing,lol.Can ya really teach an old dog new tricks,i,ll try it,see how it goes,all the best to guitar pickers trying this for the first time...CHEERS.

nirvan jasrotia Working man blues by Meryl Haggard. .. See the Claw by Jerry Reed.. Jim Burton.. Google what you want.. that way you get tabs ECT.. Try googling Pdf buster brown the claw by Jerry Reed. it's not Hybrid picking but a thumb pick let's to use more fingers. It's a compromise.
Do you reccomend having long fingernails on the right hand??
Glue on nails from nail shop, works great, good doing too!

Okay suppose your finger nails are broken and you can't the popping thing going?
Add some glue on nails at nail shop, center two fingers, works good, great popping sound, and a little different from pick, gives u a better riff sound, from pick
U don’t need nails to pop it U got it brother
How to attack the string, angle, how much mail of any. Missed anything helpful.
find your own way, your sound, your attack....it takes a time but it'll be a great time
