- Been on the lookout for some bigger fish in corpus christi, texas. Trying to target the bigger boys for a while and it looks like we got into 'em just a big. Really wanted to give my old love, the super spook a shot and it worked out. Usually I have better success on redfish with the super spook jr. but the big daddy came out today on the shimano saharaa 1000 reel.

Nice job, I love reds! I'm a mix fisherman, I love my salt and fresh water fish! My largest was 42" I use mostly cut-bait. Mullet head or a whole 10" live

Favorite redfish lure: I have a really old, like 1990's old, super spook in bone. I painted red gills on it and it's my go to plug for reds. And my girlfriend has the same spinning set up you do but the falcon is topped with a 2500 sahara.
