Anthony! This was such a wonderful surprise when Rhys sat down to watch your video yesterday evening, your lessons have been such an important part of Rhys’s learning journey since he started working on understanding Stevie’s music 3 years ago. He refers back to it often and will send as many other blues guitarists your way as he can. He loves that you are never afraid to try the tricky sections of songs but explain them clearly and sensibly. Thank you so much for your knowledge and the impact it has made on my ‘blues guitarist’ son!

Put your finger pad slightly above the string and do a pull off. It's a muted note to a pull off. It's simple.

Those kind a tricks were used basicaly in Celtic acoustic guitar arragment all over the place, since they mimicing bagpipe behaviour in playing.

Great video, that’s the best way to describe it…. Vanishing pull off.
I know I’ve heard it before on one of Stevie’s songs I just can’t remember which one.
I’m a big fan of S R V and I play guitar, I’ve been playing guitar for 34 years now

I love your channel, thanks for posting those techniques.. BTW he seems to be playing mostly with the neck pickup.. Do you use a noiseless single coil in order to eliminate the humming noise?

    1. Take it easy.
    2. Don't care what is said, 80% chance its bots anyways. (Don't read your own press.)
    3. Before you shoot and after setup, take 3 min before REC and close your eyes , focus on breathing, then calmly start with a clear path. Rehearse the shoot. Oh there's a novel idea.
    4. KEEP THE FORMULA THE SAME once you get it perfect, yeah?
    5. What to shoot - Covers, Modes and riffs. Id like a whole series on Pentatonic riffs Go from Robert Johnson to Jeff Beck. Done! Do "focus vids" on your fav players Blah blah there. That's it. No fake intros, No ads up front, no explanations. That's what HONEST TITLES ARE FOR. Simply make a SHORT 30 - 40 episode card up front and get to it. We can pause. mmmk? NEVER COMMENT, NEVER LET THEM SEE YOU SWEAT. Split the screen top and bottom and put your pic in pic where you already are. Sync your playing with the cover then refer back and forth from top to bottom split screen on key points but dont blah blah. Easier for you this way.
EVERY DAMN so called dancing monkey instructor DOES NOT USE POV!! Bye Felicia! CLICK!
POV is pivotal. AND WHY I CLICKED YOUR VID. Yours is pretty good. See how close you can get so we can see, ya? We dont need the whole fret board all the time. We just need to see what you are doing. Does anybody else do this? NO! It takes work and you have to care.
Play the original on top and your POV on the bottom. LESS YADDA AND MORE PLAYING In fact don't speak at all. That's what comments are for in fact: Let us ask what we want by, "If you hit the sub button then I will be glad to answer questions. WINK. ME? JUST PLAY!!! You dont need to explain. Just play slow so we can SEE what you are doing. Leave the blah blah and ads for the end if you must. Songs are 3-4 min long. One play through slow then one full speed. UA-cam video player is equipped with Player CONTROLS, let us worry about what we miss. But the slow function sucks so playing slow provides CLEAR audio. COMON MAN lol we NEVER had blah blah. We put the ALBUM on till it wore out or played to the radio. No blah blah. That was fine. Look at your views. Its because of the POV.
    It's guitar, not brain surgery.
You are fine. Why do we care about you? WE DONT so skip it lmao. What? it's true. You got this jonny b.
How do I know all this? Because that what I want, what I need.
I need the POV LEAD for Killed by Death please. Best solo ever in MY OPINION. Yeah Yeah there's another one on youboob that's pretty good but it aint POV. Savvy?
ROCK ON - ALL HEIL MORTORHEAD, Lemmy is GOD
    PEACE!

That is not a pull off but its an "SRV flicking off note". You're just flicking off the note, not pulling off just flicking it off in-sync with the picked string. In SRV Little Wing he bends the note up but using his picking hand palm to choke the note to make have this crying squeal at time 2:58 click here to listen to make a video lesson on how to do this SRV chocked crying squeal ua-cam.com/video/Rj_NUS9hwxA/v-deo.html
