Now that’s what I call great instruction. Right to the business at hand. Well done sir.
I’ve been playing for almost 50 years and every time I watch a yt vid I learn something new.
I’ve played improv style most of my life, country, blues, rock.. and as a kid started with the likes of Johnny Cash , Ventures.. and the likes..
Over the years kind of developed my own style of interpretation.. but it’s time to learn some new teqniques... and nothing sounds sweeter than some good chicken picken and double stop lickin.
Thank so much... looking forward to more of your awesome instruction ... cheers 🍻🎸🎶

GREAT player and true TEACHER. A bit of humour and lots of specific info. I wish I could spend time in personal instruction with him. He's a buddy of my old friend Steve Trovato who is simply a MONSTER player and Teacher. To see and hear this was simply awesome.

As others have pointed out, he goes straight to visual breakdown and demonstration of actual playing. Teachers: in this video platform with its limited time frame, doing and showing are more important than talking. If you want to discuss the philosophy of a playing style at length, write it down in the description and mention in the video that it's there to read for those who seek it. The smartphone addicts will whine about seeing more than two sentences to read but the video content will be more valuable for those who came to see something done.

Great Video: QUESTION: For more experienced players just how important is the setting on the compressor? Or are there players who can play this style without using a compressor by careful use of the right hand? If there are names / links would be welcome.
