- In this lesson I'll teach you 3 different ways to visualize the I, IV and V chords for playing a simple blues shuffle. Not every configuration will work equally well in every key, but knowing these three configurations will give you options in any key.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME……so basically I’m having the hardest time trying to learn songs like Stevie’s version of little wing and life without you. Basically I can’t seem to do the double stops and cord embellishments with “the grip” is it because my neck is too thin?

Try working around the grip with what feels comfortable to you just for the double stops and embellishments. Then switch back to the grip
It's a great lesson, but I cannot get my fingers to do that 59XXXX stretch. Keep working it I guess ?
Yeah I've never been able to do it either. It would be nice to be able to play the chorus of Communication Breakdown lol
You could try doing it higher up the neck. Also you can use second or third finger for the second note of the power chord shape then stretch with little. Sometimes choosing the right finger for you is helpful.
