Amazing as always
Nice to see something that is actually fairly easy to get your head around as a starting guitarist. Thanks for posting.
Great lesson.
Thanks for your videos Tony. Happy Christmas and New Year from Perth, Western Australia!
Well done Tony, enjoyed that lesson. Keeps up the good work. Tim
excellent !
You are the best teacher I’ve found . You taught me more in a couple of months than my own guitar teacher did in two years!
Thank you so much .
Wow! Thanks man! Glad to be of service my friend!
That’s great Thankyou 👍
Absolutely brilliant 👏🏻 Tony,love the lessons ❤
Thanks my friend 🎸
You make it look easy. Good video
Nicely done✨🎵✨😎👍
best teacher on here !
Love the blues man, bluesman. 🕶️
Cheers Tony, great lesson.
Thanks man!
Nice job
Great stuff Tony. You really do make it easy to learn these things.
Thanks man! That means a lot!
I have been watching quite a few of your vids and have learned a lot because of how easy you explain things and how easy you make it to expand on things. That E note on the B is one of my fave notes as Muddy used it alone a lot. love that note sound. Thanks a lot.
Aw thanks man! Lovely to read that! Glad to help! Muddy is the man!
Great vid.. I'm novice-intermediate. You have a great teaching style 😁
It's sping in Kentucky and the pollen has me plugged. Yes, I need the Blues to Make me feel HAPPY! Merry Christmas a lot late but then I just found you. Thanks, Tony.
Your channel is now my favorite one wow. I love these wee riffs you are bringing to the table and they are so simple. Ive had a bit of a riff i learned from a mate for a couple of years now and could never work out what would go with it to keep it going longer and more interesting but this whole thing slots straight in with it haha. Thank you from new zealand. ❤❤
Aw thanks so much man! So glad you enjoy the content :)
Thanks again......Sal : )
You are welcome my friend!
Thank you, Tony. You don't know how hard it was for to count from 1 to 4 while playing my guitar. You showed me the way and it works. You really made my guitar player life a little bit easier. I lost years by practicing wrongly. But since I watch your clips on UA-cam I made good progress in improving. ❤
Aw man that makes me very happy! I’m glad you resonate with my lessons! Thanks for watching my friend!
I am a noob with learning guitar and find Tony brilliant. I struggle to count while playing. Is there a separate lesson on that?
Learn to tap your foot as if you're playing the kick drum. It really helps. It's even better if you stand up
While you are playing of course.
Maybe get a metronome to count the beats for you. And lay off the whisky till you get the hang of it. Then gee it laldie. Best regards. 🙃@@boardgamesandwhiskyuk1646
.
Good lick..!!!
Merry Christmas..!!!
..🙏🙏
..
Thank you! You too 🎅🎸
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽lv it
My call and response is..."lick" lyrics: Guitar Made Easy By Tony, 🎵"lick" lyric: YES! 🎵 Thanks Tony, you're awesome!
That was really interesting Tony, I really like that you are a fellow Scot. I'm from Inverkeithing and have subscribed. Mississippi John Hurt comes to mind. Going to check your other videos out. Is that your funky hut where you do your filming? Mind and do the dishes, no arguments 🥰 Best regards.
Thanks Tony “
You are very welcome amigo
Finaaaally this is the one ive been looking for for yeeears, heard it soo many times here and there😂 ill nail it easily on a technical level but i should really try to figure these things by ear at this point
Thanks! And yes, working it out by ear adds an extra layer of satisfaction and skill to your playing. Enjoy the process, you'll nail it in no time! :)
I really like this and your teaching style...BUT, it's sooo frustrating when a teacher teaches in segments and never plays it ALL together at the end to allows students to play along - not only to make sure they have it straight but also to work on rhythm, timing, strumming, ect.
I taught college for many years and I have found that the puzzle is easier to solve when you get a peek at the picture on the front of the box.
I would suggest that the instructor play the complete riff/verse/song first so that the following segments have context. YMMV.
I have more degrees than a thermometer...I have no idea what that means@@mikegee729
I’m normally play it at the end? Sorry if I didn’t in this one. I try to build it out as a story mostly because of UA-cam retention. It only sends videos out to folk that if they keep watching so I had to come up with that strategy being completely honest. I’m working on it though :)
Tony, I think your way is better. Especially for beginners, who might be intimidated by the result before seeing the process. Keep it up bro, I’ve been playing for 8 years and found this very useful. Much love.
The sound is awesome man. And so well taught. Thank you.
Ps. Never say no to the dishes. Pick the battles wisely.
When I wanted to learn the blues I noticed that most players are using OM. I mostly played a dreadnought. So I gotta OM. It's my favorite now and I think the OM and GA are louder more seems to come out of the OM and GA especially if it's all solid helps to know how to play it too
Thank you
Sorry Tony. I just discovered i was watching an advert when i clicked your vid and the guitarist on the ad said most you tube tutors get it wrong and this is how you should do it and i didnt like that statement, but it was just an ad attached to your vid which i have follwed now and it was great.
Ahh okay that makes sense haha! You had me scratching my head there my friend 😂 thanks for watching 🤘🎸
You might not be brave but you are wise Tony lol. Good lesson cheers mate.
Hahaha thanks man 🎸🤘
Is there somewhere to download a tab for this?
I'm just here for your accent 😊
Do you have tab for this
Not at the moment sorry
Don't forget those dishes lol
😎
