Everyone: Let's draw with 4 colors Kasey: Why not use 10?! Everyone:.......... Awesome challenge. I loved the two colors but the last one was also amazing.
Oooohh I love watching Kesh's videos. It's always nice to see artists promote each other! As an Indian art enthusiast I was especially happy to see this. Ball point pens require so much patience to use. I really admire the work you do!
I love this so much because the 4 color pen you show at the beginning is exactly what my old boss used exclusively, and the 10 color one is what my coworker gave me when leaving for a new job, because they knew I like to doodle :)
Your hatching/cross-hatching game is on another level! I think the last illustration was by far my favorite because of it. Thank you so much for sharing
I’m seriously impressed that the ink didn’t run out of that first one, or any of them, for that matter. Impressed with that pen! Wow! Nice job, Kasey. Awesome, as always!
The real question here is...HOW THE HELL DO ALL OF THE COLORS WORK? When I had these as a kid only one or two of those ten would actually work, I have been lied to all my life
Seeing an artist I admire make beautiful art with the cheap medium I used to use exclusively really felt special. Thank you for showing off that you can make beautiful art even with cheap supplies 😊
Wow that 4-colour one in the intro is the exact same one I found in our house that I bring to work because it has that little loop so I was able to attach it to one of those little retractable things I can hook onto my pants because people keep stealing my pens. The original shorter pen was more convenient but it was out of ink so this was the next best thing considering I can't find a completely new one to buy anywhere.
Kasey! I love watching your videos because of the progression. The way you take you time with things and the silly characters you come up with are amazing. Also blood lol
Omg you always make me wanna try new things with things I never thought of using of doing I like to make sure my drawings are colored well and doing this it'll look different and amazing!!!
My favourite ball point pen is papermate profile 1.4. The way they put ink down is different and allows for pretty okay gradients for a ball point pen.
The first pen you showed us the pen I use at work. I have different things I have to use different colors for and it is so convenient having them all in one place!
I had a Hello Kitty one of these that had red, pink, dark blue, purple, yellow, brown, orange, light blue, black, and green. I loved using it for taking notes and making lists. Made life easier since I could carry it around and not have a whole big pencil case.
I actually think it’d be REALLY AWESOME if you did something similar to this but did multiple drawings within one with different inks. And you’re only really able to see them clearly when you use one of those color changing lights that cancel out one of the ink colors. This pen would’ve been soooo good for that!!
Me: Hm, what is Kasey gonna do for her next video... Me: Oh! Maybe the four-color challenge! Kasey: Why not the ten color pen challenge! Me: Wot Kasey: Forget it
I use ball point pens for my lineart and tbh I love them more than profesional liners I feel like I have more control over them, and I can control their thickness and opacity, while with a normal liner I can't . I noticed people find it more pleasant to the eye when my lineart is blue, too
How do you just plan and sketch a beautiful and exciting piece of art, it would take me days to come up with a half decent art piece. Youare an INSPIRATION! So thank you
I remember having a multi-colored pen when I was little. I think it had 6 colors? And I remember trying to push all the color levers down at once for the ultimate coloring experience. It ended up breaking not even a year after I got the thing (I wonder why), but I still loved it.
Uniball is probably the closest to a fancy ballpoint. I love cheap, scratchy ballpoints though! Just using light pressure with the pen can create light shading. I usually go with cheap ballpoints instead of pencils for quick sketches, just so I don't have to deal with graphite mess later on.
I won a pen with eight different colours (pink, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and brown) at my elementary school a few years ago during a nutrition week bingo game. That pen is my prize possession, and is amazing for drawing.
Juat when I am exploring ballpoimnt pens You and Jazza drop awesome videos on it that are so different and unique. Your styles and use of the ballpoint pen are so unique. The technique of hatching and shading is so unique and awesome. Loved both the videos. And thanks for mentioning a youtuber who does a lot of ballpoint work. I was looking for that. Loved the last illustration and the shading and texture on her skin.
Why does this remind me of that one part in Hazbin Hotel when Charlie takes Katie Killjoy's pen and says "well how does it feel that I have ur pen, huh, bitch"
I have a couple of eight colour pens, and through the different inks in them I end up with about 11 different colours. Some of the differences are subtle - and then there’s the fact that one pen has a light blue, and the other has a purple.
Be honest... did you read something else in the title? 😂
*insert lenny face*
Kasey Golden ummm nooooooo..... maybe
Uh haha no............maybe
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Can I get a shoutout please please
I’m just surprised you didn’t tear a hole in the paper with all that colouring.
There were a couple of spots that it started ripping up, haha.
Oh noice.
Accually not noice. Thats bad...

The red doesn't work though

@@meowrock455 Fountain pens were mandatory in primary school for us so nobody actually liked them lol

It never occurred to me that this multicolour pens were not common everywhere. But it seems they are not 🤷🏻♀️
The real question here is...HOW THE HELL DO ALL OF THE COLORS WORK?

Rachi 14 righttt mines would get jammed
That pen. Is. AWESOME! I love all the little sketches she did in the boxes! Especially the green one. Green’s my FAVORITE color.
Same that and blue
I really enjoyed watching you explore the fine point of this art style. Really fun. My wrist hurt just watching!
The first sketches reminded me of the doodles you make in class, and also the big ballpen, nostalgic!
Seeing an artist I admire make beautiful art with the cheap medium I used to use exclusively really felt special. Thank you for showing off that you can make beautiful art even with cheap supplies 😊
I honestly have so much respect for her just for filling up big spaces with a thin pen.
This gave me lots of memories with my brother he would find those pens at school and give them too me I wish still had them tho
Anyone else amazed that the pen didn’t die after the thumbnails 😂
I love seeing artists using supplies I own cause it's like "hey I have that!" Which means I can make art that good!
keep on practicing! you CAN make art like this one day :D
Can’t believe one pen can hold so many colours!
I used to love these as a kid but I was always sad when one of the colors dried out. Great video!
deae kasey, i love how your ilustration is so simple yet effectif. so in love and inspiring with your idea and ilustration! respect!
The final piece is giving me Time Burton vibes, and I love it

Teacher: stop bringing pro art supplies to school. If you want to doodle, use a pen.
Kasey:
This is actually so cool to watch. Amazing content! Motivates me to start drawing again aswell.
Everyone had one of these pens as a child and one colour was always broken
Her art skills are impressive but what’s even more impressive is how she can draw so many straight lines without a ruler
I used to have a rainbow one but it broke too easily😂 there's a lot of those in the Philippines' cheap stores.
(I'm a filipino btw)
Kasey! I love watching your videos because of the progression. The way you take you time with things and the silly characters you come up with are amazing. Also blood lol
I would love to see more ballpoint drawings like this! That's super awesome!
There are definitely fancy ballpoint pens! I am a uni student, and I saved up for a Lamy ballpoint pen and it's my favourite thing ever 😊
Woah the last one was just 🤯. I love it!! 🤩. All the textures and gradients/blending is just 👌🏻🔥. On point :)
A friend of mine brought one at school when we were 9 ant it was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen at the time :o memories
The onion dude in the starting sketch was one of my favourites, HE WAS SO CUTE!❤️ and the last official sketch/artwork was my fav of the 3
Omggg the last drawing turned out SO PRETTY! I love the creepiness factor of the lines!!
Ahhh this takes me back to kindergarten and 1st grade when we used to compete to see who had the coolest pen

I'm sure she wouldn't mind as long as you give credit.
