- What do you get when you split up an E-Form chord into several parts, add some heavy raking, some muting, and SRV's legendary heavy attack? You get the chorded lick I'm going to teach you in this lesson.

If you are new or intermediate to guitar - and you picked up guitar because you were inspired by SRV and related Texas Blues sound - I HIGHLY recommend Texas Blues Alley. Anthony really breaks this stuff down in amazing lessons
Thanks!
Hey do you think you could do a little lesson/version of the life without you solo?
Pretty sure he has one on his website
Well hello Babbyyyyy
I was in college in 93 when I learned how to do this, and I felt like a super-hero.
💪
The horse lope sound that Stevie used to talk about in his interviews. And actually what I've discovered is it sounds a guitar-playing along with a snare drum it's a shuffle as we all know. I was playing a Texas rhythm the other day and I can actually hear where they hand claps would be. I've learned a lot from the Vaughan Brothers
Miss these videos, nice work! Since my technique has developed and also my knowledge i find your videos so much easier to understand. Thanks for the free content!
Love all your lessons, but SRV ones r still my favorite!
Good stuff I'm going to get that down. Awesome.
Great content. Big like for explaining rythm too.
EXCELLENT...Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!
Wow that's brilliant it's out of my league but something to aim for I'm glad you include what gear you use but that is also out of my league have you done a video on getting a good sound from gear that is more accessible for example pedals through a katana or similar stay safe look forward to the next video
That’s some very clear Chuck Berry inspired licks for sure.
Absolutely. Chuck was able to get so much mileage out of this position.
Speaking of Chris Duarte....how about a C Butt Rock lesson? Or anything really by him.
I don’t understand why guys use these angels for videos. Makes it just as mysterious as listening to srv play it.
New pickups in the Don?
*Hey can u make a room tour or amp/rig tour* …. *Cause we get that zexcoil makes half of the tone still amp and combination is little confusing*
Nice lesson! What picks do you use?
Gravity Picks 1.5mm
Could you do a video about the best KEMPER profiles for SRV & Hendrix sounding/playing...?
jusr get a kingtone bluespower it nails these tones.
Is this from the montreux look at little sister? Him and Johnny tore this lick to shreds, especially at the twelfth fret
It could be, I haven't listened to that one for a while, but it would fit the tempo.
@@Texasbluesalley take a listen. You’ll see it, would be worth a video. Thanks for your work
Half step down ?
This lesson is in standard.
